Nathan Jones followed by Russell Martin - God strewth. Think the lunatics are in charge of the asylum!
-
The Hull game really sticks in my throat. We'd just mullered Huddersfield in the 2nd half to come back from 2 down to almost win it so JDT instead of starting with the same 11 who played so superbly in that 2nd half at Huddersfield (as most managers would) totally fecked it up with his selections and tactics. JDT has a lot to answer for in those last 10 games with his selections and tactics - found wanting when it really mattered. You are absolutely right about the players though - not enough leaders or 'scumbags' who would instill some spine and bottle into the others.
-
Margins in football between success andthe 'also rans' are fine - Coventry are in the final and may well end up in the PL; we aren't - it's that simple.
-
It is - no one to blame but ourselves because we fecked everything up so badly including the transfer window. I think everyone at Rovers should hang their head in shame. Robins and Edwards have done terrific jobs at those two clubs. Their teams are well organised, hungry, physical and aggressive. What's more they have bottle. They are everything we aren't. Rovers' position is indefensible. Fed up of reading crap that we are punching above our weight, we can't compete financially - it's all sh1te. We are almost a shambles from top to bottom and that's why we've fecked it up so badly this season. There are no excuses. It's just the simple truth of the matter.

They feckin must be to have appointed Nathan Jones! As for Russell Martin - I think the lunatics have really taken over if they appoint him. I'd give it to Coyley before him! I

He is a wanker - pity we don't have one or two of those in our ranks to give us an edge.
-
You are right. We had a great chance this season and fecked it up so badly.

Terrific post!

You exude confidence in what you post often dismissing the content of other members' postings - all I'm suggesting is that you put your money where your mouth is if you are so confident in what you say; what could you lose?

We will see. £50 says either Potter or Rodgers at Southampton. Are you on?

It is not one man. However, the one man who makes the team selections and sets the tactics is the manager and in my opinion he's got it so badly wrong at times over the last 10 matches. You look how we played in the first half at Huddersfield and Millwall today and how well we then played in the second half of those matches when personnel and tactics were changed at half time. So galling one more point would have done the trick. Yes we all know about Waggott, Broughton and Venky's but I think JDT screwed up badly over the last 10 games and a glorious opportunity has been lost - for this the buck stops with him. -

Not at all. However, IMO, JDT has simply not made best use of what he has had available. Too many wrong selections, wrong starting line-ups and wrong tactics. After that superb 2nd half effort at Huddersfield, what he did for the next game at home to Hull which we only drew and has proved so costly was absolutely scandalous. That is just one example. -

Gutted - I feel horrible. One man is to blame and that is our manager who over the last 10 games has got his team selections and tactics so, so wrong. Some of our first half performances have been woeful due to JDT screwing up his selections and tactics. IMO, the brutal truth is JDT hasn't got what it takes when it comes down to the real business. Seems like Dack is off and we need many more to follow him - too many with no bottle and simply not good enough. -

Get your money on us. That disallowed Millwall goal was a change in our luck. My heart is now saying it's game on! Keep dreaming! -

Think it's going to be a horrible day for us. Head says it wont work out for us today and even the heart has given up hope today. I just hope I'm wrong. -
Jon Dahl Tomasson - Sweden coach

We should have started yesterday with Thomas and Leonard instead of Diaz and Dolan. Why keep selecting an, IMO, 'a can't be arsed' Diaz and a 'schoolboy masquerading as a headless chicken' Dolan. It's tantamount to insanity. When Dack came on, IMO, he looked fecked and I think he's finished at Rovers and quite possibly at Championship level. I don't think JDT has any legitimate excuses when he continually fails to to best use the tools at his disposal. -

Or better still, two! An attacking intent is the best form of defence. -

Successful teams all have excellent captains - Liverpool (Souness), Man U (Keane), Arsenal (Adams), Rovers PL winners (Sherwood). They make a huge difference both on and half the field. Just one example. IMO, Brereton has needed a rocket up his arse and there is no way in the world the likes of Souey, Keane, Adams or Sherwood would have allowed him to saunter about like he's done in most games since Christmas. We need players metaphorically who will lie down and die for the cause. That comes from the manager and captain. To say it's like a feckin holiday camp is probably a bit OTT but you surely get my drift. -

Absolutely gutted. Another glorious opportunity this season flushed down the sh1tter. Not a cat in hell's chance Rovers win at Millwall let alone other results go our way. It's over. You just know JDT will start with the same team of, IMO, half arsed, useless bottlers. Had loads of disappointments following Rovers over the decades but to go out with a whimper like we have done in recent games is beyond the feckin pale. Not sure I can forgive Broughton and JDT for screwing up so badly. -
