  1. Past hour
  2. Its all about opinions.. Perth was always going to be a bit of a 'shoot out' for me, we usually win those types of games. On to Gabba next, well done Australia, we'll get you next time.
  3. He needs to hold his bosses to account om the crowd thing they've killed the Blackburn End iv'e never seen it as empty for league games. Stupid targeted pricing policy designed to squeeze the most popular area for local adults. The ONLY way to boost rovers crowds is do what North End and Bolton did a few years ago with season tickets, price according to your local market not national statistics. By the way, when they had a big crowd and atmosphere last time out they flopped as did Preston last night so maybe just maybe it's really all down to the team management and recruitment.
  4. I don’t think they always play the opposition and for me that is the issue. They certainly don’t seem to have much of an ability to ‘change tack’ mid match. When it works it’s great but when it doesn’t (such as today) it’s awful - I hoped by now they might have found more of a middle ground.
  5. Yes, there are 'fans' who believe that its up turn up in big numbers and shout loudly in support of the lads. They have the wrong way round. The Club provides the entertainment, if we a) like it and b) think its value for money---we turn up. They have to provide the package first, we aren't obligated in any way.
  6. I know and I’m not criticising either those that attend and create little atmosphere or indeed those who choose not to attend, but the point remains that it’s a pretty crappy place to play. Ultimately we all know the main reason of course, the wankers in Pune.
  7. We have absolutely no situational awareness.
  8. From the hour I’ve watched this morning, we’ve just been Bazballed. This second test was a mullering, let’s have it right.
  9. They don't always 'Go for it' as we saw earlier this year against India. They play the opposition, most of the time we win, occasionally we lose, but we do have room for a draw or 2, I’ll give you that. We've scored over 800 against Pakistan, over 500 against NZ, over 500 against Zimb, winning many of these tests. Don't let the 'nay sayers' on here muddy the waters, the facts speak louder than the bullshit,
  10. But the crowd's will only increase when the team start's winning..and then there's the off field bollox. God only knows what the crowd will be v QPR!
  11. Pathetic and as predicted. You can get away with batting like amateurs in one innings but not a second time. Horrible losing to them in any circumstances but this is a humiliation.
  12. It’s creeping into the game at all levels. City started the fashion.
  13. Bazball is absolutely cretinous. Not having a decent defence to back up trying to hit it out the park is utterly useless. I agree with Wilsdenrover that the openers should be able to absorb the pressure and build the innings. If they play like this in the second test, McCullum and Stokes must be binned off at the end of another humiliation.
  14. You could tell in Millers post match interview he was hinting at the poor crowds and atmosphere contributing to the poor home form and it’s hard to disagree
  15. Play like that at home and there's no reason we can't beat anyone in our own gaff. Sustain the association form build the hone form and we'll be top 6 in no time. 6 points away from 6th place. 9 points away from 22nd place.
  16. What a splendid night out, well played Rovers. Absolutely terrific backing in the away end, which Ismael rightly pointed out.
  17. Sorry to hear that matey x We put on a good show and raised the roof off Dumpdale 😊
  18. He did well overall but he is so shaky. Made 3 really good stops. The shot in the 2nd minute I thought was going in but he stopped it without putting it on a plate. Goid double save later too thiugh the 2nd stop was if his own doing and a touch fortunate. If you gonna punch make contact. Couple of dicey clearances too and there was their goal he perhaps could have done better. All's well that ends well
  19. Let's see if he's here past January first. If we keep winning more than losing will they back him, will they hell.
  20. If that happens, we will be chucking in Litherland/Atcheson at centre back or Houghton at right wing back (or moving Gardner-Hickman/Montgomery there) Terrifyingly thread bare
  21. Just turned this on. Good grief.
  22. There is always a sense of uncertainty about Pears, pulled off a few good saves mind.
  23. Today
  24. Here’s a question… The first role of an opener used to be to see off the new ball. If they’re always just going to ‘go for it’ from ball one is there any reason to use specialists (I use that term lightly in regard to ours!)? Personally I don’t see the point, we might as well just pick the best six batsmen we have and draw lots for what order they bat in.
  25. I was thinking last night why does Yuki get twatted so much, he's always in the wars. I would absolutely hate to play against him though, he doesn't give you a minutes peace all night it's relentless. Pretty sure he gets a stray elbow or a late challenge as a direct result! Morishita to a lesser extent was similar last night, I think being in the same team as Yuki is helping him adapt too, I don't think we've seen anything like the best of him just yet.
