  1. Past hour
  2. How did Stanley play? any stand out players?
  3. I was at Accrington yesterday against Gillingham and was looking forward to seeing Bradley Dack playing. Sadly he was a shadow of himself as he struggled with the pace of the game. His injuries have clearly influenced this but he was portly too which didn't help. He started on the right side of midfield but was shifted inside to a role he is more accustomed to as a deep lying striker. Still his impact on the game was negligible and he was hooked after 70 minutes, probably 10-15 minutes later than I thought he should have been.
  4. We didn't announce that Karl Hodges gone Derby but we announced Nacho Sancho as his replacement Hasn't Waggott been working his notice to the end of July, So an appointment should be happening soon. They have employed Sports management agency to find a new CEO
  5. NEC really impressed me tbf. I expected them to be about as good as a bottom half Championship side, but they moved the ball really really well. I have a bit more respect for the Eredivisie outside of your PSV, Ajax and Feyenoord types now.
  6. You said you would be happy with 3 including Miller covering right back and centre back. I contested such a low number, you then totally moved the goalposts and created another "squad plan" with 5 new additions rather than the initial 3 you said you felt that we needed, yet continued with your initial argument. So you now dont think 3 is enough and youve added 2 more.
  7. What you have overlooked here RF99 is replacing Brittain with Miller and either using Leonard or not then replacing him as 3rd option Miller replace Brittain. We either use Leonard or loan him out and bring someone in. right winger we need Baradji or another midfielder we seem to want and centre back is still according to Jackson. Buckley hasn't been all summer and not an Ismael's type player. Never included him. Michalski seems 2nd choice currently so will we even replace Pears when he goes.
  8. Perhaps we should all attend the next one πŸ€”πŸ€”
  9. Utter, utter Shambles, the Circus roll's on. I implore you Glen tell us all what was really said and give us your honest thoughts...
  10. We almost went down that year. Wasn’t it about 90/91 season?
  11. Noticed on Bluesky that Nixon has said Rovers had someone at the training ground yesterday, presumably it is the other player the club is close to signing. If Baradji isn't in the squad for his club today then perhaps it's him. Like the sound of the Swedish fella, hopefully they can do both, but that probably means Travis or Tronstad is off. Hopefully they can get shut of Mafoumbi as well, just pay the lad off, he'll be on peanuts anyway.
  12. Yeah. I was thinking of that season where Garner and Sellars were both out for the start of the season after their groin surgery had been delayed at the same time. I don't think they returned until January!
  13. They haven't bothered filing Waggott's departure with Companies House, haven't even formally announced the departure of David Low nor have they bothered to find a replacement to lead the organisation. I don't think they will be taking the Forum Minutes too seriously myself
  14. If it’s a battle against similar players they’re ok. When they come up against footballers like they did yesterday they get bypassed too easily. The question is how many teams will we come up against that are as slick as NEC ?
  15. Baradgi not in squad for today’s game
  16. If the two of them dominate the opposition midfield the team generally play well if not, as we saw yesterday, we get overwhelmed and we are backs against the wall.
  17. We know what happens from Christmas, so the season the good starts stop I think it’s pretty obvious what happens next. So yeah, three points please 😬
  18. Much as I like Travis and Tronstad as individual players playing both of them together it makes us a very defensive and unthreatening team to play against. It’s really rare that either of them gets up to support the lone striker, never mind getting beyond them.
  19. Today
  20. If only football actually worked that way. It's business think, like saying we'll keep the old van and get another used one then when one's off the road the other will cover. Footballers ain't vans.
  21. Just to add to winger situation and it could be complete waffle. Been a lot of talk across different platforms of a winger being shown around training facilities last week. Deal was put on hold because all efforts were focused on Miller deal. Winger should be done before West Brom game but no names were mentioned. And Baradgi is being watched by Rovers when he plays today
  22. VI comments re the contract situation were telling. We wont lose both tronstad by all accounts happy to stay but does look like the writing could be on the wall for Travis although there hasn’t been an official approaches for him
  23. This will be the most comfortable home game WBA have this season. WBA 2 Rovers 0
  24. All the best with your surgery and recovery.
