  1. Past hour
  2. Sorry but their crying is hilarious 😂
  3. He literally qualified the comment by saying it doesn't matter Besides, you don't get to decide what people factor in to their decision making on his capability. I find him abrasive and dismissive. He fits right in to the Suhail-Gestede power trip.
  4. Ayari quality was there to see. He needed to play. Sanderson is more than good championship centre back I have already said very clearly we need a centre back but I would moved Carter on and bring back O'Riordan to fill his spot. I think we need but also we have a couple of options that allow us to moved back to different formation if we need to. We should also have a Plan B in case Plan A doesn't work. I don't we should be such an overhaul of the forward area during a January transfer window. It will be more difficult to find 1 striker signing given most Championship will be looking at similar players. But you still doing an overhaul during a season which I wouldn't do. Move Pickering and Gueye fine but others, not for me and It is far too soon to write players Henriksson and Tavares at this stage. These players will be needed and lets see if they can step up now. so you keep saying time after time. 😴
  5. Yep unlikely indeed. Have we missed Cantwell do you think?
  6. This was the reason for my post and that it feels strange to feel positive lol 😆 no drugs taken
  7. Will Southampton give their interim head coach Tonda Eckert the job full time, winning games and scoring goals. Norwich under Phillippe Clement lost his first game. Vitor Matos set to be appointed as Swansea's head coach. Was Klopp's first team coach at Liverpool last season. Interesting choice there Its the Sheffield derby game today at 12pm. Should be good game to watch. Its does look like Sheffield Wednesday will go down but they will have new owners before Christmas, so they will get an early present.
  8. They seem to moved away from last season winning formula. I also think they didn't need to sign Isak and Ekitike. Ekitike should be first choice tho given his form. Instead of spending so big on Isak, I would have look for number 6 player(defensive midfielder player, centre back and back up striker. Salah is massively off form and are they actually missing TAA.
  9. Firstly, I don't know why whether you warm to him or not is even a factor in an opinion on Ismael or his media comments. Surely that should be non-issue. Its should be based on results and performances only. I think Ismael is doing well at the minute. The away form is very good and one of the best in the league, so he and the players deserved huge credit for that. The home form isn't good enough and we need to get better results whilst performances have been good tho. So that's need improving for me Is win record is better than Eustace record but Eustace has more points per game cos of more draws he had.
  10. Today
  11. Sadly it is more likely, based on the modus operandum of those behind the curtain, that the team will not be bolstered in January, but butchered instead. Whilst I like to hope that dead wood would be cleared out (Big Mak needs to move on, imo, for example) I am more worried that players who have grasped the opportunity to show some capability during the first half of the season (e.g. Gudjohnnsen, Cantwell, Alebiosu, and even Hedges) will be touted out as a way of generating cash flow for keeping the lights on a little longer. Thank goodness Balaz Toth is injured (and how crap that I should be typing such a sentence) 😞 I agree with your sentiment that the players seem to have found a miraculous formula that works (away from home) but I wonder how much of it is Dumbo's feather, and how much is actual team spirit derived from a reality of utter adversity? Let's hope the potion (whatever it is) doesn't wear off at Christmas..(as usual for good old Blackburn Rovers, the best team on the day). COY potion induced grafting B!
  12. Yesterday
  13. It’s why no one can get close to him. It’s not two touch football with Adam, it’s one touch. His vision and technique is second to none.
  14. This nice little run is very welcome but the big test of this very thin squad is ahead - the games come thick and fast, and injuries and tiredness will take their toll. We desperately need experienced cover in defence for the missing Wharton and Carter and in other parts of the team too. Will those players be coming to the club to help the manager and keep the momentum going? Very unlikely.
  15. Its growing away attendances that are keeping our numbers up though.
  16. What on earth is Zwolle? Never mind it is explained in a post further down.
  17. Better he cheats rather than the refs be competent huh?
  18. I thought we were already there! Credit to the manager who is getting the best in a very difficult situation with injuries to key players. To be fair, whilst we have lost a few matches, the performances have been decent. I don’t subscribe to the theory that home support has influenced results. Rovers fans will always get behind the team regardless of off field matters. Yes we are short on numbers of fans but over 17000 turned up against Derby so no excuses there. We also have to remember that our stadium was rebuilt to accommodate 31000 fans in the Premier league and can’t possibly look full with an average of less than 15000.
  19. What about Gudjohnsen when he scored 2. Maybe headed goals from crosses.
  20. Does not matter refs seldom call for him. Just one against Preston where he was wrestled to the ground and they get the free kick. I love it when the opposition CH at about 6' 5" goes down from lil old Yukis touch and win the foul. Same with BigMac opponents seem to get away with murder but he gets called for almost any little touch. I for one am just getting sick of the crap refs we seldom get the crap in our favour though.
  21. I remember Grabbi having a goal disallowed for fouling Bartez was it? home to United. Was another Ferguson call, ie nowt wrong with it. I always felt had that goal stood things would have been different for him. Yeah Souey got that one wrong, bought him on the back of video highlights did he not?
  22. It will end like it does every year when the games come thick and fast and our squad size means we can’t put out a competitive 11.
  23. This is it, alot will forget the behind the scenes stuff after the emphatic win. Just feel like this corner turn is for the fans to give our brains a break from the circus behind closed doors and we can enjoy our football again to a certain degree.
  24. You've hit the nail on the head there, God loves a trier and fans will forget a lot of failings if the team is giving it everything. Last night they just wanted it more, and Miller epitomised it perfectly. Not the most gifted, can give the ball away, but leaves absolutely nothing out there. The way he put their player over the line early on set the scene.
  25. Can't fault the team for the effort they're putting in most weeks, they look like they're getting comfortable with each other and the recent system that's been adopted. Staying up or even finishing mid-table won't be an achievement based on where we have been in the recent past, but considering the amount of Championship experience that's been let go and replaced with cheap alternatives it would be an achievement for the manager and players. The league is wide open this season, I think more than it has been in a really long time, so it's a shame we chose now to cut everything back - even more so than previously. We definitely could have been up there with a genuine shot of a playoff position if we had owners with even the slightest inclination towards being ambitious.
  26. One thing he does exceptionally well is scan the pitch. Watch him off the ball; he never stops scanning. The elite players do it and he's always had it in his locker - it's why he's a step ahead of most players he comes up against.
