  1. Past hour
  2. Its more based on the fact that they havent signed new deals yet. We have seen it all before.
  3. Given our history with contract negotiations over the past 18 months, this one probably looks more true than his other stories, no? That doesnt answer the question.
  4. Even when we were the best team in the country we couldn't fill a 31k stadium. With the overall rise in crowds over the last 30 years we could well have got to filling the stadium regularly had we stayed as a leading Premier League club. I guess it depends on how you define a fan base. Does it include those who will turn up for the occasional big match and take a casual interest in what is going on? If that is the case then 13k is a minority of that total. If you only include those who would ever go regularly to games (depending on the success of the team and other factors relating to the club, such as it's ownership) and/or take a more detailed interest in the club then 13k is a significant proportion. I respect those who have deliberately boycotted - that must be a painful thing to do. But surely the reality is that the managed decline of the club and the lack of success on the field is the key factor in the hollowing out of the support. The season in League One showed that supporters will return if there is a genuine prospect of success.
  5. Or Nixon knows and our Club reporter is getting fed a pack of lies...Just like the Sagnan story...
  6. No surprise whatsoever and just further evidence that we will never go anywhere but down with this ownership. 2 of our best players are now likely to be sold for a fraction of their value and replaced with inferior quality. Get these scumbags out of our club.
  7. That may well be the case on the actual anniversary shirt - like the 125 oneโ€ฆhereโ€™s mine expertly framed by @StubbsUK (plug..๐Ÿ˜†)
  8. I would think Andy Watson knows his stuff on these issues so now you believe Nixon when it suits your opinion but when it doesn't he is WUM. You need to make your mind up
  9. Quite a few on here will believe Nixon when it suits. The rest of the time they slag him off saying he hasnโ€™t got a clue. Itโ€™s very odd.
  10. Arenโ€™t you one of those that says Nixon talks shite?
  11. Isn't that just speculation though? I could also say we are struggling to do the deals without any insight into proceedings. Imo he's laying the groundwork for a summer of "CONTRACT SITUATION UPDATE" stories to get his ยฃ2.
  12. Anyone sensible has seen it all before. Rovers dont want these players anymore when they can be replaced by cheap foreign imports on less than half there wages.
  13. What a sham of a club. Talk of Brittain negotiations progressing well and making us confident, weve heard it all before.
  14. That's it, grown adults putting everything down to Mumbo Jumbo rather than just say he did a good job.
  15. To the surprise of nobody Nixon saying we're "struggling" to do the Travis and Brittain deals ๐Ÿ˜‚
  16. Today
  17. It's was decent game.. Inter Miami would have lost with their 38 year old keeper Oscar Ustari making saving good saves including a penalty save. Tho Al Alhy keeper made a great save in the last 5 mins.. I will watch some games like the City and Chelsea ones plus some others
  18. We have 2 ESC slots available for any players who doesn't reach 15 points
  19. We are Blackburn Rovers, not a big city club, of course 13,000 is a big chunk of the fanbase. The fact the wider fansbase has no issue filling the ground for games like Burnley either shows there isnโ€™t a vast number of folk โ€˜boycottingโ€™ or morally against Venkyโ€™s.
  20. Well this topic is going well
  21. For fucks sake not this again. Totally embarrassing that a grown adult does not understand the most basic concept of luck. Jesus Christ.
  22. Both. Thick as pig shit and grifters.
  23. So you're following Bayern Mรผnchen that are managed by the ex dingle? Personally I have no interest in this Mickey Mouse sham competition.
  24. I don't have a problem with him at all. When it mattered, he gave his all and kept us up virtually single handedly. Who in their right mind would give up what might have been their only chance of Premiership football in favour of staying at this shitshow? If I did have a gripe with him it would be that after one season here I thought he was rubbish. In season 2 he proved he was a great player. If he'd performed anything like that in season 1 we'd have definitely made the play offs and could quite easily have been promoted.
