  1. Past hour
  2. But the actual attendance can be found I believe, via the police, and a freedom of information request.
  3. With context yes if we compare to last season then it’s a fail which I agree it should never have come to this and we have downgraded in most positions however without comparing to last season and just looking at ‘this seasons squad’ and how they have performed for us given where they have come from I think as stated about 50% of the signings have been average or above still a failure on last season mind you but more treating my grading on their own merit
  4. Wouldn't be surprised if it's down to paying for an extra allocation which they won't want to do. So they'll just suspend sales then put the last block up for sale later but of course if you were Sheff Weds you'd not be impressed. Being in admin though they might well be asking for money up front for blocks of tickets.
  5. I'll take a punt and say 1400 ish.
  6. Sorry. I went through tough times Christmas 2023. Just lost my parents to cancer. Was a tough Christmas. Hope u keep well
  7. Why would a club run by administrators (I.e their whole remit is to rescue the business) instruct tickets in just one stand to be taken off sale nearly a week before the game. Of course it’s a Rovers decision.
  8. It’ll be forgotten about within 24 hours. It has to cost them as much money as possible. When every home game starts costing them money to play they’ll pull the plug.
  9. But every attendance figures always including ST numbers even on teams like Man United. But the biggest blow at Sheffield Wednesday was HMRC bill. Is that not correct? Crowds are low at the minute but 12.30 kick offs are always lower attended. Lets see how the next 2 games are attend and the Watford game?.
  10. Quite surprised some think Brittain is better... Alebiosu is a league ahead in quality and it's not even close in my opinion. He plays like a player who came through at Arsenal and even if he didn't make it there, should be playing in the same league.
  11. Today
  12. Hence my point who decide to take them off sale, us or them? That's my question
  13. The boycotts at Hillsborough worked a treat, it was that effective the club couldn't deny it happening. Grimsby and Boro had more fans in the ground than Wednesday did, it made national news. Our game against Millwall on SKY mentioned the dwindling crowds in commentry, its plan to see, nobody needs offical figures.
  14. Gudjohnsen has decent link up play. Alebiosu has been our star signing. Morishita has been solid signing. McLoughlin and Miller has been more than solid signings, yet the odd bad performance grant Baradji is the one I want to see more off. TGH has been orite Not every signing will work out but that's normal within a football club
  15. It will work..a Photograph of the Stands on a Mobile Phone will speak louder than any official BS attendance given.
  16. SWFC home tickets are still up for online sale. Football is big business and games round Christmas have a traditional call for some so if overview for online purchases on Rovers website is necessay (😕) over Christmas Day & Boxing Day, will they go back up on 27th & 28th? I doubt it.
  17. McLoughlin was a backup at Hull wasn't he? On that basis he's done alright for us. He wasn't an upgrade on anything we had, but he's about what I expected. Miller has been hit and miss. His long throw isn't effective though which is disappointing. Alebiosu is the star pick of our summer business, and imo it isn't even a contest. Really good player. Gudjohnsen is a solid poacher but has very little else to his game. For the market we're in, though, he can be considered a success for sure. Personally I like Morishita and think he'll continue to improve as time goes on. TGH is... well, he's there. Doesn't really do anything wrong, but not a game changer either. Adequate utility man. The rest were a waste of money.
  18. Which is why a boycott won’t work. They’ll release numbers similar to any other game.
  19. Absolutely, completely agree on that. Point is, they could have put all the remaining tickets online, and with them being digital tickets people could decide to go over the Christmas period rather than being forced to make a decision 6 days before the game.
  20. I think he’s OK, I just think that Sanderson had a bit more about him, he is quicker for a start..
  21. I think we’ve got 50% of our signings right. Given we’re negotiating with the bag of magic beans that’s a decent score. I expect normal clubs to get 50% right. Really well organised clubs possibly get 75% to 80% right. Nobody gets every signing right. Even Fergie had his share of duds.
  22. Supposedly 1m clause in loan agreement Not a fan of McLoughlin?
  23. I'm asking who made the decision. How's that passing the buck. I'm asking who made the decision. That's all I asking. Read my post. People too quick to blame us. I think given staff a few days over Christmas is good move by the club given staff are working on New Year day and around that period..plus this week. The staff are hard working. I was in the club shop picking presents up for family.
  24. A lot depends on what he and Big Club wanted for him to sign. I liked him and I thought there was a player there. I’d have preferred him to McCloughlin I think.
