  1. Past hour
  2. Irrespective of whether the three signings are up to the required standard, would you not agree they're in areas where we were already relatively well stocked? (Assuming no-one leaves)
  3. Yeah that's another reason I just don't believe it. I don't believe we will pay a fee for someone who is 29 in a few months. I also don't believe we will give someone of that age a 3/4 year deal which he would no doubt want.
  4. I need an ironic thumbs up emoji for this
  5. Doing "what they can?" Is the "negativity" not understandable? We havent improved our attack which badly needs it, we have lost our best CB and currently only have one fully fit one, we have lost Dolan, lost Weimann, Brittain wants out, no contracts signed. Doesnt seem unreasonable.
  6. Very much an article where he knows too much time has passed not to write something. But he has absolutely no further information.
  7. The club has signed three guys. Based on need, Iโ€™d say theyโ€™re doing what they can. Honestly, the griping, & constant negativity gets old.
  8. I know you are reknown for hyperbole but can you explain why you think it would be "terrible." I'd get underwhelming perhaps if you said that or something similar, terrible is a strong word. Profile wise, good age, experienced but not over the hill, he is left footed, he hasnt ever stood out but he is a centre back playing for Hull and I have never seen him and thought he is a disaster either or a mistake waiting to happen. Hull fans in the main seem like they would rather not sell. All of our other signings have never played at this level before, he has plenty of times and could help to slightly fill the void of experience leaving. Probably not true as the source is dodgy and advanced talks means little with us anyway, but still.
  9. He's gone back to Switzerland. It was a medical issue. It could be off, it could be renogtiated. Splinters everywhere.
  10. The more you read about this lad the more exciting he gets. It would be typical rovers if this falls through due to an injury. Why don't we try a loan first with option to buy, that way we get an insight on how bad his injury is effects his progression.
  11. Advanced talks means very little as far as this football club is concerned
  12. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25320909.moussa-baradji-latest-blackburn-rovers-deal-balance/ Can't read the thing but headline suggests Beradji deal not totally dead.
  13. Could be a similar scenario to when Coventry needed to sell Hyam....but having said that with Hull being under embargo you'd think they need to keep hold of all the players they can.
  14. It's the perfect player for Blackburn Rovers to unsuccessfully bid on then isn't it.
  15. The owner most likely wants to claw back as much money as he can before administration and doesn't give a jot about how the team performs next season. They will surely fill one of the relegation slots next season, along with Sheff W. I don't even wanna think who may be joining them!
  16. I can't see a club letting that happen. Selling players, just to pay the costs of running the club, surely not.
  17. Elton John - Iโ€™m Still Standing
  18. The majority of his stories on us have been shocking so you maybe right. At a normal club I get this signing, but it's raising eyebrows that we are spending a fee on a soon to be 29 year old - Albeit it's not that old for CB.
  19. I recall the HSA one. I dont recall the Umbro one without a logo at all. I would still maintain that over the years when we've had a yellow kit the trim has GENERALLY been blue and it is supposed to be an anniversary kit not that the powers that be seem to have bothered about that.
  20. With all the overseas targets McLoughlin seems like a sensible recruit. Experienced at this level and regularly carries the armband for Hull. Agree with others that itโ€™s strange they are happy to let him leave in their current predicament. Unless they are cash strapped and need money to pay transfer instalments/ salaries
  21. No, Everton are in their home kit, weโ€™re in our away. Itโ€™s only a shirt, no need to get so upset. The FF didnโ€™t object, nah. Some were surprised, some didnโ€™t care (Hiya), as itโ€™s only a friendly. If that makes it a dereliction of duty, so be it. There are bags of things to criticise the current administration over, I donโ€™t think this is one of them, personally.
  22. O'Rourke is miles off it recently. We probably have an interest, but no way do I believe that talks are "advanced".
  23. As Iโ€™m sure you knowโ€ฆworn only onceโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜‰
