  1. I don't think many will disagree. It's no good some fans bellyaching and then continuing to buy season tickets swallowing the, IMO, complete bullsh1t flowing out of the mouths of Pasha and Gestede. Other clubs' fans have shown how it's done and how pressure can successfully be brought to bear. Time all fans gave @glen9mullanand coalition full backing and more, otherwise it might well be 150 years and out.
  2. You would hope so but I wouldn't bet on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Let's not kid ourselves, Dolan's agent will have been a busy bee in recent weeks and maybe, just maybe, Derby is as good as it gets!
  4. Including Employers' NI, would think about Β£60k per week.
  5. and can you blame him? A manager he likes and respects and a club clearly with more ambition than Rovers who are backing their manager and making good on the promises made to him. A no brainer.
  6. It is. Surprised, thought he would have got a better move than that.
  7. Tomasz WΕ‚odarczyk reported that Legia rejected Blackburn Rovers' offer, which amounted to less than two million euros in transfer fees. Blackburn? Maybe it's even a bit too late for this question. Honestly, I don't have much to comment on here - says the defender in an interview with TVP Sport. - What is my transfer situation? I can't say anything special. I'm in Legia and I try to enjoy every moment of my life. I can confirm that I received an offer of a new contract from Legia. Everything is possible. I've been playing in Warsaw for two seasons and I'm enjoying this time. The subject is open. Steve Kapuadi joined Legia in the summer of 2023 from WisΕ‚a PΕ‚ock. So far, he has played 78 matches for the club and scored 6 goals.
  8. Even when you are told something in confidence, you can't always 'use' that information at the time owing to obvious sensitivities. I think you will find I only posted about the link to the Plymouth job once Eustace had been appointed Derby manager even though I knew about the link back in January - interestingly, I don't recall one challenge to the post at the time. I have not said "sorry not saying who told me" but did say 'I was not going to name him' for obvious reasons that anyone with an ounce of intelligence should understand!
  9. Yep! You really don't understand journalism or have a clue how it works do you? Do you really think John Eustace applying for a job at another club merited publishing a story in a serious publication? Maybe there would have been a story if it had been Pep, Klopp, Arteta etc Did you see reports anywhere about the other jobs we are given to understand Eustace was interested in (Coventry, PNE, Stoke, WBA)? There are a number on this MB who pick things up from various sources who posted about Eustace applying for other jobs There is a plethora of behind-the-scene activities and matters in a football club at any one time with very few of these seeing the light of day in media/press for various reasons. Even at a local level, Bayes and, to a lesser degree, Jackson will have a knowledge of the many behind-the-scene activities and matters at Rovers but you will not see these in the LT or aired on BBC Lancashire, again for various reasons.
  10. The Plymouth one is not bullsh1t! I posted about it before when all the stuff was going on about Eustace. I am not going to name the respected journalist who told me this but if you knew his identity then you would not be so dismissive. By the way, did you ever track down Dyche in La Manga where you claimed him to be at the same time he passed me by in Brockhall!?!?
  11. I am told he even applied for the Plymouth job when Rooney left - if correct, and the source is a respected journalist, that does not align to moving for family reasons!
  12. That's us out the running then! Trying to think of the last time Rovers signed a player when there were other clubs in for him?
  13. Best move for the lad is out of Rovers permanently and get back what we can for him. Totally bizarre - seen him play twice and left with multiple lacerations following feverish head scratching. The lads not got it. With 70+ appearances with Crewe and at 21 should be showing so much more. Bombed on loan at Cambridge - says it all. Posted on here before, told Eustace didn't fancy him at all.
  14. Well there we go, Derby signing Patrick Agyemang will take their spending to over Β£4million with 2 months of the window left! Is Poku proven at Championship level you ask. Are De Neve and Tavares proven at Championship level? I would bet my house that of those 3 players Poku will have by far the biggest impact this season. Scouts - so what??? We signed Brian Kidd from Man U as manager and he proved shite and we signed David Goodwillie from Dundee United and he was also shite so haven't a feckin clue where you are coming from on our newly 'signed scouts'. and he's just about to sign Agyemang from MLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You really must be having a bad day at the office Chaddy! Read that his senior record is 1 goal in 2.5 games (almost 20 goals in a Championship season!!!) Think Agyemang and Morris will be a real handful for defences - a partnership with a great physical presence. Miles better than anything we have or even likely to have. Why is it you rubbish all players other Championship clubs sign but 'big up' the rubbish Rovers sign!?!?
