  1. Past hour
  2. Bruce Springsteen night on BBC 2 tonight.
  3. I don't think they'll spend money on Trav and he'll be looking for a long term deal as well so they'll not tie that type of brass up in him i don't think. Batth i think that will happen, not sure about Weimann at his age and injury status he'd be daft to walk away from here.
  4. Today
  5. Yeah, I can definitely see Batth going there....maybe Travis, hard to tell yet. Sounds like they're also keen on a Weimann reunion. I'm not convinced Derby will be pushing top 6 next season. I think they'll be in that middle group at best with the likes of Swansea, Millwall, Stoke, etc. If Batth, Weimann and Travis are their targets then that reads as mid table consolidation to me, and next season will arguably be the toughest championship for attempting to get top 6.
  6. And that was one of the more polite things he said. 😂 It's fair to say he neither rated me nor liked me and that's how it was - it went with the territory.
  7. Seem to remember him saying something on the lines of " no not you fucking refereeing us" when you bumped into him before a game. I could have just made that up Tony, this aging things a bugger 🥴
  8. if you are trousering 300lk a year for doing nothing but cutting costs, being incompetent and keeping your silence then you arn`t going to turn it down😆
  9. "We want you to be our new CEO, but you won't be able to speak to the owners, the only person who can is the COO who should be subordinate to you yet actually runs the club" Only the daft, desperate or grateful for a job would take that, not a CEO worth the name.
  10. It must be the 'homer referees' quote you refer to Ian. 😂 To be fair though he didn't like me when I refereed his team at Millmoor. 😂
  11. Here’s the podcast link… Still to this day one of our most popular episodes…
  12. One for @arbitro here…& anyone who listened to the episode of the podcast where we interviewed Tony will get the reference. Check biggest drag in soccer answer…😁
  13. She wrote the article for athletic and New York times re Rovers womens football team being shit on. Any publicity highlighting our dysfunctional owners and useless gravy train cohorts running the club into the ground is worth its weight as far as I'm concerned
  14. If you pay someone enough for a doddle they'll keep their mouths shut and let others run it whilst fronting it up so external or internal doesn't really matter as under this ownership the same script will be followed.
  15. He did a great job keeping Derby up and good on him. Infuriating/embarrassing that he is the second excellent manager we’ve had leave us in 2 years due to our moronic ownership. I dare say either coach could have seen us promoted to the promised land with just modest investment. The complete lack of ambition shown to not capitalise on that opportunity is appalling.
  16. Seen as though she works for the athletic and has colleagues talking about it I would say there might be something in it
  17. Would love to be a journo and just read twitter pretending it's insider scoops
  18. nailed on the blue sky and sunshine brigade will slate dolan for his disloyalty
  19. no fences and seemingly rovers fans in the darwen end🙂before my time this!!!!! some "whole hearted" tackles going in as well
  20. and we’ll still see fans on twitter that think everything’s sunshine and rainbows
  21. i’m sick of these owners, so boring and predictable. I guarantee our manager leaves after another diabolical January transfer window.
  22. I now expect Batth and Travis to sign 10 year contracts at Rovers within the next week
  23. Spent some time around the Peak District this week and got talking to an Exec Box holder at Derby. He reckoned both Travis and Baath were 'nailed on' signings for Eustace. Seems like most of the Derby fans were resigned to relegation and they still can't believe how Eustace managed to haul them out of the huge hole they found themselves in. I dread to think what our squad will look like come our first match of the new season. I've no doubt Derby will be pushing for top six whilst we struggle to keep out of the bottom three.
