  2. Nicko: Cadamateri fee close to being agreed If others come in for him, then he's not coming here imo
  3. Wasn't all these shenanigans part of the reason for SWAG's departure?
  4. Yes. That is an absolute insboy errult in its own right, and sackable from my perspective. We are used to the term 'schoolboy error' being used for players, but such a basic inability to maintain the traditions of the club in it's 150th year smacks of both terminal incompetence and potential two fingered salutory to the fans. Bargain Basement specialists Blackburn Rovers. Bottom feeders, getting ready for the Bum's Rush. Bah!
  5. Oh this is real and yeah, I don't like Castore either tbh.
  6. Real or sarcasm? I can't stand Castore
  7. Some will no doubt... 'Wadda ya expect when there's boycotts'
  8. On that i do love the gold kit. Not liked the home kits so much last few seasons. Top 10 clubs making some good signings.. we're a million miles off. Not convinced by cadamartari.
  9. Awful designs - can't even get our iconic home kit right.
  10. Rock bottom keeps sinking lower Embarrassing
  11. It goes to show what total shite the feed us at the fans forum. Thankfully, most of the attendees are onto this now and are refusing to accept their lies and miss leading minutes. I am genuinely proud of those that do that and fight the fans corner.
  12. Going from Macron to Castore, turned down Adidas Spezial because we would get less money from the latter. More vision in Ray Charles than Pasha.
  13. Our name must be absolute dirt in the football world, whether that's dealing with our own players and staff, the deliberately bungled transfers with other clubs, suppliers and now the kit manufacturer. A complete disgrace. The Venky apologists never anywhere to be seen or heard when another shameful instalment of their ownership rears its ugly head.
  14. It was Ardiles first match for Rovers but it wasnt his last. MArker signed for Rovers a couple of seasons later.
  15. Lovely designs, crap manufacturing, sponsors fall off after 2minutes good riddance
  16. Today
  17. "At present, no further details have been revealed as to what the breach entails. Blackburn Rovers and Macron have been approached by Lancashire Telegraph for comment." https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25808819.blackburn-rovers-legal-dispute-kit-supplier-macron/ Macron have registered a court filing against Blackburn Rovers for a breach of contract. The Italian Sportswear giant are the club's current kit manufacturer and have been since a five-year deal was struck in 2021. That deal expires this summer and Rovers are anticipated to change suppliers when their current agreement ends. On January 28, Macron filed a court application against Blackburn Rovers due to a 'breach of contract', as is listed by a document seen by Lancashire Telegraph. It has long been expected that the two parties will separate this summer. However, nothing has been officially confirmed by Rovers or Macron at this stage. At the most recent Fans' Forum (October 2025), Head of Commercial, Yasir Sufi, confirmed that a tender process beyond the end of their current kit deal has been completed but wouldn't discuss further due to the existing deal with Macron. Additional comments were made that fans' views on original designs and pricing had been taken into account with their decision. At present, no further details have been revealed as to what the breach entails. Blackburn Rovers and Macron have been approached by Lancashire Telegraph for comment. Rovers' recent anniversary kits have proven popular. The 2024/25 shirts, mark 30 years since their famous Premier League title triumph, surpassing all recent sales. Speaking to Lancashire Telegraph's Arte Et Labore podcast last April, Sufi said: "Retail-wise, we've nearly doubled sales in retail from three seasons ago across the board. "Obviously, the kits have been a massive reason for that, especially with, for example, the third kit. "So just on the third kit this year, and honestly, I still get astounded by the number of people wearing it. We sold around 2,400 of the yellow third kit that we had (2023/24), which was really good, but we've tripled sales of the third kit this season on its own. "We've got a fantastic team who care a lot about the football club and want to see it progressing. So commercially, we've been strong in that area."
  18. From the current Rovers team the 'hardest' person at the club is probably Valerien Ismael 🤣 Out of the players, absolutely no idea! Perhaps Miller just because he looks like he wouldn't shy away from a boisterous person who'd get in his face. The others would probably sh*t themselves!
  19. Don't think we're exiting early, seemed widely known the contract was up for tender. Seem to recall, perhaps in forum minutes, it was said Macron had first refusal to match any other bid we received. Maybe they tried to exercise it and we signed up elsewhere, seen a few mutterings of it being Umbro via Castore next season.
  20. I think the relevant point is that when Gestede was hawking him around no Championship club appeared to want to sign him and he had to take a move to Division One. Of course that doesn't mean that he won't get back to Championship level one day but it does seem from the interest shown in Cadamarteri by ourselves and Millwall that right now he is seen in the game as the better bet of the two. Time will tell.
  21. FFS what the fuck have these clowns done now?
  22. My goodness, you would sh1t yourself if a bloke like this approached you menacingly! This guy was really, really hard. According to Alex Ferguson: McNamee threatened to "kill" Ferguson at the end of one game Ferguson dismissed the threat but "nearly fainted" when he saw McNamee waiting for him after the match Ferguson hid until the Celtic coach had departed, reflecting that he was "dealing with a monster" Says it all! So all depends upon what you mean by hard - my definition, players your opponents wouldn't want to mess with. Rovers' players I readily recall: Fergie, Knighton, McNamee, Branagan, Keeley, Speight, Batty, Shearer, Flitcroft, Todd and Mokoena. Some 'tough' competitors have been mentioned like Nicky Reid, Faz, Hendry, Moran etc but, IMO, not as 'hard' or as 'feared' as those named above. In fact recall reading an article many years ago where John Fashanu supposedly put the frighteners on Hendry in the tunnel pre match and Hendry was physched out by it.
  23. Powell has joined Barrow in League 2 until the end of the seaosn
