  1. Past hour
  2. Think we all knew this, don’t know why he had to come out and talk about it though
  3. Frightening yes, but completely inevitable as a direct result of decisions and steps taken by the ownership and their regime. There are consequences to everything in life. Yet I still get the impression there are people employed down there who genuinely don't understand this and think that they can just rely on and take for granted that people will just hand over their hard earned cash without question every year whilst this lot take the piss out of them. A look at the Ewood seat planner suggests breaking point has been passed for quite a few.
  4. lets see who we gets in first, who and what qualities they have. some people are waiting till we don't make every signing before pre season and then they can say told you so and I was right and others were wrong. Batth hasn't sign for Derby yet and if they were offering a 2 year contract he would be sign up there.
  5. So Szmodics admits he refused to play for the team to force through move to Ipswich Does this put him on the same level as Gestede then, or is all forgiven? https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25239630.sam-szmodics-blackburn-rovers-exit-ipswich-transfer/
  6. er yeah,ok,if we sign 7 players in the next fortnight,i`ll handglide off the blackburn end roof using a binliner
  7. A tag from Chaddy? Mum..Dad...I've made it.
  8. Buckley in the last 2 years he hasn't develop and he has backwards in terms of playing time and influence on the games. @BankEnd Rover is right on when Buckley starting going backwards
  9. i really thought he`d be picked up by a mid table championship side.i.e us,preston, stoke etc
  10. We wanted 6 or 7 according to Ismael although that was presumably before we knew that Batth and Weimann were not staying. So up to 9. So I expect 7 signings in the next 2 weeks with Ismael wanting 90% in by pre season and considering his full alignment with Gestede, should be a cert.
  11. I'm sure people will posted when they are out online
  12. Im just saying that factually we have faced some inferior teams in the last few tournaments. Often most of the strongest teams have been on the opposite side of the draw. Its impossible to directly compare tournaments because who you play is not consistent like a league season. I would happily take a group of Latvia, Iran and Fiji next summer, followed by knockout games against Bahrain, Papau New Guinea, Botswana, Armenia and Vanuata.
  13. Thought the whole point was winning trophies, not reaching semi finals?
  14. Luck play a part in the draw but not in the results of the games. Its very interesting how you want to low balled your own country results in recent major tournaments.
  15. No this thread is for bickering only, sorry.
  16. Today
  17. Ricky Jade Jones from Pboro has gone to St Pauli in Germany.
  18. Preston have sold 10k+ Looking at our online seat booker and the availability in the BBE is frightening. Sad times.
  19. Luck plays a part in the original draw, after that the path is mapped out and it's results which determine who you play.
  20. Problem with him now as i see it is he knows he's a back up player and his attitude matches that, how often does he give away needless free kicks or open his mouth at the ref when hes committed one ? 5 year contract tailed him off imo.
  21. Any good transfer rumours with some solid links?
  22. By the same token, Rovers weren't playing against the best players and managers in the world. If reaching the quarter and semi of the world Cup and both European finals open to him, making him our 2nd best ever manager, whilst overseeing the whole system from first team down isn't a successful period, we'll have to agree to disagree.
  23. It isnt, its just an opinion. You are fixated on policing negativity beyond having a reasonable discussion. His best spell came further up under Mowbray (ie away from his own penalty box) but it was only a brief period. When he moved back he regularly lost the ball dawdling in dangerous areas. He obviously has some technical ability but he doesnt have a picture of what is around him. This wont suit the idea that I am only interested in negatives but Tronstad rarely loses the ball in those areas because he plays quickly and knows what is around him. I also have not seen much evidence of him being a "fantastic passer." There is a reason that he has failed to keep a regular place for a nunber of years under numerous managers, that he was loaned out and that he is now totally out of favour.
  24. If Buckley doesn't have the physical tools to handle the Championship he certainly won't be able to hack it in League 1. A similarly technically gifted player like Dack was a decent blend of both which is why he was able to handle both the Championship and League 1, and probably could have stepped up to be useful in the PL if injuries hadn't wrecked his opportunity to do so. Idk, feels like Buckley's skillset would be better suited abroad. Or as he is now - a second string Championship player who can give something different from the bench when players are tiring and the game is a bit less physical.
  25. Well there won't be 100,000,000 of them i can tell you that.
  26. Buckley is a moron, plain and simple. Big ego bad attitude, something was off when we he started arguing with officials and it just got worse and worse. He is his own worst enemy
