  1. Past hour
  2. Yep, he played for both at U17 and I think also U16 level too
  3. Tomorrow should be a good marker of where we are at after a set of good performances but only one win. looking forward to it and the sense of mystery still about all the new signings. Fingers crossed for 3 points and a performance to match!
  4. Don't think it means anything until it's a senior cap. See Grealish and Rice.
  5. I hope they task the double agent with leading the mole hunt like the FBI used to do.
  6. He is spot on, so he knows from someone.
  7. How does Tyjon play for England and Poland at the same time, does he have a twin?
  8. Thanks mate. Lots now know so he should get a nice send off. Im in Spain so will be watching on Rovers TV as usual and will applaud from there.

  10. I don't think he does get that much ire though. He probably got more in the early 2000s in fairness, but I think most fans always recognised he was doing his best. Doesn't alter the fact that it was a catastrophe of a transfer. Huge money and a big contributing factor to getting relegated. Agree that there are lots of examples where we've had players where the shoe has been on the other foot. Danny Graham at Sunderland is one that comes to mind.
  11. Watching the managers interview - Iโ€™d agree with you!
  12. 'Big Mac' a colossus and maybe the best ยฃ20k Rovers have ever spent. Hard as nails and Fergie revealed in his autobiography Mac threatened to kill him during one game and he was loitering with intent outside the dressing room post match waiting for Fergie! As you say, so influential in dragging Rovers back from the precipice and I recall he weighed in with his fair share of goals for a ch - think he got into double figures with Rovers. Sadly, he succumbed to Alzheimer's and Parkinson's passing away last year in his 80's.
  13. In the same season as ยฃ7.5 mil (including future international, Rovers fan James Beattie) for Kevin Davies!
  14. I never get the ire directed at him. Flopped here, true but did good elsewhere. It happens a lot - both ways. Ie we get someone who we think is uselesss, they go on somewhere and do well. And vice versa. All about timing, luck, surrounding players and all sorts of other factors. One that sticks in my mind is Franny Jeffers -not necessarily his time here but he looked cracking at Everton and then went to Arsenal? and flopped. Stars wax and wane. And also, your shelf life can be short. A striker can be the dogs for a bit and then there is another one off the rank. edit I guess it was the price tag for Davies and he didn't do much (but not entirely his fault).
  15. ยฃ4.25m for Blake and then Brian Kidd came along and spent ยฃ4.25 on Ward ๐Ÿซฃ
  16. I thought it was the other way round. Always sad to see young players go but business is business I guess.
  17. I think it will end up with... Leonard staying No strikers signed Midfielder on loan in on deadline day, not Browne.
  18. Thank God there's only another 3 days left of this madness. Just be happy when it's 7pm on Monday and we know where we stand
  19. Today
  20. If you don't wish to believe it I'm absolutely fine with it, got as far as sorting his 'exit message' apparently.
  21. Tyjon called up for England U18 (having already been called up for Poland U18
  22. Speaking of youth academy products, philips is in the England under 21 squad
  23. If that is true then Leonard won't be going there. MacAnthoney isnt one to be messed about, especially not by inexperienced know nothings like Pasha.
  24. Kin hell - Pasha & MacAnthony, what an horrific stand off.
  25. We were destined for relegation until he brought 'Big Mac' in from Newcastle. That guy literally dragged us up from the floor and restored some pride back into the old club. 'Big Mac's' importance in the history of this club can never be overstated.
  26. Gudjonson and Smit both seem to be guys who have one good season in 23/24 and then were a bit rubbish in 24/25, neither is particularly inspiring if we want a starter to challenge Ohashi.
