The derby obsession stuff is extremely strange. They don’t care about us but because they took our manager and Eustace wanted to sign players who did well for him it’s a massive rival now. Tinpot and makes us look an odd bunch. I would prefer the spotlight to be on the owners + Suhail.

Hedges has played well in the last couple of games but the cynic in me says that it's no coincidence after reports of us looking for competition on the right hand side emerged. His position is under threat, but unless we do something in the next 24 hours, he might be sitting comfortably in the starting line-up which is never healthy.

Emil Riis and Windass both available for free should have tried for them imo. Riis not doing too bad at Bristol city

Carter like Buckley seems to have absolutely fallen off a cliff after being given a long term deal by Broughton. Whilst both seem to have backfired, it's about the only thing Id give Broughton any credit for, it seemed a good idea to tie both down at the time.

After an horrific start which could partly be put down to some players sulking he turned it round and did well, with Eustaces team. He is now being judged on his own team which is perfectly normal and he does have the excuse of needing to gel however they gelled alright last week then the same side looked shite for 45 mins 7 days later. So he's being judged accordingly imo and to be fair he hooked the worst of the lot at half time. It;'s where we go now that matters does he revert back to that starting line up again or shake it up. And how does he integrate the new attackers ? His biggest test is just beginning.

When we signed him, my Newport County supporting pal gave me a call and said we had got a real player. He had seen him play a couple of times against County and said he stood out as really good CH. He hasn’t been given a chance yet at Ewood but neither Carter or Wharton seem resilient or consistent performers at Championship level.

I know you shouldn't really be looking at "make do's" in the instance of Tronstad getting injured, but if it was the case, (and we don't know how long Baradji is going to be), just wonder if Miller could be be converted into a DM ? Maybe a slight exaggeration but Montgomery will never make it, Tavares has been good awful so far too, thinks he can walk through a championship game. Have you seen much from either? I don’t rate forshaw at all but at least towards the end of last season he’d come on and help us hold a lead. I wouldn’t dare bring either of the other two on to preserve a one goal lead.
