Having taken another look at the regs I’m even more certain of that: His current club is now in a lower band - the fact his last match (if he hadn’t played) would’ve been in a higher band doesn’t change the one his club are now in. There's an "end of days" feeling about Rovers now. How long can Venkys put off the final countdown? How will it end? How many relegations before they've had enough? Can they close the team down completely? They were ruthless with the Women's team after all. How do we think it will end?

If Liverpool need a striker then Rovers must be in ICU on life support with our strike force!?!? Ekitike looked the real deal to me - an all round striker with football intelligence. Don't worry about anyone going. Jackson said there club have extensive lists for replacement players should any of the "1 year contract" players leave. I'm sure the lists will be of excellent, championship level quality.
