IMO, our product in the market place is sh1te ie our football, our results, our football management, our executive management and our ownership and as such, trying to grow and expand your supporter base is well-nigh impossible. The simple facts are under current ownership, we have gone from a top 8/10 Premier League club to a club that has not even reached the play-offs in 12 Championship seasons and even suffered the ignominy of being relegated to the third tier of English football during that time. In addition, under current ownership, our attendances have plummeted from an average of 25,000 (2010/11) to an appalling situation where on Tuesday night I would not think there were more than 5,000 Rovers' fans in the ground (I would love to see the official police numbers). To have just 4,000 adult season ticket holders this season is in my eyes an abysmal embarrassment and next season that number could conceivably be 50%+ LESS. IMO, we have seen a substantial dumbing down of management across the whole club and, sadly, the consequences are plain to see. Before you can even dream about rebuilding the fan base, the fundamentals of the football club need to be right. You need an ownership that lives and breathes ambition and passion and you need a management from top to bottom that also lives and breathes ambition and passion allied to huge doses of integrity and nous. Without change, I think we are beyond withering on the vine and we are close to dying on our knees.

Will a win not merely paper over the fractures which are in danger of becoming fault lines?! You yourself have stated CHANGE is required at Ewood and I think the only way that happens is by poor results and fans voting with their feet (which they did on Tuesday). I think change is required from top to bottom including owners, exec. management and head coach. I am happy for some elongated pain and suffering if it gives us a REAL OPPORTUNITY for change. IMO, continuing with the status quo is not a viable option and anything which brings the breaking of a new dawn nearer is welcome - scraping a win or two before the season ends will not bring about any change.

I think the majority of fans want a new number 1 goalie. Under normal circumstances, a 'normal' club would have Toth in for the rest of the season, now our season is over, in order to see what he really is capable of. However, if Glen is correct about a 3 month break clause in Ismael's contract, Ismael, desperate for points to 'solidify' his position will go for what he sees as the least risk option. Tomorrow, we face a team battling for their Championship lives and on seemingly a decent run, unbeaten in last 5 games with 9 points added which is feckin brilliant in comparison to our 4 losses in 5 with only 1 point earned. I would be staggered with any result other than a Luton win, more so if any of our players don't fancy Ismeal next season and are presumably now aware of the alleged contractual break clause. Luton by at least 2 or 3 clear goals and if they get a couple early doors, I could see the roof really caving in.

For the longer term good of the club, we need to keep losing. A win tomorrow will merely paper over the cracks, alleviate the pressure a little on the three stooges and Ismael and allow the happy clappers to wallow in a false sense of security - 'we've turned the corner', 'give the manager time to impose his ideas' and 'let's see where we are after the August window'. IMO, it's all shite and what we need is a tsunami of pressure, publicity and events that rids us of what I think is a cancer of incompetence that is destroying our club. I hope we get hammered tomorrow and it's an embarrassment.

@chaddyrovers now reverted back to type and defending all things Rovers and indulging in absolute fantasy. Either he's stopped smelling the coffee or Waggott's bunged him a free season ticket!? I think Rovers are rotten to the core. Imo, until our owners, Waggott, Pasha, Gestede, Ismael and Lowe etc are all gone we will remain a dysfunctional, ambitionless and unholy mess. IMO, the purchase of season tickets will just elongate the misery and moribund state of our club. Each to his own but a bit of short term pain (severance of emotional attachment) is surely better than another 15 years of nonsense.

Think Parker has done a terrific job at Burnley. Started the season by hammering Luton away and then had the rug pulled from under him with a raft of key player sales. Sad to say, and we might not like it, but as a club they are now in a different stratosphere.

If correct, it is a simple no brainer - bin him now so the new man can be swiftly appointed and he has the rest of the season to weigh things up for the summer window. Issue - will leave the three stooges with a huge amount of egg splattered across their faces and we can't rely upon them to get the next appointment right after this dog's breakfast affair. Surely after all their 'due diligence' they would appoint either number 2 or 3 on their list or realise they need to up the ante to bring in a better quality replacement.

Seems like Chaddy has discovered a new coffee brand which 'refreshes the parts other coffees can't reach'! He deserves no respect. One decent spell at Barnsley and I think you will find, dissed by the fans at both Watford and WBA for reasons which should be apparent to all now. I agree. I also find his overall demeanor nauseating. His lack of passion and detachment on the touchline is so, so puzzling. I just hope to God that Glen is right.

The same reason many other folk on this site and other social media refer to sporting personalities in a 'familiar' way - simple examples, posters on here referring to Travis as 'Trav' and Buckley as 'Bucko'. There are countless others. Wee Dougie is a real canny lad. What a Sporting Director - a talent spotter supreme. If I had the money to buy Rovers he would be my first appointment.

I am not a fan of Coyle. He was terrible for Rovers but he does have a promotion to the PL with Burnley on his CV to his credit - something Ismael does not have. Have met the guy at events and he's always been pleasant. Can only take folk as you find them.

Watched the interview. Said he made 'steps towards the fans to applaud' followed by "I know my job" which seemed a put down for Bayes. Didn't see the incident so can't comment but from what I've seen of the bloke, I don't like him - more importantly, I don't trust him. You get a gut feel about folk and my stomach churns when I see / hear Ismael - IMO, he's bad news all round.

'Disappointed' Waggott? Feck me, we are mortified. Pasha - just what the feck does he know about football? Don't think he's achieved anything at all with Rovers. In any normal business, he would have been found out and sacked within 6 months. Gestede - I am seriously worried, not the gravitas you would expect from a Head of Football Operations. My God, if he becomes CEO, think it would be totally disastrous - even worse than Waggott!!! Personally, I would not employ Gestede to run a sweet shop - I think he has nothing to offer. If he turned up for a job interview with me, the interview would be finished inside 10 minutes - IMO, a vacuous individual.

Glen is right with his 'express yourselves' on Friday. Waggott, Pasha, Gestede, Caley, Talkshite, Sky can do sweet feck all about it if those attending are vociferous in their condemnation of owners and management. The condemnation needs to be loud and long even should Rovers be winning. We will rarely have a better platform than Friday night. Make the bastards squirm in embarrassment.

Absolutely right. Since Eustace left, have even turned down 2 'freebies' to watch Rovers. The desire has now all gone and that's me finished until we have new owners, a new executive management and a new manager / head coach. I still think an empty stadium is the best way to get rid of, IMO, the fools and incompetents owning / running Rovers. We need desire, burning ambition and integrity to resurrect our dying club.

Tell us one positive / improvement Ismael has made to the team? Think bottom line is he has bombed completely. Lose on Friday and his position may well be already untenable. I think he has lost both the dressing room and fans and that is one mighty scew-up after just a handful of games. How you continue to try and defend the indefensible is way beyond comprehension.

A pointless exercise in picking your 11. If you don't think our season is over then you need to pop along to Starbucks and get several Espresso shots down you to bring you to your senses. The best thing that can happen to us on Friday is Middlesborough hammer us and Ewood turns in a way not seen since the 1970's - all in front of live Sky TV. Think Middlesbrough are dark horses for the play-offs - in Conway, Azaz, Iheanacho and Whittaker (any of whom would walk into our team) they carry a real goal threat and the way our defensive solidarity has dissipated, this could get embarrassing with us shipping 3, 4 or even 5 goals without reply. Given the goal threat Middlesbrough carry, it would be utter madness to leave Tronstad out as you would like to. Got your season ticket yet? If so, hope you've used your credit card otherwise your money might just have gone down the sh1tter!
