I think I am done with this seasons squad until Valerin is sacked. He is the worst manager we have had since Venkys arrived - yes, I am counting Owen Coyle in that. He's not objectively a bad player he's got a lot of experience, he's just about 50 years old and has no consistency or fitness as a result. If we'd signed him when he was 25 I'm sure he'd be great but we got him as a has been and have then used him as a bit part player. He's always looked unfit and lacking match sharpness. He is usually thrown on in the thick of things in crunch games and isn't up to the speed of the game then makes mistakes. It was bizarre that Plymouth couldn't wait to offload him, that should have been a red flag when they were sinking like a stone last season.
