  1. Past hour
  2. Would he really? does that not depends on form and injuries surely. If I was Moyes I would be deffo looking at buying Cresswell. Big strong centre half
  3. I agree we need get this sorted soon. Don't know much about the player either Sheffield United wants to buy him for £6m He did his Rovers story earlier 3 days earlier which was Steve Kapuadi bid from Rovers. very strange move and I thought he wanted a move back to Belgium. Would I take him back here? No I wouldn't. Do Stoke have money to spend and pay what Spurs which was reported that Sheffield United are willing to buy him for £6m. Frank wants to keep him
  4. Guys anyone who wants Textor is mad. I must be into BDSM without knowing because outside of Blackburn I am a Lyon supporter. Textor has miss managed the club. Drastically and has repeatedly sold assets off from the club and has priorities Botafogo consistently over any other. I would very much rather Venkys any day over Textor and that is saying something
  5. if they wanted to recoup their losses why do they keep wrecking the promotion drive in january???,they would definately recoup their outlay if we did get in the premier league, though no doubt they`de take all the money and leave us with nothing,a la the oystons at blackpool i think it`s a case of indian pride, they can`t face the fact that it`s all been a failure, they bought into something they did`nt understand and were ripped off by that vile crook anderson,if they offload the club now at a loss,it`s an admission of failure, they`ll lose face in front of all their business partners, reputation and status is very important in india
  6. why? He is really fit and right to own our football club given his problems at Lyon and now relegated to Ligue 2? Investors threaten Lyon football club owner John Textor with legal action Lyon owner John Textor accused of ‘lack of understanding’ of French football’s rules amid relegation dispute - The Athletic
  7. we unfortunately have a lot of brainwashed fans, personally i`de take the absolute lowest position we could have if it got rid of the chicken sadists
  8. And yet some think we wouldn’t be better off with our (amazing) owners. Says it all really, doesn’t it?🙄
  9. Today
  10. Or he chose the wrong club to go to.
  11. The talk i saw from Stoke fans was that they would love to have him back in any capacity if possible, but there was no way on earth they could afford him "our primary target has to be replacing him with another behemoth, either permanent or on loan. Without that Phillips replacement, we're gonna leak goals like an incontinent pensioner." "Good CB and big career ahaead. Good luck to him. Seemed he cared when he was here to. Which i like." "Would love to see Phillips back next season as he was the stand out defender last season IMO. Can’t see it happening though, however would hate to see him team up with Souttar at Sheff Utd as we’d be looking on thinking of what might have been."
  12. stoke did`nt think phillips was worth putting a bid in and they usually spend in the off season, not going to be the star that was claimed is he
  13. People were talking about this lad being a generational talent before he left us. Clearly not even close.
  14. Bit of window dressing going on with this move.
  15. A brilliant performance by the Celtic fan.
  16. Well thankfully Rod Stewart can still sing, I was worried it could be another Diana Ross shambles. 80yrs old and rocking the place.
  17. Kaminski for the price we got Walhstedt and Toth. Nice one.
  18. LT has an interview with Fosu-Mensah, talking about looking for a new club after sitting out for a year. Pretty sure we were linked when he left Leverkusen last year, so perhaps a hint of interest? Especially if Kapuadi is going nowhere. I always rated him but his injury record is terrible, though that might mean he'd take a low wage to get back into game.
  19. I’d go with 3 but wouldn’t be surprised by 4. I’d go with 3 (I think they’re a text book example of the sunk cost fallacy) but wouldn’t be at all surprised by 4.
  20. Charlton another club been through the mire and now emerging the other side.
  21. Which is the most likely scenario for not selling and therefore carrying of funding silly amounts to keep the club afloat? 1. We want revenge for the snowball 2. it’s the only thing we haven’t succeeded at. 3. We believe we will eventually recoup our losses. 4. We are hiding something.
  22. In 2013- 2014… £6.6 million payments were made to achieve player disposals £6.2 million provision was made for onerous player contracts £3.2 million impairment of player registration values was made. That’s £16 million of losses ‘just like that’.
  23. Or also hypothetically if some who were involved in the sale process and running of the club from the very beginning managed to wangle a clause they're entitled to X amount should the club be sold on....
  24. Obviously settled down South so won't have to move far if at all. Unlike the ambitionless Venky Rovers Charlton might fancy trying to do a Luton or an Ipswich.
  25. It is. Surprised, thought he would have got a better move than that.
  26. Purely Hypothetical, but it a prospective buyer approaches the owners, and did look at the books and found liabilities still existed from 15 years ago, would that either put them off buying or put the owners off admitting to this? There is a reason they keep on saying, we are not Interested in selling and that would be more credible then their version, which seems to be, we want to get back to the premier league and make a success of this project.
  27. I think the Best deal alone cost the club about 10 million, chuck in the rest and that's another 20 million and there's way more than that lot. So it should not surprise anyone if the club is still paying off some of that dross.
