  1. Past hour
  2. Yep. Thatโ€™s the Rovers attitude alright. Iโ€™d prefer to think if we were in the premier league again under new owners, tickets priced sensibly then with the modern boom in football attendances and a connection with the local population, we could get back to previous levels. Think big.
  3. apart from the odd game we will never fill Ewood again
  4. Welcome to Rovers, Sidnei Looking forward to seeing what type of midfielder and why we paid the fee we have. 2 signings done now and lets hope for a couple more before the Stanley game.
  5. They never mentioned the option when Hyam signed either, telegraph say there is a year's option
  6. If not Nzonzi, how about Chris Samba? ๐Ÿ˜‚
  7. Didnโ€™t mention the Portuguese lad to be fair..
  8. They have no clue ๐Ÿคฃ Forshaw only played here for 6 months and they have him down as a defender. Must be a new starter
  9. Tavares family moved to Leicester when he was less than one year old, so heโ€™ll probably come across as more English than Portuguese. Article here.
  10. looks a big lad, hopefully more stephen nzonzi and less herold goulon๐Ÿ™‚ no idea of the fee or if he`s any good, thats the problem with the ***** running the club, they are duplicitius and sly, clubs run in a normal way try to bring in established players they have scouted,we obviously just watch a showreel and answer the phone to agents with clients
  11. I wonder if there is an option even though theyโ€™ve not said so. My reasoning - the Roverโ€™s site says: 1. An initial three years 2 Until at least 2028.
  12. Maybe it's just a positive take instead of everyone spinning a negative thought on everything.
  13. LT saying a one year option is in the contract
  14. Hopefully can prove to be a good signing and we can keep Tronstad and Travis and have some proper competition in there. Good to get him in early and hopefully more follow soon. Surprised that hes only on a 3 year deal with no option. Perhaps a small indication that the fee is indeed smaller than advertised?
  15. Cos we brought Forshaw back and added a relatively expensive (for us) midfielder. I was scathing about Forshaw resigning but if we keep Tron, Trav and add Tav then Iโ€™ll be ok with midfield in general. But history tells us thatโ€™s not how we operate.
  16. Today
  17. Whatโ€™s your point? End of the day Ewood was re-built for a club at the top of the Premier League. We will never, ever fill it completely (so say 28,000 home fans with 3k away) with our own fans week in week out even if we ended back in the top flight. The fanbase isnโ€™t big enough. So if it takes a ticket offer to do it, so what?
  18. If we're paying a fee up to 2 million, he's not being brought in to sit on the bench is he?
  19. Why are people saying Forshaw signing means Travis or Tronstad leaving? Do we not remember they were all in the same squad a month or so ago????
  20. There no way most of us are buying that they're ever going to pay anything close to 2 million. This also seems like poor journalism because I think is supposed to mean euros. We will never find out the initial fee but I refuse to believe they bought a player for over a million quid.
  21. That's the worry, midfield wasn't the priority but with 2 in 2 days, something must be afoot surely... Absolutely no idea about this lad but it's certainly a more interesting signing than Forshaw, who we know is shite already.
  22. Whenever has there ever been a โ€œplanโ€, has there fuck!
  23. Forshaw, Tavares in/ Travis, Tronstad out?
  24. I guess it comes down to whether there are three teams worse than Rovers next season. Don`t think Birmingham or Wrexham are two of them. Its not just the lack of a proper budget, its the failure to tie decent Championship players down to any reasonable contracts post Broughton. This neurotic obsession with cutting the wage bill! Whatever VI certainly has his work cut out.
  25. yeah, when in 1978 the crowd was over 27000 , not many were supporting us, things change, a few years later we won the league , ups and downs, the biggest home support i remember-after we won the league cup in 2002, against Fulham, 10 pound a ticket , we also got 26700 against Oxford, in 2018 guess what, 10 pound a ticket
