  1. Past hour
  2. Messi, Neymar and Ronaldo all by next Monday. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  3. Amorim trying to deflect blame to his technical director (apparently not allowed to say his name) recently in the usual backstabbing that goes on at that club. Jack Walker never behaved like that hopefully he will get what he deserves soon.
  4. Travis was a very competent defensive midfielder and reliable yellow card collector who is the sort of player oppositions prefer not to come up against. A great servant of the club but at his age time to cash in from football while he still can. Good luck to him. In the cold world of money, he is worth more to Derby than he is to Rovers. As someone else posted, Adam Wharton was a kick in the balls of every Rovers supporter. This is business.
  5. Tbf they weren't saves you wouldnt expect any keeper to make. He does have a knack for making routine saves look showy. However assomeone who isn't a fan,. he's improved a lot since he first came in. He needed to.
  6. Iโ€™m sure there are many who share your views. I guess there will be those who feel that a football club is part of the social fabric of a town/city but increasingly, given the gentrification of the game, football has become just another commodity to be consumed like a Big Mac without thinking too much. . As for control, well I wonder why clubs hire an army of voices to manufacture and massage public opinion. And why certain fan actions at many clubs around the world have caused change. And of course there are plenty who just like โ€˜debatingโ€™ โ€“hence a lively messagboard. ๐Ÿ™‚
  7. So glad we are out, did they really say that? Jees
  8. Indeed - although not in year 1! Massive deflection and a dodgy pen in the last ten minutes making a draw out of what seemed like an easy win.
  9. Can someone please make up a transfer rumour?! It's got to the point where people are trawling through LinkedIn profiles of Rovers employees.
  10. Coming second to Celtic wouldnโ€™t have been too surprising and as long as they were competitive enough in the cups and Europe he would easily have waffled himself to another decent gigโ€ฆ though the way he is completely tanking in a matter of weeks may see him run out of road.
  11. There's no use in us arguing semantics, I don't think saying Hull were dreadful is downplaying a result, you do. Fine. That's why I said a real start. Of course the points count, let's not be silly. Two wins in a row and I would consider our season truly underway.
  12. It's a linkedin profile that appears to have never been updated since it was created, barring one repost 3 years ago https://www.linkedin.com/in/beverley-phillips-784b627b/?originalSubdomain=uk Can't really use that as cast iron guarantee that someone is still doing what they were doing when they made a profile, if they seem to have never updated it in the first place
  13. How can selling decent Championship players with vast experience and replacing them with cheaper, unproven players be good news ? It is cost cutting which could turn out to be false economy once all the saleable playing assets are gone. The policy is driven by Pasha wanting to save money for his employers not by any ambition to build a decent team.
  14. It was TM, himself, who said that he told the owners he didn't want more money. I heard him say it!
  15. Believe from where? given her profile says she is still there according to her profile
  16. One of the issues with modern day football in my opinion and what's making it cumbersome to watch or enjoy. What is he even saying in that interview? I know we don't see him day in and day out, but would you run through brick walls for him? I'm getting the same way with Slot, he struck me as a bit arrogant last year at times, but he was being fawned over because it was all working. Two games in this season and he sounded like a right dick talking about Newcastle's approach being "not football". We all know the ultra Dutch way gets found out in this country.
  17. Personally, I thought at the time we were massively thin skinned when it came to that. He's obviously quite an emotional guy in a high-scrutiny job, and he ended up saying a handful of slightly ill-advised things when a microphone was shoved under his face after a loss. Agree that some of his errors were shockers. Bradley Johnson as a 10 sticks in the mind!
  18. I believe this lady has been finished too.
  19. Pretty much where my head went when news about Hyams contract offer started bubbling.
  20. It seems to be a lad from Accrington Stanley called Kasom Shah but I am not 100% as yet.
  21. I imagine that "middle point" is that a contract was offered, but on the same wage as he was already on
  22. Some people stating "we don't know the truth about Trav" and similarly people are talking about the player liaison officer stating "she's out of order for saying that". Essentially on a hiding to nothing because there's no universal way to approach it that would appease every single fan. My view on these matters are always the same. Whether you believe what VI has said or what Trav has stated at times (e.g. the lack of a contract offer). Both will have their own agenda for their own reasons, the truth is likely somewhere in the middle.
