We are going to run out of teams to even hope stink the place out with us, Norwich will stroll away from danger now so our only hope is somehow Oxford and Portsmouth somehow collapse worse than we do -

And rather than sign an actually talented CM or renew Travis, Rudy's exciting option was to give his ancient mate another 1 year deal to barely play. -

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
Dreams of 1995 replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I think I am done with this seasons squad until Valerin is sacked. He is the worst manager we have had since Venkys arrived - yes, I am counting Owen Coyle in that. It is so obvious to all that we are simply not coaching our players properly. They are all consistently making the wrong decision. Ok, some are not good enough but the fact this is team wise is a symptom of a lack of technical coaching He is a coach who runs his players in to the ground. It is evident there is not the technical side of coaching which is developing the transition, the patterns of play, the attacking flair. It is all about huff and puff and a moment of individual brilliance It is not helped with an amateur director of football. We have two people running the football side who are simply not good enough. Rudy is a self serving idiot who has alienated long standing staff members; his signings, almost to a man, poor. The squad is so imbalanced that it would take a head coach with real nouse to make a tune out of it And we do not have that. We have a manager with no plan B. He is out of his depth here. I just can’t take watching any more of his football. It is negative in every sense of the word. I really don’t like him. Even under Coyle we looked like we could score. 1 win in 13 - if he isn’t sacked by tomorrow then this club is finished this season. To a man they are disgraces. Suhail, Rudy and Val - the death of this great club -

Are you still watching it? I turned it off and made some toast -
He's not objectively a bad player he's got a lot of experience, he's just about 50 years old and has no consistency or fitness as a result. If we'd signed him when he was 25 I'm sure he'd be great but we got him as a has been and have then used him as a bit part player. He's always looked unfit and lacking match sharpness. He is usually thrown on in the thick of things in crunch games and isn't up to the speed of the game then makes mistakes. It was bizarre that Plymouth couldn't wait to offload him, that should have been a red flag when they were sinking like a stone last season.

Maybe we should put Cashin up front. It was a fucking good finish for the own goal on Saturday. Apologies for the language. Very peed off and the worst thing is - we all knew it would happen. Demolish the squad, bring in (generally) a load of cheap (or not so cheap shite) and cap it off with a failed manager who absolutely no-one wanted.
