  1. Past hour
  2. Owners and their stooge are probably desperate for a new CEO - as cheap as possible - because it is another shield front of house for them. Anything to move the spotlight even if it costs 300k per year.
  3. You both asked and answered the same question?
  4. do you think PSG or Newcastle fans really care about what is going on in those countries really? I wouldn't if I was supporter of those clubs
  5. We offered a sum which Dolan wasn’t willing to accept. So either we’re cheapskates or he is greedy. Which seems most likely…
  6. Yes I know. Teams know we are good at developing young players and clubs are now targeting us for this very reasons, but we have good track record at bringing through our own players and we should carry this on why shouldn't we been bringing through our own players from our academy?
  7. Perhaps first team minutes raise the value of the players, even though they will probably be picked off.
  8. Well at least we’ve established that sportswashing works on some people.
  9. GB's comments from September 2023 on Dolan's contract latest Gregg Broughton reveals latest on Dolan contract talks | Lancashire Telegraph do you know what we offered in wages in the contract talks or not? its a simple question, care to answer it please?
  10. If Saudis (or any other morally abhorrent regime) bought Rovers, that'd be me done, I don't give a shit if they turned us into Man City or Real Madrid, I want nothing to do with it. What profits a man who gains the world but sells his soul?
  11. If our best youngsters will just be picked off, it probably makes these targets that Gestede is pushing to give graduates a certain number of minutes even more ridiculous.
  12. They are the ones being linked to big clubs.
  13. I think weve seen enough from how we have been run under Venkys to be able to make a reasonable assumption. Broughton was proactive in terms of getting players to sign new deals, but the players he was able to get signed up tended to be ones that were seemingly pretty easy to do. If you genuinely think that we likely offered Dolan a competitive Championship wage then again I suspect quite a bit of naivety.
  14. wrong again RF99 But sadly my focus is on the ownership of their clubs not what is going on their own country whatever that might be. That's is focus for supporters of their clubs and rightly so, not none football matters
  15. I dont think anyone has questioned their running of the football club in isolation. You clearly havent grasped the idea of sportswashing.
  16. * Godwin’s law alert* ’people say horrible things bout Adolf but don’t they know he bought us the pacey winger we needed’
  17. wrong again RF99 but carrying on posting your lies. Nights games means I get 3 hours less sleep before I go to work on a night shift but it is my choice to work nights and to attend Rovers games. Its my decision so I owned my decision. I take it from your comments you have never worked night shifts in your working life? is this correct RF99?
  18. do you know what wage GB offer him or just more speculation from you? given the number of contracts he got Players to sign suggested the wage offered was rubbish from yourself is wide of the mark. Maybe Dolan decide 2 years he wanted to test the water and have a choice of clubs he wants
  19. With the bits most posters on here know, I would be very surprised if everything has been totally above board for the last 15 years. My opinion is they are less than 50% sure that any mind posted, will be returned.
  20. Its wasn't but my point I was making is more than relevant to this thread. Nicko is a source of info. That's it. Don't live on every word either just for the record either.
  21. I mean the ones being linked with moves to big clubs.
  22. Have both set of owners invested in their clubs with money without putting debt on the clubs like some other owners of clubs like United and Liverpool? That's all supporters want is good ownership and investment into their club.
  23. Coupled with a total lack of empathy towards others who are affected by constant kick off time changes.
  24. Yeah, probably because the wage offered was rubbish. Offering him 10p a week is "trying to get him to sign a new contract."
  25. Back in the day we used to arrange our holidays, family events etc around the fixture list. No chance I’d do that now, imagine missing out on a good September deal for your hols so you don’t miss Millwall at home.
