I actually think TGH is decent as a player (lower Championship/top League One) however I see nothing of Travis shithousery in him, only stuff that could be interpreted as late and/or dirty, and some stupidity that should've had him sent off (Sheff Utd). -

Well he's had the last laugh twice now already so the mongs with the snakes and the boos need to STFU, grow up and take it on the chin. Mind you there'll probably only be about 700 at the next game down there now the needle has backfired. -

We can agree on this bit, which highlights how stupid this strategy was. Points - or the lack of those - can see us relegated. I'll be genuinely surprised if four of our acusitions this summer turns out to be top half Championship players, but of course nothing is better than if we have a dozens of Alebiosus in disguise, waiting to be polished. -
No, he's playing in a league that suits his current level of ability

The away game last season, as you well know. -
They weren't a fluke, they were just played in fortunate circumstances. Generally such things probably even themselves out over the course of a season though (the Ipswich game, for example, turned out to be an unfortunate circumstance for us where we probably would have won), so the only thing anyone should be focused on is where we are in the table right now and how likely it is that our form will improve versus the teams around us in the coming months.

That was just a late, clumsy lunge for the ball, no? Their #32 sized the Miller foul up - far dirtier. -

As usual we'll have to agree to disagree when it comes to talent evaluation. -

That's part of it, yes. The other part is asking 10 players to hit the ground running in one of the toughest leagues in the world. Even if you hit on all of them, which I don't think we have, it takes time to adapt and unfortunately points are being played for during that period. -

The three I've highlighted were low fees. Brereton was a weird flight of fancy by Mowbray et al. They would have profited from Dack if he didn't blow both of his knees out... -

Did he do anything yesterday besides score from a wonderful corner kick? He wouldn't be getting that service here... -

I think losing Toth for three months really fucks us over. However I don't think those three wins in a row were a fluke like many of you seem to. -

Ok and who are you playing out wide in the 4-2-3-1? And which of our two strikers are you ineffectually playing as the 1 in said formation? -
There is. They’ll sell key players in January and the manager who’s out of his depth will clap along with it.

Cos it is footballing decision. I have explained my opinion MORE THAN ONCE which is shared by Alan Shearer and Theo Walcott, so why can't you just simply accept it RF99? Their squad isn't good enough to stay up. I have made my comments on budgets and targets based on article I've read on Edwards appointment and likely budget and transfers in the Athletic. -

oxfords and portsmouths home form will be vital to them.other than those two i can`t envisage any other team apart from us being in a relegation fight,it`s going to be close -
Being paid more money to manage Wolves at a higher level, it’s a free hit effectively this season, if he keeps them up, he’s a hero. If they go down, they’ll have one of the biggest budgets to try and get back up. Nah, no idea why he’d be tempted 😅.

Well yes, but they wouldnt continue without any articles to read. Factual or otherwise. Either way, we both know how January windows go here. -
With Sheffield United having a much better squad than us and Norwich changing manager, you’d imagine they’ll climb the table eventually. That leaves two more spots after Sheffield Wednesday. Oxford are below us and you’d imagine won’t get too far up the table, I’d have thought Pompey would be more capable of doing that though. So really, we’ll have to get our act together to stay up.
