  1. Past hour
  2. The club didn't want to pay contracts of 10k pwk or more to them i assume. If Suhail is saying spending big money doesn't guarantee higher league position you can bet the thinking is same with the wages. At some point this man will drag this club back into league 1 in the near future i'd say that IS guaranteed.
  3. New deals won't happen, I expect Trav to go this window and Tronstad end of season, or January if the new guys settle
  4. Baath, Wiemann, Travis etc Its also worth noting its the players council whose cards are marked, you upset the apple cart by speaking out against draconian behaviour at the training ground and your out!!!
  5. Sadly I doubt it. There is always an excuse ready. Sometimes I wish I didn't know or care about any of it tbh, must he fun to still have that childlike mind and I mean that with sincerity.
  6. Speaking to AO , the suggestion was, their time was up and a new deal was not what the club wanted.
  7. I thought Ipswich were shocking. No shots on target before that penalty that never was. If that's handball the game's gone. One of the other Ipswich players was a good yard or two inside the area when the penalty was struck as well. No way they're amongst the favourites to go up automatically on that showing. Birmingham looked decent enough. Probably a good bet for top 6. Hopefully being pegged back in such unfortunate circumstances will have derailed their momentum a bit for when they face us.
  8. Apart from Travis I wouldn't lose any sleep about any of the others. In fact I think we'd be doing well to get shut of them.
  9. If that came to light then I think even the β€˜happy clappers’ (for want of a better phrase) would turn
  10. Whether they were offered contracts or not the outcome is the same, they left or will leave so there are deep issues involved obviously. For what it's worth the Nyambie, Lenihen, BBD scenario's played out the same over a similar period and they all left as well. We heard the same stuff they were offered great deals - at the 11th hour once their ahents had something else lined up. Same pattern at play, same narrative created of blame all the players, same guy in the shadows being unaccountable yet letting the same things happen over and over. Some might say him and his bosses are the real problem.
  11. Prediction of exits Buckley, Travis, Cantwell, Pears and Leonard , before window shuts !!
  12. Exactly what I thought! Bloody nerve of it.
  13. I can't remember the exact wording but something along the lines of "When are you signing a new contract?" "When I get offered one" I don't know whether Ismael was honest or straight to the point. How do you know? It's your opinion. Yes club employees will be told a version of events by Venky stooge in charge. Give it time and he will learn the hard way that what Venky stooges say and the reality are often some way apart.
  14. What did Travis say outside to fans about a contract offer? Was Ismael straight to the point, open and honest about the Brittain Situation, post Stanley game and what would the week after if still here which was part of our first team squad for the Everton? club employees like Ismael you mean?
  15. 500 upπŸ‘. A couple of wickets with more promised this week. All this talk of 1 year contract extensions and then Stansfield gets a seven year contract. This is why we need American owners. https://huddleup.substack.com/p/the-billionaire-tax-trick-fueling?utm_source=substack&publication_id=17922&post_id=170177694&utm_medium=email&utm_content=share&utm_campaign=email-share&triggerShare=true&isFreemail=true&r=cakiq&triedRedirect=true
  16. Wasn’t the point in question I agree with all of the above but it’s not what you said - you said no offer
  17. Today
  18. Fundamentally this comes down to whether you believe the club has made a serious effort to keep any of these players. I don't. The reason for my original post was concern that people are starting to fall for a narrative that they have been made appropriate offers but have declined them. I don't believe for one second that they have and the club is 100% to blame for this situation in my opinion, not any of the players. I get angry and concerned when I see people suggesting that the players are somehow the issue in this situation. How many times must it happen for people to realise the club is the problem?
  19. I don't understand either of your questions but think I've said enough on the subject. If you want to believe the narrative being spread by club employees despite plenty of reasons to believe otherwise then go ahead, there's no evidence either way but we all know how this ends.
  20. Well it doesn’t matter in the context of my reply you said he hasn’t been offered anything I’m saying he has whether he’s been offered a reasonable contract I’d likely agree and say no but don’t change the goalposts mid debate
  21. Which was? Was Ismael straight open and honest about the Brittain Situation and what would the week after if still here?
  22. Who has evidence of anything? Ismael says one thing. Travis, Brittain and Tronstad said another. They refused to even entertain the prospect of new contracts in February, to the point of forcing Eustace out rather than keep him, yet by May/June have done it? Nah I think it is foolish to assume the bloke new to the club and being given his information by Pasha/Gestede is the correct version.
  23. Doesn't really matter - either way not a serious attempt to keep him and end result is the same
  24. Thought it was a decent game. Impressed with Brum - great intensity and played some good stuff. Big mistake was they scored and then sat back instead of going for killer second. Top 6 finish for them - Davies spoke well and clearly has them well drilled, thought Neumann and Osayi-Samuel were outstanding at the back and free transfer signings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ipswich were Ipswich, so resilient - McKenna is a terrific manager and still lining his ducks up in a row. A point tonight given where they are (in transition) is a great result. Will get promoted in 1st or 2nd. Brum will stuff us at Ewood next week - far better quality of player and so well coached.
