  1. Past hour
  2. Like Markanday, he's found his level. As for the development loans - that's the pond we fish in. We're unwilling to pay for the more highly sought after loanees (who are earmarked as better / further along in their development) so we get the cheap ones like ACD, Clarkson, Mola et al - the ones PL clubs have little hope for, but are willing to see what they've got playing men's football.
  3. Alan Nixon goes out of his way to gaslight Rovers fans whenever an opportunity arises. He's a fud and a dud.
  4. Quite possibly. I know he put his name to the Mcfadz, Batth type signings but there was also Fleck, Dennis etc. A few million straight down the pan.
  5. He's clearly got some good agent / club contacts, but what he knows about football could fit on a postage stamp.
  6. I like this but would go 3-5-2 myself with Cantwell in a “free” role in midfield. Watched Birmingham v Ipswich and they lacked control in the middle of the park - win that battle we win the game in my opinion. Birmingham play with intensity & get the ball forward quickly but we’ve shown in the past we’re usually better when teams play on the front foot against us. Teams like WBA last week who played shit house dirty tactics and sit back, we struggle against. Toth Miller Hyam McLoughlin Alebiousu Riberio Travis Tavares Cantwell Ohashi Kargbo This is based on the performances last week - Hedges simply isn’t good enough to start at Championship level and Tronstad was poor. Travis to make his last stand in blue & white - we need his and Millers’ battling qualities in this game. We also need Cantwell’s creativity & Kargbo’s pace to get us forward and up the pitch. Bucking the trend of doom & gloom on here… 2-1 Rovers COYB 🌹
  7. The annoying thing about Hedges is that he's not shite, technically. Like they can't just all sigh when he turns up at training because he can't trap a bag of cement. I bet he's half decent at the drills. His brain just shuts down when he gets into the final third on match days.
  8. It will, I predict our fist win will be on the 30th September at home to Swansea.
  9. Only a measly £20K/week. Surely will go down as the deal of the century
  10. Yes, according to Nixon Dennis was a masterstroke pulled off by Waggott thanks to us agreeing a £20 k p.w. contribution to the players wages.
  11. Shows exactly what Nixon's opinion counts for doesn't it
  12. Probably. I remember Nixon wax lyricaling about what a great deal Waggott had negotiated on his wages or something when he signed.
  13. It was probably Pasha, with Waggott used as the useful human shield
  14. Toth Miller - Hyam - McLoughlin - Ribeiro Hedges - Tronstad - Tavares - Cantwell - Kargbo Ohashi
  15. Not having a captain is a bigger joke.
  16. Morning Everyone, just letting everyone know that I've just handed in my resignation to the Fans Forum. I'm sure there will be a replacement announced in due course. Being completely honest, this has been on the cards for a while, but I've tried to soldier on. Sitting in a room and remaining civil with people I believe are responsible for the destruction of the club has just become too difficult. This, coupled with all the drama surrounding the release of the minutes and criticism of forum members has made me question why I'm doing it at all, to be honest. I can certainly think of better ways to spend my time. I've not been able to achieve what I set out to do and because I don't think the club will prosper until our owners leave, I think sitting in a room with them quarterly, just adds to this frustration. No matter what people may think of my contribution, I know that I never let anyone off the hook, always held the club responsible and without blowing my own trumpet, I'm confident I represented the message board with pride.
  17. Our season has to turn at some point. Hope we can find some form early on and they are working hard down at training. I'd be starting kargbo Saturday. Get some early pace and momentum
  18. Yes 100% Dennis was a buy to try get the fans on board. It was an obvious Fcuk up. Woodrow was their main attacking target (poor) Dennis then was a better name - hadn’t played in over a year and wasn’t training with Forest - and that took us over the squad limit meaning sigurdsson had to be left out was another failed window for sure I think Dennis would have been decent had he any sort of pre season or match fitness about him but not at the wages he was on let alone the fact he barely kicked a ball
  19. Me too. Playing or watching, winning is everything.
  20. Dennis is a complete dud and was a panic loan to try and pacify Eustace. Whoever spent that money on guys like him ought to be sacked it's as simple as that.
  21. He was absolutely terrible last season. Given the wages he was on probably our worst loan signing ?
  22. On the contrary but I do support Rovers and would never, ever want us to lose a match.
