  1. Past hour
  2. More than ever we need pressure on owners to sell, hope the Coalition have stuff planned after this disastrous end to transfer window. Realistically we need the Indian Gov to convict Venkys of illegal financial activity to create enough pressure on them to sell, but the never ending court case continues
  3. Yeah hes been saying that often on his podcast.
  4. I cannot believe I'm saying this, but if Hyam is out the door Rudy is much worse than Swag. At least Swag understood you can't sell the entire core of your team in one window and expect to be competitive, even if it did mean losing someone on a free in the following window. I cannot remember a time where there was such player unrest that we sold a core group. Starting to feel like last season he was told he was being replaced by Rudy but they'll pay him decent salary to do a handover. Normal corporate shit.
  5. To the people criticising Elliot Jackson, you may have missed that he's already given his opinion on the sale. That it's a "disaster" (3.01 - live updates on LT). Current updates are just him reporting facts.
  6. Suhail/Gestedes coup de grace in screwing us over would be offloading Gueye to Aberdeen before the Scottish window closes
  7. Buckley was also visibly upset, but yeah it's a tragedy
  8. People who are comparing Rudy to waggot should know they are bloody worse as each other
  9. Aside from having propper football men running the club, what theyโ€™ve done better than any other club in the efl is market their team to a global audience, increase revenue at the gate and through sponsorships and increases kit sales.
  10. He sounds quite comfortably the most emotional of the three they've got to make these goodbye videos. Makes it quite sad in the end.
  11. Voluntarily killing the club. Absolute despicable tossers.
  12. Can guarantee that's not the mood. From speaking to a few, we need to give more time and this is the first time we've 'trusted the process'. The core of the team wanted to leave (for none descript reasons) and weve done well to sell them unlike Diaz
  13. There arenโ€™t enough people in the stadium to create any atmosphere. Which is just how they want it. We had 30,000 on less than a year ago against Burnley, riding a wave of optimism. And now look. Truly, truly sad.
  14. Be more painful for us watching us get whalloped all over and paying for the privilege. They donโ€™t care, theyโ€™ll still get 15k a month in their bank from rovers, which is all they care about
  15. Iv said this for a while elliot Jackson is too nice just does his job and no more he isnโ€™t a rovers fan he just reports so itโ€™s no odds to him
  16. Well they had to get rid of maggot first to do this clear out.
  17. It really does feel like if somebody whose only experience was Football Manager was given full control of the transfer strategy. Unfortunately in real life you can't download a tactic that breaks the game engine.
  18. Honestly it's like Gestede did all his training playing Football Manager. Flogged all his high earners and thinks he's picked up some bargains on the continent. Unfortunately, this is real life and we're now screwed. Not content with just doing it as a player, he's followed it up with a doozy.
  19. Only one and a half seasons ago. January 2024. Drubbed them 4-1 even though we went 1-0 down early. Difference is they're properly ran. Their owners also came over knowing fuck all about football, but there were 2 key, massive differences, evident from the documentary: 1) They appointed good football people to run the club for them (whereas ours immediately ostracised possibly the best operator in English football at the time) 2) They gave a shit. This meant they paid attention, they learned, they had ambition. End result? Blackburn Rovers - relegated promptly, stagnated and declined. Not even reached the playoffs to take us back to where they found us, not once in 15 years of ownership despite having the basis of a proper stadium, history, training centre etc. Wrexham - 5 years of ownership, started 4 whole leagues below where we started in Venkys' reign, or 3 leagues below us when the Americans took over. Have caught us up and are now snatching our best CB on deadline day, leaving us fucked. Probably finish above us this season. Despite run-down tiny stadium, fuck all history and just being (relative to us) a tinpot outfit when they took over. Proper ownership is EVERYTHING.
  20. Weโ€™ll be in Umbro though if thatโ€™s the brand they are pushingโ€ฆnot sure if theyโ€™re made in the same factory mind you ๐Ÿ˜†
  21. You know itโ€™s bad when even Chaddy is calling it out as a shit decision!!
