Hopefully we get a new manager in before deadline -
Agreed. Saved us a few times within the first 30 mins or so.

It was improved on the embarassing 2 losses but thats a low bar. The standard of the performance today and the game as a whole was depressingly low. -
Ohashi would be a great utility player. As a main striker he's not equipped to do the job with the skills he has. No shame in that, not his fault he's being put in a situation designed to highlight his weaknesses rather than play to his strengths.
-
The fact even with the diminished gates we get these days, a significant number of the remaining rump still boycotted one of the few Saturday 3pm’s we get is a decent enough sign for me.
-
Disagree totally. The tactics first half were woeful and it should have been out of sight for them withing 30 mins. They showed us how to play -the ball up to their centre forward and his good touch to bring in others was way beyond us. Still, one corner, one goal from Miller and it was game on. Footy eh? (Let's not get into the miss from the best move of the game where their lad shot into row zz+ in the Blackburn end 😉 )

Feel like the narrative post game is that we were much better today. I thought we were crap again, so were they. The quality of the game in general was pretty embarassing at times. A group of sub par players looking particularly disjointed and again failing to win. The change of formation doesnt make sense. Recruitment clearly wasnt designed for a back 3, but we have seemingly focused on getting in most likely 2 strikers, no wingers, only to revert back, especially when our good wing back is getting fit again. Just screams of making it up as they go along. Ohashi is not good enough, thats pretty simple. Jorgensen offered nothing and looks slow, and Miroshita is better central and looks rusty, had no impact. Cantwell was crap. O'Riordan doesnt look up to it and I was amazed to see he got man of the match. Thought Cashin was much better which obviously the benchmark was low. But he was man of the match for me. Tronstad was also decent. Alebiosu had an impact when he came on. -
1 win in 14 games, he’s got to go!

Thought it was a much improved performance today. After conceding first, I wasn't sure how we would react, but we came back well to grab an equaliser. After that it was a very even game with both sides having the chance to snatch a winner. Forshaw makes a difference in midfield and Baradji came on and looked the part and it was good to see Alebiosu back. Once we get Gudjohnsen back, it will be interesting to see how he combines with Jorgensen. Indeed, once we get the injured players back it should make for an interesting end of the season. It will be tight, but I think we have enough to stay up. Certainly far more optimistic tonight than after the two away games last week. -
As empty as it looked, I expected it to be worse. Suppose we’ve become used to it always looking empty now though so not much impact today sadly. Worth a try, not particularly successful though.

Just nonsense. Because the numpties in charge decimated the team it means that the dross left on the pitch (that constantly changes) can do very little to provide so that Yuki is worked to death with no assistance beside him and forced to chase crap into the channels from MacLaughlin (that's if it doesn't go straight into touch). Not saying he is a world beater by any means (and never was) but given the quality of the squad is considerably weaker this season so he is struggling too - if he wasn't so a abused as a workhorse and could do his work in the box he would get more -though as I say would still never be top drawer. Take him out and replace with Gud would be interesting.

I think they're expecting the sale after the transfer window shuts now. Basically means the administrators have to continue treating the club like a collapsed business and raise money however they can. Expect anyone who can fetch a half decent price will be gone by the time the window closes.

My guess is that 50% of the remnant core Rovers support decided to vote with their feet, enough is enough !

It's gotten to the point where not losing is actually seen as a victory, even if we only get a point. Zero ambition and expectations through the floor. You'd think we were a newly promoted club, rather than a team that finished 7th last season. -
You'd be sent off within 5 minutes for an old fashioned reducer and for moaning at the ref.

Not sure how anyone can even try to suggest that the boycott hasn’t been successful ! 7,600 for a Saturday 3PM fixture, including 1,000 Watford and 500 free to schools. Suggests probably 50% of our core support stayed away and made their point, enough is enough. -
Looks to me like today was successful as a first step in a longer resistance process/protest, with circa 4-5k having stayed away. Well done to all involved. As others have said, people have very personal reasons and circumstances for attending or not attending.

I said this the other week, I really hate Gallagher as a pundit. Chalk and cheese with Paul Gallagher who gave excellent insight and was pretty much spot on with his commentary, punditry and in highlighting his concerns about Rovers. -

Radio Lancashire, Kevin Gallacher and the phone caller who could pass for a club plant all very pleased with one point against a middling Watford side, taking it to one win in 14 competitive matches. I'm in an unreleased episode of the Twilight Zone -
Yep and this is the thing that I think would convince the hardcore to participate. If they felt the club's existence was at risk, then they'd kick up a fuss. Until then Venky's are paying the bills and putting a team out there, and that's good enough.

Cantwell a couterfeit Robbie Savage...Baradj and Alebiosu will keep us up if fit and we get Jorgensen and Gudjhonsen up top...and why did we sign Cashin when O'Riordan might be better?
