  1. Past hour
  2. The owners should know but havent bothered coming over in a decade. They clearly dont care about the state of the facilities hence their denial of a full pitch revamp a couple of years ago.
  3. We did well today. I read earlier in the week that Millwall have looked tired lately and have had issues with central midfielders in particular. Neil wasnt happy with their application today based on his post match interview. But we still took advantage and won comfortably. But the squad is still a state overall. Henriksson didnt do anything when he came on really. He isnt up to standard. We need 2 more strikers because Ohashi and Gudjohnsen are being run into the ground.
  4. Who cares if it’s ’carnage on here’. You play good footballers whatever the route to the first team.
  5. Can you imagine the repsonse on here if Rovers didn't spend money on those we and said we bringing through a couple of academy players instead, it was carnage on here. did a good job when he came on. Maybe that's a better role for him Given Millwall are top 6 before this game, we deny them much quality in their game and force Neil into a tactical change to match us. We provided the moments of quality. I expect much better from Millwall but we never witness that Rovers managed the game and second half we stopped them and was pragmatic in approach.
  6. So if we signed 2 players from random foreign leagues on cheap fees and wages permanently and a loan, youd consider that as being backed? Either option would give a high probability of relegation.
  7. He at least, must have good lungs.
  8. “He lives in shouting distance of Ewood Park and has aspirations to play for the club. He has had offers over the years to go elsewhere but wanted to stay.”
  9. I doubt many, if any, five to six year old boys are actual fans of a specific club.
  10. or being born and brought up in Blackburn, as a Blackburn fan, means you go the to local Rovers academy
  11. bame the var **** and the ref, they`ve basically ruined the game with the red card
  12. I would think one would lead to the other. IE being at the academy from such a young age, he would automatically be a Rovers fan.
  13. when you hear Spurs fans talk on radio phone ins, they say its no atmosphere there. It doesn't when you playing so poor
  14. I actually noticed whilst driving past the stadium yesterday that they've replaced the 'Welcome to Ewood Park' sign above the JW/Darwen End corner entrance. That's this year's maintenance budget blown.
  15. They sold players for 140 mililion and reinvested the same on players in. Wolverhampton Wanderers - Transfers 25/26 | Transfermarkt last season, spent 124 millionn and sold for 116 miillion, Wolverhampton Wanderers - Transfers 24/25 | Transfermarkt so money has been reinvest in signings. I would say not signing enough PL knowhow players has been the problem or backing the wrong head coaches there I hope they back Rob Edwards given his connections to the club and why he went there, but its a complete revamp there for Championship
  16. Just watching the Spurs v Liverpool game, it’s that quiet I just heard a mouse piss on cotton.
  17. The current leadership are well known for being sensible and considering the consequences of offloading experienced players without adequate replacements. No worries 🤪
  18. I'd like a fit Leonard on the bench to come on when Gudjohnsen or Ohashi tire (or start in their absence). Only problem is that, for whatever reason, whilst at Rovers i don't remember him being fit any length of time and never really got up to speed with "senior" football from what i saw on the few occasions he played. Tough one - don't think Posh would have gone along with a deal in our favour that would have allowed him to come back here if he did well.
  19. Would take that over Gestede and Owen lumbering us with more rubbish tbh.
  20. yep, also been with the academy since he was 5 or 6 https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/march/20/-playing-for-your-local-team--your-team--it-s-what-you-want-/
  21. Agreed but when does this club do logic?
  22. Did I hear right that Litherland is a boyhood Rovers fan? Always even better when an academy lad is a fan.
  23. probably a wise decision, millwall were in christmas gift mode otherwise it would have gone down a terrible 0-0,though on the plus side, they did`nt look like ever scoring, lovely to have 3 points in the bag
  24. Today
  25. Today we did well to get the result. Was a poor quality game but a comfortable win. But in general, yes. We are still near the bottom of the table. The squad is so stretched with very little quality.
