  1. Past hour
  2. But if he wants out then he may accept I don’t think he would have been on much more tbh
  3. Yes agreed 100% it’s why I think the 2million touted by Nixon is likely to be false
  4. I don’t think Miyoshi will be £2m. Joined for £400k and didn’t play much during another relegation season. I would imagine he has a similar release clause to the one he had at Birmingham. Maybe £800k - £1m with some add ons.
  5. No I agree, 28 is a great age. I don't like the modern trend that every signing needs resale value, you need a good balance in there. I just think the club might see it differently, unless its really cheap like the McLoughlin deal.
  6. Following his relegation wage reduction, he might possibly be at that level If he wants to maintain his earnings from last season, Rovers will be probably be out of the running
  7. The club keep coming up with these hare brained schemes which will undoubtedly deter some from actually going. It's simple really - give fans a choice of using the options available. I really don't care if other clubs or organisations are wholly digital, as a club with a dwindling support they should really be understanding of this and after for everyone. I expect all kinds of problems next Saturday when we play Birmingham if the Everton friendly is anything to go by.
  8. I don’t think the 2million will be paid up front itl be stacked with add ons A lot seem to be talking about age 28 is a nice age I don’t see the problem with it (all signings cannot be with resale value) but I agree on the Nixon from the could be well off it
  9. I’d say he’s on around the 10k per week salary
  10. The more I think about Miyoshi I just don't see it happening. The fee will surely put them off for a 28 year old. I do wonder if Nixon has just plucked one because he was getting fed up of everyone asking him "who the winger is" on social media.
  11. This really does sound like a scam There is a cost of around 25K each time the case goes to court, regardless of whether it is heard, which racks up over time. lol The comments under the article however, are mind boggling, it's as though Stockholm syndrome is contagious, & reaching epidemic levels
  12. I think a lot depends on how you leave the Club. Has the player forced a move or are his Club selling him to raise funds? I wouldn't blame anyone for wanting to get out of here ASAP at the moment but in normal times or at a normal Club if a player deliberately runs down his contract just so he can earn a bit more dosh I think he deserves all the derision coming his way. If however he leaves for a Club in a higher Division and a lot more money and the Club get a proper fee then there's no real room for resentment. However I don't particularly see the need to blow him kisses and wish him well at his new Club etc. you can still reserve the right to be disappointed and at the end of the day, every other Club is your enemy.
  13. It happens for pretty much all clubs not sure why ‘undisclosed fees’ is something that’s thrown at rovers solely.
  14. It might not even be as deep as that. How strong is the Yen these days? How far does £10k a week get you in Japan? I've been to Scandinavian and it's bloody expensive, so Tronstad wanting more makes sense.
  15. Relegation specialist you say? Well some posters think that's exactly what our owners want, so maybe they'll push the boat out for him...
  16. My point it when he got the budasliga move he will be paid around the same that Travis and Tronstad want I assume. I would be surprised if he wants substantially less than they do.
  17. It also allows them the chance to come out with nonsense PR statements about “significant investment” when we all know it’s total garbage. You can be certain it’s not in the best interests of the fans anyway
  18. Probably happy to retain his wages and not get them cut by relegation
  19. I know we won't do this as we haven't tried it in pre-season but with the singings it does feel like we are more setup for a 343. Mainly because we only have Kargbo and Hedges who are "wide forwards", and we have signed what seem more like wing backs (Alebiouso, De Neve) and we have a lot of number 10s to fit in (Cantwell, Henricksson, Tyor) Toth Hyam Wharton Pickering Alebiouso Travis Tronstad De Neve Cantwell Ohashi Kargbo Subs : Pears, Riberio, McCloughlin, Montgomery, Henricksson, Tyor, Gueye Not sure Hedges even makes the bench...
  20. Maybe he has a more popular agent that 2025 Rovers are willing to do business with than any of Travis, Tronstad or Brittain?
  21. He was a top player for Birmingham City despite the team being relegated and moved to Bochum in the Budasliga (not Budasliga 2). So in terms of his career he has played at a higher level than any of Travis, Tronstad or Brittain. Hence my confusion on the wages.
  22. I think there are tiers of “established championship players” personally. Looking at those three outside inwardly, without the knowledge of our backroom, you would easily argue that they’re all established top half experienced players, two out of three still young (and therefore more valuable!) The lad from Germany’s last experience was relegation with Brum I think? Oh and then relegation in Germany too 😂
  23. It is pretty clear from all of this, that it i a case of keeping the truth of the size unrest, away from the owners, for as long as possible, thus protecting certain individual in situ at Ewood Park. I wasn't in attendance, however, unless I am very much mistaken, the reason for the confrontation was due to Pasha taking issue with Glen, having communication with the owners. That tells me, that Pasha is frightened of the owners, knowing what is really happening, thus protecting his position. Hopefully the statement being released today, gets to them too and we see the start of his demise, as it will be a significant removal, in my opinion, if that does happen.
  24. Miyoshi is an established Championship player. I am struggling to see how his wage demands would be lower than Brittain, Travis or Tronstad?