  15. Morris reported in places as £1.7million. Obviously, Batth and Weimann free and low hanging fruit. I'll wager a pound to a penny that they pay no less than £5million in fees this win̈dow which almost certainly outstrips Rovers.
  16. Won't necessarily disagree but don't you first have to have a solid foundation. Appointed Rovers' manager in Feb. and kept us up. Put a foundation in place for his first full season and I'm certain if club had backed him in last window then we would have seen a more 'ambitious' approach . Exactly same happened/happening at Derby. Come Jan. 2026, if he has Derby at that point where he had Rovers, pretty certain he'll get the backing he deserves. A pragmatic manager who has got results when really up against it. To me, the future is bright for Derby
  17. A staggering opinion - had to double check that it wasn't a Chaddy posting. Would be equally staggered if more than 10% share your opinion. Spot on.
  18. For clarity @RevidgeBlue, had commented upon the fantasy pursuit of Kapuadi and then @Nealposted about Poku to QPR. Followed up with post to state that 3 very decent and proven players had gone to Championship clubs for very modest investments.
  19. So why the feck are Rovers indulging in this fantasy shite?! What's more, LT publish it. Little wonder Chaddy and his mates may well have wet dreams!
  20. Put a cheeky offer in this morning for the missus' dream house. Offered half the selling price up front with a 50% sell-on for profit over my offer price. Not holding my breath!
  21. Add Randell to Bristol City for cΒ£700k and Phillips to WBA for Β£1million and that's 3 very decent and proven players for Β£2.7million. The players are out there but we simply aren't even prepared to modestly invest. IMO, a totally useless feckin shambles with neither hope nor ambition.
  22. Nailed it. All for the likes of Chaddy. So by that token with Brittain, Travis, Tronstad and Hyam all with just 12 months left on their contract you would expect Rovers to accept derisory offers? The lad is going to have a number of clubs chasing him - Wolves, Union Berlin and Strasbourg are just 3 I've seen mentioned. He might fit the bill but I think it's almost zero chance of happening. Sadly Chaddy, like many other Rovers' fans, you swallow hook, line and sinker the, IMO, bullsh1t flowing from Ewood. "Another money signing possible and they seem to be backing Ismael with some money" - it's crap and tiddly winks!!! Our market is not Sagnan, Nade or Kapuadi but cheap, cheerful and unproven signings like De Neve and Tavares with low up front fees and inflated add-ons that most likely will never happen. Wake up and smell the coffee as I think the likes of you are being conned big time.
  23. A tough start and a tough finish to what increasingly looks like being one feckin hellish season. Not seen any relegation odds for Championship yet but think Rovers and Sheff Wed will make a tasty and profitable double!
  24. Very bad news if correct. To miss 4 of the 6 weeks pre season means the lad wont be ready for the start of the season and he could be trying to play catch-up for months to come. These things happen but we seem to suffer more than most with injuries - think our once much vaunted sports science / medical department has been dumbed down, like all areas in the club, beyond recognition. There's always a price to pay.
  25. Quiet and depressing. Seen reported half a dozen or so Academy lads training with 1st team - Ismael must be gutted. Scores on the doors from last season: 'Gone': Dolan, Batth, Weimann, Beck, ACD (5) 'Going': Travis (90% probability), Brittain (90% probability) and Tronstad & Hyam (50/50) In: De Neve, Tavares (2) So that's 5 seniors (4 of which good/steady Championship performers) out the door with another 4 in the 'revolving door'. Neither of our 2 signings have pulled up trees at their previous clubs and highly unlikely to hit the ground running - 2 big risks. To coin an advertising slogan - 'the future's bleak, the future's black' !
