  1. Past hour
  2. The only thing that matters come May is points on the board … not missed opportunities
  3. Yeah..first out the door if suitors come knocking in January.
  4. Yes , we could have a Kean situation by Xmas .
  5. 36 ish hours left of the window, and so far out of the signings in, Morishita looks a positive buy & his hotel friend Baradji (if and when available) might be the only ones who would have got into last years team. McLaughlin would have maybe been close. Time or not to settle in, there are clear and obvious comparisons to the players they have replaced. Tavares does not look like anything close to matching Travis, let alone an upgrade for example. How can any professional football club sign a player and not understand or know the extent of the injury of that player? Something feels fishy on this one…. Wonder if the agent has any link to Kentaro? Gudjohnsen will wait and see until we’ve seen him in a game (if we get it over the line) - but based on signing players from their stats theyre hardly inspiring and feel like there’s a touch of the Sam Gallaghers about what’s coming
  6. If Donny raise £750,000 in January , we will no doubt sell him !
  7. It does appear they finally have their man.
  8. Should have, would have, could have, context needed, performances good - all meaningless 3 points from 12, 1 win and 4 defeats is all that matters and if that doesn't alarm you then I think you are deluded.
  9. Correct. callum who posted above would have a good point if the players who'd come in were all established Championship players with a proven track record at this level. As it is the strategy of replacing tried and tested players with cheap foreign punts was always going to be at best an outrageous gamble and one likely to fail spectacularly. Results could of course suddenly turn round and everything could gel nicely but Id say the likelihood is they won't. As a few others have said also, one would have a little more confidence if the Head Coach had a better recent track record as well. We've let a guy who's never lasted more than about 50 games anywhere completely dismantle the squad.
  10. I said exactly the same about Kargbo, what's up with him, looks like his pace has got up and gone... Agree with all the rest, great analysis
  11. You’ve just proven my point we don’t know his situation that’s alarming in itself there shouldn’t be a grey area a player is either fit or not fit By saying that link isn’t true I haven’t spoken with the player is dismissing it gudjohnsen isn’t over the line but we need another one along with a mf
  12. I think something has happened over the Pears..rumours off a hair transplant gone wrong. Could be why we want rid now. He isnt even 3rd choice. Not warming up with Toth and Michalski yesterday
  13. This following pages of Lesley Fielding being described as a snake, too. The pertinent point that people are choosing to ignore is that competent and qualified people are thankful and/or relieved to get out of Rovers.
  14. Look at the context of the each league game. We should have a point yesterday and win against Birmingham. Would you had been complaining then. Of course not Rev. McLoughlin should have better yesterday even so second half performance was very good and we made them look poor. Should have that point today Also you got to let new signings settle in.
  15. Yeah but what about revenues? One look at the Blackburn End should set alarm bells ringing in the directors box after their needless price hike there but I think Yasir is just about to collect his bonus for increasing revenues off it.
  16. Looks a good start for O'Riordan, probably Hyam replacement for next year.
  17. Yes excuses out now we lost yesterday. Typical
  18. Add to the first game that's at least another 3k paying customers they've managed to lose over the two games combined. Never mind, the prices rises covered that !
  19. We don't know what they Baradji situation is. Ismael didn't say too much or whether he would even on surgery on the problem. He didn't dismissed Browne he said he hasn't spoken to the player himself. Gudjohnsen is here, having his medical. Possible at yesterday game but kept out of sight
  20. Pears is on more money than Toth, so they want to get him out of the club in the hope that Toth doesn't ask for parity now that he is first choice Edit - Toth was originally brought in as competition/cover, whilst Pears signed his last contract when he was first choice when Kaminski was sold, and before the court case/most recent cuts/etc
  21. If I can reply in your style: What point are you trying to make? Have we not just lost four out of five? Are you saying that's good enough? If the players are trying and well drilled now, how can we possibly expect any improvement?
  22. Last week's game was an outlier against a side ravaged with injury and illness, most sensible folk could see that.
  23. After last win, everything was rosy. Now after yesterday's loss, they team isn't well drilled. Far too early to judge our signings. Some have look good so far and some not.
  24. I understand that new signings need time to bed in. I don't think this is lost on anyone. The point is, there shouldn't be a need for this scale of the first team to be new signings who are untested at this level. Our situation is a result of the contract strategy employed by the club. At some point the fact that we sold our captain and replaced him either either a highly dubious prospect or a crocked player will dawn on people.
  25. Tbf I thought tronstad was exceptional in the second half.
  26. I wouldn't say so. Ismael just isn't very good Chaddy, you figured that out after a few games but spectacularly backtracked for some reason. Granted recruitment hasn't helped him out much replacing most of our championship experience with cheap foreign punts, but still.
