  1. I've got feckin passion and desire by the bucket load!!! It's just a shame, IMO, JDT and his bottlers don't. Belief in our club?!?! Difficult when you have, IMO, muppets like Waggott and Broughton running things. The bottom line is the failure of Broughton to bring in a striker over two windows to score goals has very likely cost our club circa £250million (promotion and parachute payments should we have got relegated)!!! Let that sink in. The failure to get the paperwork right to bring O'Brien in as the window closed was yet another nail in the coffin. Waggott and Broughton are paid big bucks to get things right and make sure things happen as they should - no excuses, the buck stops with them. Personally, I wouldn't trust them to run a bath. Belief in our club??? You are surely having a laugh.
  2. JDT has done a good job given all circumstances. However, come the business end of the season, he has, IMO, froze and tried to play it 'safe' - a timid approach was not what was needed and he's shown when push comes to shove that he hasn't got the minerals. JDT needed to be BOLD AND BRAVE IN HIS SELECTIONS AND TACTICS - he has failed. You wont like this because in your eyes no one at Rovers can do any wrong and you continually try to defend the utterly indefensible. Coventry and Sunderland are the form teams in 5th and 6th and there they will stay. Are they better than us, no but their managers have made the right calls at the right time. We might never have a better chance than we had this season - we just needed to grab it by the feckin balls instead of being timid and capitulating.
  3. Not a snowballs's chance in hell of us avoiding defeat let alone winning. Our season is over. JDT's selections and tactics over recent games have cost us big time. When it mattered the most, JDT failed to deliver. Too timid with no b#lls. Just how the feck you can exclude our most natural available goal scorer (Leonard) from even the bench after two promising cameos defies logic. Seriously think JDT hasn't got what it needs to get us up.
  4. My missus is not amused. That's me done for tonight. Get p1ssed everyone - it will null the pain at least for tonight.
  5. Really? We were abysmal first half. A game lasts 90 minutes plus stoppage! Always optimistic where Rovers concerned but seriously, our season is over.
  6. Feck, feck, feck, fecking sick. JDT couldn't run a bath. Hedges you imbecile - brainless. We are finished for the season. Hugely disappointing - going out for dinner and need to get smashed tonight.
  7. Shoot, shoot just feckin shoot - please, please, please!
  8. made for a Dacky entrance and winner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. There is no way in this world Fergie would have started with today's front three and left out a natural goal scorer completely. It's not rocket science. It's just sheer feckin madness and incompetence.
  10. Get Dack on and tell him not to move from in or around the penalty area. We need someone with a goal antennae. JDT failing his big test miserably. Cometh the hour cometh the man - where the feck is he!?!?
  11. JDT's selection and tactics sh1te. Travis and Dolan utter sh1te. Our season is fizzling out. Will need a real heavy session tonight to get over the disappointment if JDT doesn't get his finger out and shake things up.
  12. This is cr@p. It aint working. We wont score with this set-up.
  13. Strikers need to be in the right place at the right time. Leonard has it. Dolan doesn't. Absolutely feckin crazy sh1t from JDT.
  14. Leonard not even on bench. Unbelievable when our most natural available goalscorer is excluded. Management of Leonard now reminiscent of Adam Wharton. If this goes t1ts up JDT, it's all down to you.
  15. Heart ruling head here! Plonked winnings from early Thirsk Winner (Sergeant Wilko) on two Rovers' bets, win at 2/1 and 3-1 scoreline at 28/1. Don't let me down lads - turn up today and give them hell!
  16. For me: Kaminski in goal - Pears improved but Kaminski more likely to make those key saves. Defence picks itself injuries apart. Expect JRC to start (looked more of a fatigue issue). Hope Pickering back as Brittain dire the other night and looked to have tweaked his hammy. Midfield - would go with Travis, Wharton and Morton who dominated against Huddersfield. We need 3 in there. Up front - we need goals and that HAS to mean Leonard. It's clear the lad has an eye and a nose for goal and it's also about being in the right place at the right time. Think Gallagher's season is over the way he pulled up - that was not a mere tweak. As for Brereton, don't care if I don't see him again -won't be missed. PNE start favourites and we need to go at them from the start all guns blazing and seize the initiative. How we perform will all be down to JDT's selections and tactics. If bold and brave we WIN, if timid and safe then our season's over.
  17. Pretty tame. Lot of fuss about nothing really.
  18. I'd be delighted if our Lowe (David) was also absent from the touchline permanently for Rovers!!!
  19. Head says we will get absolutely slaughtered. End of.
  20. Him and Lowe make a right pair - I think there are two villages out there looking for their lost idiot!
  21. A devastating but not unsurprising finish. JDT's game management was appalling tonight. When he took Adam Wharton off with only minutes to go, it changed the game. 2 or 3 up then I get it but finely poised then no chance. Our substitutions just made everything worse. Just wtf does Morton offer? Dolan was like a schoolboy and totally lost. Brittain was sh1te tonight as was Brereton. Brereton should not play for us again. I think he's half arsed (caught unnecessarily offside which gave Coventry opportunity to get in our half and get a corner which led to our goal), concedes stupid and petulant fouls and looks a very poor player. Being saying for weeks that Adam Wharton must start games - I would suggest our play off place would already have been secured if, IMO, JDT had not p1ssed about with the lad. Gallagher injured and likely to miss the rest of the season - Leonard HAS to start, can he really offer any less than Brereton and Dolan!? I don't blame the ref nor linesman for not spotting the handball - even on TV it was a difficult one. They should have ended up with 10 men as indeed should we (lucky man there Travis). No doubt we are up against it now - reminds me a little bit of the final matches in 1991/92 season and we know how that season finished. One can only live in hope. Tonight was devastatingly disappointing but at least the curry and wine were spot on!
  22. What a wonderful midfielder Adam Wharton is. A marvellous control of the ball. He will one day run England's midfield. One of life's great mysteries as to why JDT has p1ssed him about. He might just get us into the PL THIS SEASON .
  23. Which Rovers' lot will turn up tonight - hungry young men and men of steel or the 'bottling boys' who wilt at the merest whiff of pressure? Heart, as always, says Rovers, head says Coventry by at least a goal. Stuck money on Coventry at slightly better than 2/1 so there will be at least some consolation should we lose. Tired of saying it - Adam Wharton MUST start as MUST Leonard. Pretty certain JDT will bottle it and keep at least Leonard on the bench if not both. Fortune favours the brave and from what I've seen these two lads don't harbour fear and are Rovers through and through - don't be an imbecile JDT and cut these lads loose, give them their heads and tell them to fire us to the play-offs. Going to be a long night, sadly, I don't think it's going to be a happy one and JDT will face a flurry of brickbats over selection and tactics in recent games which have cost us so very, very dearly.
