  1. Past hour
  2. That seems a sensible appointment. Many clubs use ex-players in that position. I think Lescott does it at City. A number of former players have taken up roles at Ewood when their playing days have ended and its usually worked out well.
  3. Says 24th June, hadn't even returned for preseason training then had they? Would have already happened surely.
  4. Amazing!! Our captain!! Should be anyway- where are these quotes from, post transfer window discussions?
  5. Yes. I like it but I hope he’s not forced out because of it, but doesn't he want to leave and go back to his home country?
  6. Good man sondre exactly what Iv been asking for - as a player confirming all isn’t as it seems but doesn’t go into detail but gives enough to fans respect
  7. Good!!! Time for the brave to put their heads above the parapet.
  8. These quotes real? Won’t go down well!
  9. Ah so it wasn't to save 30 minutes on his commute then? Almost as though that was another lie made up by the regime and their defenders.
  10. Clean out your locker Sondre. You've broken the rules and spoken out. Off to Derby you pop son.
  11. Only thing Rhodes should be doing here is working day and night with Gueye.
  12. He was excellent in that season under JDT. Deservedly won player of the season.
  13. My own personal nickname for him at times was Cryam, and that’s probably harsh but he certainly would point fingers at others and through is toys out the pram at times. Telling the crowd to calm down also an unforgivable thing to do. His form in the run up to the 7th finish under JDT was typical of this. That said, whilst I think they may have overpaid - Wrexham are getting an established championship player with a good injury record. We are relying on two who aren’t that yet, and it’s a gamble I would never have taken.
  14. He's head groundsman, Suhail reckons he can save money on a sprinkler
  15. Any other roles that ex-players could take over? El-Hadji Diouf would be excellent as Head of PR.
  16. They've never left, just faded into the background for a while. Now they're out in full focus again.
  17. You've just started the ball rolling
  18. Today
  19. How many players have we even got out on loan currently? It could actually be a useful role for us if it's an area we look to grow, not sure what makes Rhodes qualified for the role though like, suppose he will have reasonable contacts within the game.
  20. So Jordan Rhodes is to look after and develop loan Players? Which loan players?
  21. https://www.smallheathalliance.com/read.php?1,3868918 https://www.otib.co.uk/topic/224605-taylor-gardner-hickman-what-is-he-good-at/ Here are some opinions on TGH. There is certainly a theme. No one seems to think that he at the time was ready or going to really establish himself, described as bit of a "meh" player, doesnt grab games by the scruff of the neck or impose himself. . Equally, not many dont think he is at least decent. He seems to be popular for his work rate and versatility, but incapable of nailing down a position, especially in midfield. Has energy, ok technically, and the idea that he was the best of a bad bunch at set pieces which considering how bad our set pieces are, would actually be an improvement here. I have seen him play before and he has never stood out. Our midfield situation is a bit of a puzzle. Tronstad has been left isolated this season with Tavares next to him who I think most of us are unconvinced by. Baradji was the one they seemed to want to make a song and dance about but is injured so it means nothing. So I think there is a chance there for TGH to start v Watford and try and nail an uncertain position but its something hes failed to do at any of his previous clubs. I also wonder who would sit if Tronstad got injured. The others all seem similar types. Of course, midfield questions have obviously been blown out of the water by the centre back situation.
  22. The melee of short-term non-league loans haven't been launched yet. Are the club keeping a stable U21s this year, favouring quality over quantity with loans, or is all that coming soon?
  23. And Owen, who worked with Kean at Hibs…
