  1. Past hour
  2. It has to be unless both clubs agree otherwise. I doubt thereโ€™s many occasions when both clubs would benefit from the fee being known. Personally I think all fees should have to be disclosed.
  3. Unless I am in the room how would we know. You act and posted like everything is Rovers fault but isn't the case. Some players will want and stay, some will move on cos they want a new challenge, some want more money than what we want to pay so move on or a middle ground can be found and agree terms. But you know all this RF99 My point was about the transfer business and us signing players that fitted in Ismael's profile of player
  4. End of the day why is this thread titled like it is? Because thatโ€™s generally been the remit of the FF. The club have tried to manoeuvre the FF in to being the group that covers all consultation with the club, and they were getting away with it too. So all power to Glen et al for using their conniving and pathetic shenanigans against them.
  5. Do you know what time they open on match days?
  6. The only thing that makes me think there was something in it was unleaded said it was expected to happen two years ago but it all went quiet. If it's been stalled for 2 weeks I dont see it happening but hypothetically at 28 I dont see the players age as an issue especially if he is good technically and not solely reliant on pace. Nor should the fee be an obstacle bearing in mind much of the headline figure will consist of add ons (if met) and the rest is payable in installments. I know you're not knocking it yourself and are only giving reasons why the Club may turn their nose up at it but Im not sure why a few are complaining about the fee - it's not their own money they're spending!
  7. In a normal world apologies would generally be acceptable for this kind of behaviour but (if this is what happened) they are trying to pretend it didn't happen. The absolute arrogance of them.
  8. No this story is true, @unleaded confirmed our interest in him. Down to Rovers getting it sort and hopefully we are doing that, think he would be smart signing and good player for us cos they have salary caps in NBA and you find the key players on more than a squad player.
  9. Glen's own words.. "My issue is the unprofessional outburst and aggressive nature of some of the club officials. They went to a place where they lost total control of their emotions and lashed out stating things they now clearly regret."
  10. American sports have the salary cap which is why those details are available.
  11. If that's the case (I have no idea so will accept you at your word), and it is legally possible to do so in the UK/Europe, then I would love to see it in football here too
  12. They're more than happy to share salaries in the NFL / MLB etc.
  13. Today
  14. Completely agree, At a bare minimum, they should have to publish what the guaranteed amount is, along with possible maximum amount, & with sell % Also think the same should apply for player wages (as far as it can) Probably restricted in that can't legally force clubs to disclose individual player wages/bonuses etc, I imagine that would infringe data protection or similar of the individual players. But it could be possible for them to be "forced" to publish an amalgamated basic wage amount etc (accounts currently only have to show a wage for all club staff including directors, tea ladies etc)
  15. Not sure there would be a relegation clause, there's a difference between league one and 2.Bundesliga
  16. Personally I'm sick of it and think they should force clubs to reveal the terms of deals. The fans deserve to know if money is being spent wisely.
  17. He was bought for ยฃ1.2m from Japan 4 years ago. He left Birmingham for ยฃ400k on a relegation release clause (signed on a free). His agent will have inserted a relegation release clause into his contract. There's no way we're paying ยฃ2m for him from a relegated side that only played him 15 times last year.
  18. But if he wants out then he may accept I donโ€™t think he would have been on much more tbh
  19. Yes agreed 100% itโ€™s why I think the 2million touted by Nixon is likely to be false
  20. I donโ€™t think Miyoshi will be ยฃ2m. Joined for ยฃ400k and didnโ€™t play much during another relegation season. I would imagine he has a similar release clause to the one he had at Birmingham. Maybe ยฃ800k - ยฃ1m with some add ons.
  21. No I agree, 28 is a great age. I don't like the modern trend that every signing needs resale value, you need a good balance in there. I just think the club might see it differently, unless its really cheap like the McLoughlin deal.
  22. Following his relegation wage reduction, he might possibly be at that level If he wants to maintain his earnings from last season, Rovers will be probably be out of the running
  23. The club keep coming up with these hare brained schemes which will undoubtedly deter some from actually going. It's simple really - give fans a choice of using the options available. I really don't care if other clubs or organisations are wholly digital, as a club with a dwindling support they should really be understanding of this and after for everyone. I expect all kinds of problems next Saturday when we play Birmingham if the Everton friendly is anything to go by.
  24. I donโ€™t think the 2million will be paid up front itl be stacked with add ons A lot seem to be talking about age 28 is a nice age I donโ€™t see the problem with it (all signings cannot be with resale value) but I agree on the Nixon from the could be well off it
  25. Iโ€™d say heโ€™s on around the 10k per week salary
  26. I think you will be disappointed, its 9 subs on the bench these days for a start ๐Ÿ™‚
