  2. The sum requested is worded as to ‘fulfill its statutory and contractual obligations’ I don’t see how this can include money for potential transfers.
  3. Owners say we'll send half due to bond so you'll have to find the other half.... someone phones Wrexham... 🤔
  4. For the hard of thinking such as myself. What does it mean?
  5. From, what I have seen in the past, about this, I think the request needs to be made in such a way that everything needs itemising and therefore proof of exactly what the funds are for. In turn, they are then presented to the court and a NOC is given and a bond for the same amount needs to be paid. I believe this bond is now 50%. Given the amount requested, you have to assume that is for the day to day running of the club and not transfers, but does anyone know if that is the case and if what I have posted is accurate?
  6. Today
  7. Wow, that’s some statement. Thankfully, it’s incorrect. Have another go.
  8. Rovers requested the money 26th March Venkys filed an appeal with the court 22nd April Hearing confirms funds can be sent 26th May Venkys send Rovers the money ??????
  9. I presume they just took over the remainder of his existing wages but didn't want to commit until he'd proven himself.
  10. Ye part of the original set-up and then came back 8 years ago but under the radar.. Just trying to get chaddy to look deeper 😉
  11. Mostly agree, but it isn't unheard of at all. However it's pretty close to it for players of his age, who were on a longer deal at their existing club. It was a very odd deal. I can only think we weren't willing to pay a wage he wanted unless he proved himself, and he took the gamble for a chance to put himself in the Championship shop window. But I also suspect we must have bought out his existing contract, in which case why not just give him a longer deal here with that money and gain security. Very strange.
  12. Confirmed in the venkys court thread, documents are in there.
  13. Yes I do, that is one of the problems. 90% of sod-all, is sod-all.
  14. I do agree, but the odd person on here, can usually confirm, for definite.
  15. To me, it's as plain as day what's going on. No contract renewals; no new signings; rumours of outgoings....can only mean one thing IMO.
  16. Spot on. 100% of nothing = nothing. Job done. Exceeded our only promise (10% earlier). Good window.
  17. We've already completed 100% of our transfer business and so Ismael has his wish
  18. Do we know if they deposited the 50% in the bond to allow this to e released and then sent the amount to VLL to pay the liabilities? If they haven't, this could be the reason the Travis for sale rumours have started. if it was requested nearly 2 months ago, if it hasn't been sent, there could be major issues.
  19. Probably from the start in some or other !
  20. The ED investigation will be concerned with all Venky's activities of which Rovers are a part. Rovers get mentioned regularly in the court cases. Even if the initial trigger for the investigation was not Rovers related, they still need to go to court every time they need to fund the club. See below from last week's case. 26.05.2025 O R D E R 1. The present application has been filed by the petitioner seeking that the petitioner be allowed to remit a sum of GBP 4,850,000 to its wholly owned subsidiary, namely Venky’s London Limited, situated in London, United Kingdom. CM APPL.23948/2025 (for directions) 2. It is submitted that the petitioner has received a communication dated 26.03.2025 from the Chief Financial Officer of Blackburn Rovers Football Club, which is owned by the abovementioned wholly owned subsidiary of the petitioner.
  21. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
  22. Sad but true😔 How did we come to this.
  23. Dont do that.....just send your CV to them. Clog the works. Lets see how many are sent. Low Egos only, mind.
  24. Wrexham are like Rovers were on the early 90s. They’ll be in the Prem within 3 years.
  25. Can't even get Batth or Weimann to sign despite both playing big parts last season and having decent seasons. It really is tragic.
