  1. Past hour
  2. Especially since they're billionaires and pitch spend is exempt from FFP. Crazy that some fans don't see the failure to invest in the pitch, stadium and womens team is the ultimate proof they're not just hamstrung by FFP but actively don't want to invest.
  3. Nobody pays attention to the announced crowd these days. Leicester, West Ham have both had very empty grounds in recent weeks with ‘27,000’, ‘58,000’ announced or whatever.
  4. I felt it needed a closing statement.
  5. When Gueye did get on the field this season what did he do to change the managers mind? Caught offside multiple times and throwing his arms in the air moaning at teammates. Granted his opportunities were limited but he showed absolutely nothing to warrant more minutes
  6. Are there any plans for the Coalition to challenge the Owners silence over the Letter?..again,strike while the Iron is hot surely. Can we ask the LT/National Media to get involved again and ask questions as to why we have been ignored.
  7. Aren't those far better numbers (since we are only halfway through the season) than that wonderkid we lost to Chelsea?
  8. I don't really doubt that the recruitment team are doing all they can. Those above them however, those are the ones nobody should have any confidence in.
  9. Tbf you said yesterday you wouldn’t continue on about it but yet here we are….
  10. We are nearly half way through Jan...what are the recruitment team doing?!
  11. VI: The idea is to bring in two or three players (before the FA Cup game) Why even make such a ludicrous statement when he and the entire fanbase knew that simply wouldn't happen with these owners. I'd hazard a very strong guess that we are no closer now to bringing in attacking reinforcements than we were on Jan 1st. Anyone who is unsure about boycotting the Watford game surely has to ask themselves one question: can I stomach watching Henriksson in yet another game up top?! He may come good at some point but the guy is clearly out of his depth right now. Nowhere near the level required.
  12. He's simply being judged on the fact he plundered a few goals which is of course what you want from strikers but..... He did literally fook all else even before this seasons downing of tools which is unforgivable in itself. IF he was a workhorse striker putting himself about across the front line and could actually control a ball he'd have been involved a lot more. You can forgive someone missing easy chances as he frequently did if they keep grafting and getting themselves into position but he threw in the towel way before any of this so called didn't get a fair crack etc. Try and recount the actual good games he had or effective cameos throwing the big lad on up top ? There are hardly any, time to face up to it despite being a nice lad and bonding with fans he just wasn't up to Championship standard football. That's why he's now in China and not on loan to Oxford or someone, he did very little to justify his wages. Not the first certainly won't be the last be the last but it was a poor signing and they've got out of jail getting a few quid back. Move on.
  13. The 'official attendance' will be the same as it always is, as it counts tickets sold not bums on seats The true figure will come in the FOI request to the police, who will release actual data In any case, you will be able to see, visually, if there is a reduction in attendance. What Pasha points to is irrelevant.
  14. Were goals the main complaint? It was his inability to look like a professional footballer that bothered most. That recent social media challenge was really telling. Cantwell said something like "I bet you £100 he misses" when it was Gueye's turn. Even his teammates didn't think he could kick a ball like a professional.
  15. I think the main point being made was that Gueye had not played that many minutes this season. If he was still here, and one had gone in off his arse in his next 5 minute appearance, he would have a better strike rate than Gudjohnsen this season in terms of goals per minute (I am not claiming this makes Gueye any better than he is, but purely looking at the stats/and throwing in a hypothetical) But yes, Gudjohnsen strike rate is excellent
  16. Unless I'm mistaken, 1 goal every 205 mins equates to a goal in just over 2 games which is hardly garbage, in fact it's excellent.. I would be delighted if any new striker(s) have a similar goal rate
  17. Yeah, I'm sure that's why he left and not for footballing reasons. Marvelous player.
  18. They'd never come out and say it but through their entire tenure there has definitely been an element of F U we own it it's ours. Come if you want but if not we aren't bothered we pay and we'll do as we please. Imo the ONLY way to break that is boycott and show them a football club is nothing without its fans and all the blame and bad publicity lies with you, regardless of your wealth.
  19. Curiously he seems to have popped in to say goodbye to that Player Liaison lady who was fired before she flew off to Dubai. Anyone that took her side was shuffled out the door.
  20. Unfortunately I think they do, I fear that is the very point of holding on to the club. I believe they hate us.
  21. Today
  22. I'm not going to get into it - but: Gueye was unfairly treated for the last 9 months of his time here. he played 187 minutes this season and people are saying he hasn't scored enough goals. Ohashi has played 1993 minutes and scored 6 goals meaning he scores 1 every 332 minutes. Andri Gudjohnsen has played 1227 minutes scoring 7 goals putting him at 1 every 205 minutes. easy to point fingers but in theory and with this data driven approach all of our strike force are garbage.
  23. Staff and players not being paid at Wednesday meant more anger and probably no opposition from inside the club to protests etc. Plus their owner had a presence at the ground sometimes. Unlike here, invisible owners, people inside the club protecting their own gravy train and don't care about protests because of the thousands of miles buffer zone between here and India. Staff and players always get paid as do the bills so no support comes from them. It's a completely different dynamic here due to 15 years apathy rather than a few years anger as we had over a decade ago. We more resemble Reading or what Charlton were in their slow demise quietly slipping away aside from the odd publicised kick off. When Bolton were slipping away they to had the odd spat but mainly like here loads just stayed away quietly.
  24. Regardless of if folk think he got a fair shake with VI or not, the end result is the same, he did feck all, so the fact his minimal contribution gets a ‘memorable moments’ sign off sums up the standards down there.
  25. Yep, that's why I had to check again 🙂
  26. This surprises me, Alex Tóth isn't that great in my opinion but what do I know.
  27. The biggest boycott will be in the summer when season tickets are released.
