Boycott Or Not?
speedies gonna get ya. replied to BRFCS.com's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Keep pushing the NAPM. A protest march soon. Also working on a way of current season ticket holders easily contacting club to tell them they will not renew next year. We have considered in ground stuff but it has been tried and failed so many times. No enough will do it if its red card, or dont take seat until 18th min etc. It then gives impression most are satisfied. The press will be our best avenue and we are continuing to make valuable contacts. Proving difficult to get the press attention in India but we have a few ideas. So if you are reading this Suhail, Pasha and Rudy, we are not going away. Ps Suhail, I hope your next shite is a hedgehog. -

Should have hit it first time - hard, low, on target. Ball can go anywhere then. Instead he stopped, cut back onto his weaker foot and blazed it over the bar. -

Yeah but there's no actual squad planning going on. Switch to a 3-5-2 mid-season so we can't use Ribeiro and Pickering. Switch back to a 4-2-3-1 and can't say no to Cashin - so we can't use Ribeiro and Pickering. Just bonkers. -

We've just spent (allegedly) £3m on you, pal. You'd better score an unchallenged header from 6 yards out. Especially when you've done fuck all for the other 97 minutes. -
Yes apparently this season is 'complicated' according to Val. I think you've summarised the situation pretty succinctly here.

Just got back. What a dispiriting game that was. Two very average teams separated by the one real scoring chance of the game. It just shows what a really poor league this is if Hull are in the play offs. Toth 6 , hardly had a save to make. He didn’t look great at corners. I see we parked Cantwell up field to pull two defenders back with him at corners. Good idea. Alebiosu 7, our one real danger man. He had Miller on toast until he got injured making that shot were he nearly scored. Top class save there. Most of our threat went with him at half time. O’Riordam 6, ok, didn’t do much wrong and didn’t look out of place. McCloughlin 6, ditto. Cashin 7, He reminded me of John Bray. To beat him you have to run around him, and it’s a long way around. He had a really good game for me. Tronstad 7, the usual performance. Busy and always putting in a tackle. Forshaw 6, ok but not very mobile. Having said that would they have scored if he’d have still been on ? Cantwell 7, I’d have given him 8 but for the poor dead ball kicks. I thought he was our best player. Always showing for the ball no matter how closely he was marked. Morishita 6, worked hard and showed some neat touches. Ohashi 6, ran all over the front line but the minute he’s had to play have blunted him. It was significant that our overall energy levels dropped once him and Morishita had to go off. Jorgensen 5, the only thing I can remember him doing was his the header over the bar. I can’t figure out what he is. Not tricky enough for the wing, not physical enough to lead the line. Strange signing. Subs Baradji 7, at least he looks like a footballer. Nice touch on the ball and he can see a pass. Miller 6, not an attacking player in a million years. Not entirely his fault. DeNeve 4, that incident where he ran the ball into touch behind the goal summed him up. Way out of his depth. -

Could imagine a scenario where we will sell someone like Alebiosu to pay for the sacking as he still has over TWO YEARS left on his deal 😂 -
What other protest ideas have you got lined up? Need to keep the pressure on.

Think Portsmouth and Charlton will drop back in, and a points deduction for Leicester would be another one.

He looked ok in a front 2 alongside Ohashi, on the shoulder of the last man, he has so far offered little from wide areas, and cant see him working as a lone striker I still think the switch back to a 4-2-3-1 has been mistimed given we have a glut of centre backs, no actual wingers (Jorgensen & Morishita are better centrally and De Neve offers nothing) , and now have 3 fit strikers. I think we would have been better suited spending the window finding some wing backs and going all in on 3-5-2 -

Early days, but getting Grabbi vibes off Jorgensen. Doesn't really look like what we need at all. Needed a goal scorer but looks like he might be a fairly ineffective non scoring wide man. Not cheap by our standards at all either. -

No I said a third of our history, not the third time in our history. To my memory we will have been down there 6 seasons? Might be 4 or 5 in which case it's worse. -

I suppose if we have any real hopes of remaining in this league then we have to roll the dice and sack the manager now. It's not going well for Val and it doesn't look like that's about to change anytime soon. Maybe there's no manager on earth who could save this ragtag bunch, but we may as well try. If we wait any longer we could be cut adrift at which point it will be too late. Unfortunately, I suspect saving some money on Val's severance payout is more of a priority than anything on the pitch. -

You've got to give VI credit. He's consistent. He can bomb without trace with either a half decent squad another guy had in 6th or 7th,or with a substandard squad he's filled with assorted Euro trash of his own choosing. All the same to him. He's not fussy. -

I know it's been said a million times before on here but it can't be repeated often enough. Who'd have thought driving out a manager with a very good recent track record who had you in 7th and replacing him with a Head Coach with a very poor recent track record everywhere he's been and replacing your best players with cheap Eurotrash would end in tears? Strange one really. -

Absolutely agree. Every pint, pie and bag of chips purchased by a season ticket holder still helps them. I do not want to hear about sodexo and contracts etc. It all has an effect. Season ticket renewals will be the acid test. Anyone who thinks it is about results is really not paying attention. It is about the systematic slow death of the club. You are nothing special by supporting "through thick and thin".You are essentially a Pasha and Rao enabler. I miss my club, I want it back. I would buy 5 season tickets tomorrow in leauge 2 under new ownership. Taken me a long time to get here. For years I thought I am not letting them take Rovers away from me. They already have whether I go or not. I want us to take the club back by taking Rovers away from them. This will only be done by NAPM. -

The atmosphere at Ewood has been poor for many years. It was hardly Leeds at the best of times but there's been nowt to shout about for a long, long time. I'm not an optimist, but I anticipate there'll be nowt to shout about for many years to come. Things will keep getting worse for Blackburn Rovers until one day they don't.
