Yes and what happened in summer and what has followed since has finally provided the tipping point for thousands more after 15 years of this lot. As i said we kicked off a Championship season with only 11 thousand home fans after finishing high up the table last season. We got 11k in league 1 there should have been at least 3k more in the home sections so the red flags were there in August. -
any chance you can post it and/or a link here? Edit - is this it?

I'm not disagreeing with you over McCullum and the staff. I think our pre test series preparations like a couple of proper warm up games were wrong. I think Vaughan, Tufnell, Botham, Lloyd have slammed that decision. You can not go to Australia and not prepare correctly.

Just seen some PR on a Harry Lister - great video reel but is he any good?
-
Listen, I think there's a lot of credence in what you're saying. I just think, with different coaching, these players are probably capable of playing differently.

Comedy with Big Mak, the fact Todd says that shows what they think of him day in day out in training. -
Is ripping up again going to change things, would Pope or Duckett play different under another head coach? I'm not unsure. They played that way and I don't think they can play different. Maybe, the lack of accountability is because Stokes and McCullum think these are best 7 batsmen in county cricket and we don't have players knocking on the door. Would a Dom Sibley or Hameed been better choice than Pope. Should Bethall play even tho he hasn't even got a first class hundred? maybe we need to restructure the County Cricket to focus more on quality or quantity?
-
I think McCullum and Rob Key need to go. Stokes, I'm not so sure on- I think he's certainly one I'd keep around, but I imagine he'd end here as a test player and just focus on short forms of the game from here. What annoys me is doing the same things over and over again, despite these ways failing time and again. And the complete lack of accountability. They've messed up, regularly, just own it. Arrogant was about right tbh, either that, or the most pig-headed nature you've ever known. What stings the most for me, is that I don't think Australia have even had to hit top gear to beat us comfortably.

Team mentality? Stokes digged in and show some character. Only can do the same?

When the hardcore loyal supporters, don't want to turn up, something has to change. -
How many of the players would be better if the team’s mentality was changed? How many are just poor players ‘full stop’?
-
Nacy's nightmare just continues. What was they thinking when they appoint him?

I thought we would beat Oxford we didnt, I thought we would beat sheff utd we didnt etc. -
Where is the foot work from Pope and Duckett in their dismissal? Nothing. Crawley, Root and Brook got good deliveries but could their footwork been better? Probably in Crawley and Brook. Stokes dig in and show strength and character to fight. My biggest questions are:- 1. Are their better batsmen knocking the door in county championship? Top 3 run scores last season were Sibley, Hameed and Lees, who had their chances at Test level and failed. So are players like McKinney, Haines, Bethall ready to step up and coming for those 3? 2. Is it time to bring in James Rew as the main keeper and bat 7? Only 21, but performances like last season, surely it only time with Jamie Smith moving up the order? 3. Did we pick the right bowlers? You look at Neser and Boland playing and you asking if Sam Cook or Matthew Fisher should have been taken to Australia? 4. Why didnt we asked for minimum of 2 warm up games before the first test? What changes would you like to?. Change Captain? Change McCullum? Change which players? Can I ask anyone on here, does anyone watch any county cricket? If so, anyone stood out?

1. There plainly isn’t common ground across the whole of the fanbase - I sense it’s another Devil’s Ratio of 52:48 TBH - the Coalition is representing their constituency 2. No credible buyer will engage with fans - they’d approach the current owners, the more credible, the less we’d know of them -
Simply not good enough. Lots of changes needed all over the place tbh.

For me I hope it's a complete flop and it's like that world club thing when they had to give tickets away.
-
...... and even then screw up because of the stupid Bazball mentality. England should have won the previous Ashes series and last summer's India series but threw them away through the silly first Test declaration in the former and mindless batting in the last Test in the latter. It worked for a while and was exciting to watch but now it doesn't. McCullum should resign after this series.
-
Amateurs seem to have taken over again. Totally inadequate preparation, (they knew best) and a basic failure to understand that there are 5 days in a Test match. Feel so sorry for the thousands of England supporters now stuck with a dead series. It seems to me we can now only play at home on our wickets.

Boggan, Joseph or Tyjon in the matchdag squad. -
I agree. Crawley got a decent delivery but words fail me with Pope.
-
Stokes, McCullum and all the rest. Fuck off and don't come back.
