  1. Past hour
  2. Excellent news. The usual suspects will be like blood to a hound with this. He didnt ask for more money will be turned into him actively not wanting to get promoted, even though all logic suggests that it was in his best interests to do it. And more blame can be taken away from the real reason that we have never really come close to promotion.
  3. Anyone who posts bullshit cryptic things like that on social media doesnโ€™t deserve a role at a professional football club in my opinion. 20+ years of experience or not, itโ€™s just not helpful to anyone. Just comes across like sheโ€™s bitter. Weโ€™ve been stuck in the doldrums for ages. Looks like weโ€™re finally mixing things up and trying something new rather than doing the same old shit every year. Glad weโ€™re shaking things up to be honest. And anyone stuck in a perpetual pity party should be let go.
  4. And? They're gone. We are still here - so glad we are 'In' ๐Ÿ˜‰ Just saying.
  5. The man who stood up to bullies and backed his friends and was then frozen out.
  6. Beginning to sound pretty toxic. What will we hear next? Certain employees make an official complaint about RG or SP...then get ..we..er.."moved on"?
  7. Mowbray on No Tippy Tappy. Lots of Rovers covered - budgets, Suhail, transfers... Some won't like what they hear. He seems a principled man in an unprincipled industry. ke
  8. Trav, Buckley and Leonard, all kicked off about her โ€œRedundancyโ€. All three were then frozen out. The new player liaison officer, is apparently a friend of Sufiโ€™s although Im not 100% on that yet.
  9. Hmm... I think Travis was really underrated, particularly since he came back from Ipswich. He was superb for us in spells. That said we've lost bigger players for us like BBD or Szmodics and gone on to be fine. No player bigger than the club etc. Its possible Tavares or Baradji will put him in the shade. All we can do is see what happens.
  10. To add to my earlier post, Lesley Fielding has recently tweeted this.
  11. On the Travis deal Iโ€™m glad thatโ€™s it over Iโ€™m glad he got his message in too hopefully we can draw a line under it and move on it will be months/years before weโ€™re likely to find out whatโ€™s gone on behind the scenes but the deal is now done so thatโ€™s the end of that chapter for now all the best to the lad will be missed his leadership was second to none and a big character and a great player to go to battle with
  12. Given the vast turnover in the squad replaced by players we have never really seen before I dont really have any expectations. I don't really know how any can to be honest. If we do challenge for the playoffs it will have been some absolutely sensational work by the ever changing scouting team, thats for sure.
  13. Look forward to us improving our league postition then.
  14. Absolutely. Turns 28 in October. He is now guaranteed Championship wages until 32.
  15. Who is poor after 3 games really? hull at the time were unbeaten in their two games one being away at Coventry who have scored 12 in 2 can we not just enjoy a win anymore and try and find some hope going forward
  16. Everything But the Girl - Even So
  17. Would that apply for the following season or the one after that? Is there any point at which it would become relevant?
  18. He's spent a lot of money assembling that team.
  19. 4 year contract might also factor in - even on same/similar money...
  20. If Rovers extended him no wonder he got taller ๐Ÿ˜
  21. Interesting who Trav did thank... and who he didn't. Curious that the club spent time creating that video if there genuinely was some bad blood at the end.
  22. I, for one, am not particularly sorry to see Travis go, nor indeed almost the entire โ€œleadershipโ€ group of players, none of whom struck me as leaders. 9 goals in 250 games is chronic for a central midfielder who allegedly has box-to-box tendencies - Super Atko got 34 in an almost identical number of games and at a higher level - and I tired of his pound shop Savage antics years ago. The fact is that all these senior players effing off were part of one or more of our annual collapses, used to falling short. A bit like a couple of other posters, Iโ€™m intrigued to see a new style under a manager who is growing on me by the day.
  23. Trav's statement was "read with feeling"?
  24. Like Lord Sauron, he's always watching.
