We were always 1 bad managerial appointment away from oblivion. When you throw in the worst summer business from a football club in many a year, you're well and truly on the back foot from the off. And we still have our post Xmas collapse to come.

To cheer everyone up Clitheroe beat York City in the FA Trophy today. They are mid table in tier 8, with York 4th in the National League. It's the equivalent of Fleetwood beating Chelsea.

You can see why Portsmouth have been struggling. They were very poor in the first half and we were relatively comfortable going into HT. The second half was shocking, and the worry is always that we’ll concede.

Poor, poor... Perhaps Val should delegate substitutions / tactical changes to someone else. Between the manager and flooding we are literally chucking ourselves into League 1. Really poor.

This alone should get the manager sacked. We're lucky we hit Southampton and Leicester before they got their acts together or we'd already be losing ground.

Maybe the rivalry hasn’t reached St Helens, or what it means, but that lot losing, losing well, gives me immense pleasure, regardless of the shit show at Ewood.
