  1. Past hour
  2. International break coming up if he can get a training ground knock to avoid having to go to Japan. My wife is over there currently and it's a 16 hour flight avoiding conflict zones..
  3. Yuki I still in Hull arguing with whoever operates their scoreboard
  4. Today
  5. Chaddys consistent inconsistency aside, I do agree its too early to say whether VI will be a downgrade on Eustace. Eustace maybe has a few more runs on the board, but its not like VI has been a perennial failure and there's something to be said for having a manager who can function in a strange, chaotic environment. Eustace clearly couldn't and while you can argue our managers shouldn't have to, at this point its as useful as yelling at a wall. If VI is able to better manage the cretins higher up then well probably see benefits flow through to the pitch.
  6. Did you see his goal last week? Just got named to Scotland squad.
  7. I haven't seen him play, and numbers aren't everything, but this made me curious about this Bowie you two mention. 22 years old with 8 goals in 20 SPL games. Those are only really David Goodwillie numbers when he signed for us at 22, having scored 17 in 38 the season before. Minutely worse actually. Is he really all that?
  8. Are you Hibs and Rovers mate? I thought it was just me that was cursed with that. Know loads of Scottish Rovers fans, had a strong Scottish contingent through the years. Bowie is some player, btw.
  9. I didn't think he touched it myself. I was looking for it, my first thiught after we score sometimes is how is the ref gonna dis allow it. Perhaps I just missed it
  10. I saw something earlier that suggested he is keen to try his hand in England.
  11. Perhaps like the poster from Legis said it would be good for him to have a couple if weeks rest and get adjusted to new surroundings and Ismael's master plan. Then get stuck in all fresh like.
  12. Waste if a shirt and a wage. Just did not care at all.
  13. Yesterday
  14. Ismael has been very consistent in saying that we wanted one more, before sales, a right winger. Therefore I was always reasonably confident that we would get one. I am not sure if this new lad is specifically a right winger but he is an exciting addition to our attack and I am assuming that he is the winger/the 1 attacker before sales that we anticipated. We absolutely desperately need a striker but its never been mentioned by Ismael and it doesnt really align with any of the potential exits that now seemingly needs to happen. Its also hard to read into exactly what the policy is. Travis is leaving, was Baradji considered to be his replacement or was he a seperate case having initially failed a medical? Buckley was frozen out, will he be considered as someone who needs to be replacing? Will Pears? Leonard didnt even go away on tour, does he need replacing? Does the 1 in 1 out policy mean only direct replacements positionally? Could shifting a few mean that a striker is possible simply because the budget has been shifted about? I am not convinced by the likelihood of this transfer link. No way are we coming close to the fee suggested, and he seems to be strongly linked elsewhere, albeit at a much lower amount. But either way, it is of paramount importance that we bring in a striker. Its hard to predict exactly what will happen. Still lingering is the situation with Tronstad and Hyam. Considering the shrinkage of the wage budget and their subsequent increased importance, there is no excuse to not give them improved deals but it seems like its not being considered.
  15. If only Eustace could convince Venkies to follow him there
  16. 100%. Couldnt say a bad word about Tomasson until he left then regularly laid into him. Now predictably the same with Eustace. Will also only judge on results but still prefers Ismael because specfically he likes what he says in the media.
  17. Interesting that Morishitas best stats (and majority of games) have come from games where he’s been playing on the left. I’d assumed he was bought in for the right but his stats aren’t great from that side.
  18. I guess Morishita could go straight in against Norwich. In an ideal world we would want a few impact options from the bench. I guess this would give us Morishita and Gueye. Feels like we need a couple more. Another perm striker it is very good to hear we are chasing and I wonder if we will take a punt on a prem loan winger as well?
  19. Nice to be on the other side of losing your best players for a change, sorry Legia
  20. I think Ismael with be here in a year unless we are near relegation zone which I don't us being. But the most important thing is winning games. He seems to be very clear tactical what he wants. Norwich will be another testing game
  21. Read some of the other Legia fans’ comments on Twitter (i speak Polish) and they seem to be gutted that he’s leaving.
  22. What's our squad registration numbers looking like? Anyone got an updated view?
  23. A year from now, whichever manager we have will be one he prefers to Ismael. The pattern is clear to everybody but he still likes to deny it.
  24. So you would have been alright if Eustace was sacked and they hired Ismael.. guaranteed you are only saying this because Ismael is our current manager.
  25. I don't think anything has changed. They were crap owners 15 years ago and they are crap owners now.
  26. Derby were 21st when Eustace was appointed and they finished 19th. is that more impressive that what Selles did when he took over Hull who were 24th and he kept them up and finished 21st and was sacked. Derby fans don't seem impressive from what Rovers fans are retweeted on twitter from them about Eustace, Batth, Sanderson, etc. I haven't seen their games to comment or the goals they have conceded apart from Last Friday game when Batth defending was pathetic from him Of course I don't like the way he lied to the Rovers supporters after Wolves game about Derby approach and when he knew about it and that will always play a part in my opinion of him. He admitted he knew on Friday about the approach in his unveiling at Derby. Rovers should have handled it better and not allow him to be in charge of that Wolves game. We should have put him on gardening leave and if I was the CEO/owner of Rovers that exactly what I would have done. I based it results and I am encouraged by Saturday result and performance plus looking forward to our latest 2 signings playing for us. Lets see who else we sign in the next 7 days. On which one I prefer, that depends on results. If I had to pick one right now to appoint it will be Ismael based on his straight talking and being honest about the Brittain and Travis situation. But like with our head coaches is all results and winning games.
  27. And to think I was just gonna have a go at Mark's use of "reckons".......He's some hombre that Alan.
