Aggers "To match our Barcelonaesque style on the pitch we are avoiding placing a corporate sponsor on the front of the shirt, just like the Blaugrana did prior to 2006. We feel we do not need the shirt sponsorship as sales of season tickets have topped the 38,000 mark, which Venky's, my little cuddly stevie and the owners are happy about"

We should stop calling them "the owners" and call them "the owned".

Rumour has it a sacking was odds on earlier today but Mrs D managed to convince Kean to keep her on.

Does Dunn actively try to look like a vagrant or is it just a general lack of personal hygiene?

Looks like he would stink if you stood downwind of him.

Great marketing though - put a fat lad in a shirt too small for him and use the current boo-boy, a couple of weeks after he intentionally wound up the majority of Rovers fans.

What's the excuse going to be this year why we didn't arrange a sponsor?

Another 'charitable' donation?

I have been told bet365 is going to be our sponsor and the away kit GREEN, The source seems pretty confident!!!

On another note, someone sugeested last night that we should perhaps have our own Blue and White shirts done for next season, and refuse to buy the new kit to cut off another supply to venkys

It is green.

Kean's Celtic influence?

Probably. Is it hoops?

Then again it's possibly a tribute to Plymouth Argyle - who we'll be playing before long at this rate.

I like the new kit, wot be buying until they sack Kean. In fact I'll not be buying anything from the club shop until that point.

I look forward to seeing the blue and white Picket Line metal bin, endorsed by Hughesy, which will surely become a best seller. "the perfect gift to help you fall out with your fellow Rovers fan. Ideal for those cold winter evenings in December at home on a Tuesday in the snow against Yeovil Town. Comes with a letter of approval personally signed by Keano and Aggers."

We play in blue and white and have an association with Red/Black or Yellow (I know we have had the odd coloured away kit over the years) BUT GREEN ???????

.....Sure as I am this day we are the masters of our own fate that the task which has been set before us is not above our strength; that its pangs and toils are not beyond our endurance. As long as we have faith in our cause and an unconquerable will to win, victory will not be denied us.....

Its a nice enough shirt , bit safe in some respects. Too dear at 43 for one season. The release of it however is another PR car crash, shoved under the radar, released a week after relegation using terrible photos of one of the clubs most disliked players and a fat lad. Be very interesting to see how many they shift in tbe first week.

Green could be interesting, depending on what shade they choose. Hopefully a nice bright green or a reserved green like Sporting Lisbon's kit.

I always think the away kit should be halves like the home kit personally. thought the 2007/08 home and away shirts have been the better ones of recent times.

I think last seasons away shirt was the worst since that orange and grey one we had in 1997

I thought last seasons was decent enough, was almost identical to one we had under Asics, that was a 3rd shirt though if I remember correctly.

Was the decision to move to 'halves' rather than 'quarter' ever explained? I wouldn't be surprised if it was unintentional last season and just slipped through the net until it was too late to go back on the design.

I agree - dont want a dark green or a green like Plymouths.

Bright green maybe, or mint green with black.
