Oh for the days when players didn’t have social media to vent their views, emotions, grievances etc etc. Tweets, photos, emojis, so boring and too much self indulgent garbage being spouted. We’re all supposed to feel sorry for rich footballers who feel hard done to because someone has dented their egos. Footballers and managers rarely show loyalty to their clubs, but my goodness do they milk it when they want a move, a bigger pay packet or feel hard done to. Football has become like an episode of Love Island off the field.

Doesn't really matter. It's still unprofessional and, quite frankly, a bit pathetic. I've had jobs end in bitter circumstances and had instances where I felt like I was mistreated or got the short end of the stick, but I didn't start running my trap on LinkedIn posts or fundamentally trolling my former employer. And that is in an environment where my former employer didn't have fans and supporters. She knows what she's doing or she's a moron. Either way, it's not a great look. A former player liaison is going further than former players are going. Just let that sink in for a minute. It lacks class. It lacks professionalism.

I think most posters on here, know only too well that there is something inherently wrong at the club. Granted it started 15 years ago, but the recent recruitment of Gestede and the prominent role that Sufi now seems to have, look to have created a big rift. How deep that goes, I do not know, but the old guard seem to have been largely cleaned out, so something looks very amiss.

The amount of times in the last few years I've thought "man if there was just a CM making a run into the box here they have the freedom of Ewood to pick their spot in the back of the net". So the player liaison officer is ‘so glad to be out’? She really should go to the police if we held her hostage or against her will, maybe she was hard done by, maybe she’s bitter or maybe it’s in the shades of grey. The club is a mess behind the scenes we know that but it’s easy to take shots once you have stopped being paid.

The dressing room will miss him but on the pitch I think we will not miss him too much. He did ok but on an attacking sense we neec more. However with a good extra forward we could find it hard to score
