  1. Past hour
  2. I just watched the game and I am quite literally flabbergasted. Nit going to get into the ref, it is just a given now that we will get fooked one way or another by the man in the middle. Yet again we drop 2 points in the dying seconds. It is VI. He always pulls off the most industrious players and replaced then with lazy no good layabouts. I don't know if it was Tavares or Baradji that simply refused to run fir a pass just a few yards away. Disgraceful. It is not the first time yet VI keeps doing it. We always go from playing at least decent if not well to barely hanging on, open spaces everywhere, players not closed down and then the sucker punch. That Tavares, well he would never pull the shirt on again if I was manager. We played really well. I used to have a soft spot for Ipseich but I hate em now. They cheat, faking injury always mouthing the ref, cynical challenges and just general shit mongers. What a waste of a good performance. Two game changing non decisions, it was a red and it was a pen in Ohashi. Again BugMac wrestled tonthe ground and the free kicks go the other way. VInreally needs to learn how to close games out and it is not by bringing on your laziest players. Fumin here. GRRRRRR.
  3. Yes, I agree - they didn't make much noise even when they equalised. I'm not sure they could quite believe the unlikeliness of it, and there was probably more of a sound from the collective Victor Meldrew outburst from the home faithful than there was any shout of joy from the tractor children, particularly as most would have had to accept that Rovers had done enough on the evening to be worthy of the victory. The whoosh of the hapless Christian Walton's limbs through the air as he flailed back towards the Blackburn End in high excitement was more noticeable than the huzzah from the (prior to that) humbled travelling tractor faithful. For all his faults, HairPears was noticeably less prone to putting his defence under unnecessary direct pressure than the Ipswich stopper, who didn't fill me with great confidence, despite appearing to have grown a foot or so since his stint in the Rovers' ranks. History now. Time to move on and learn. Dopey twats!
  4. Today
  5. 2.5k quietest lot we've had all season by far.
  6. I don't think anyone needs to have played at a top level to 'get it'. For me it's much like coaching. Some of the best coaches never played at anything near the top level. If you've spent a few years playing the local leagues or regional leagues then you'll have a good grasp on the ins and outs of the game from a playing perspective.
  7. He should make a list of all the ahit decisions that the owners and senior management have made and display that at his next post match interview. Unfortunately for him, his own appointment will be on there somewhere .
  8. The town has been systematically deprived for over 40 years. The only thing keeping the town alive really was the football club. Since venkys came and destroyed it the whole town has gone completely down the toilet like many other similar towns across the North of England. The nightlife was absolutely banging until the government decided to heavily crack down on underage drinking meaning the 16-17 year old students from Blackburn college and St Marys that were the lifeblood of that scene now couldn't get in anywhere whereas previously the pubs and clubs would look the other way. Combined with the deliberate efforts to deprive the town economically, leaving the majority of people without any money for a night out, the town is completely dead. The only thing that put the town in any kind of spotlight and garnered any kind of outside attention was the football club. As I've said previously, if you have any pride in the town or the football club then you absolutely despise venkys and anyone or anything associated with them. The detrimental effect they've had on the town is immeasurable and they are a huge reason for the place being as shit as it is.
  9. Just make the tickets cheaper. It isn't difficult. Well, it is if you're a complete fucking lemon.
  10. Yesterday
  11. Surely data should identify if a player is worth looking at and eyes should decide whether we actually try to sign them.
  12. How about four matches where each one you attend gets progressively cheaper? ie. first £25, second £20 third £15 fourth £10. Go to them all and you’ve averaged out at £17.50. Perhaps even make it any four matches rather than them having to be consecutive.
  13. Were we? I don't remember hearing them once until they scored, and I remarked on how quiet they were for a reasonable sized following.
  14. Yep, but is them Venkys or the auditor… ’interesting’ development either way.
  15. Maybe Ismael could do a list of critical errors made by players this season. I imagine he’d need more than one sheet of paper.
  16. I acknowledged that the referee made a mistake and it was frustrating. But we went into injury time with a lead anyway and again threw it away. It doesnt surprise me to see you parrot the manager and just brush our own repeated failings under the carpet. A culture of excuses. If you are watching De Neve coming on and are not seeing how out of his depth he looks then you are seemingly watching a different player than the majority.
  17. The Owls will be playing for fun, as it is pretty certain that the season will end in relegation for their club, and not withstanding the payment (or not) of their wages going forward, they can afford to see themselves as very much either in the shop window or in the swansong of their journeys as professional footballers. Ceteris paribus Rovers should be capable of competing, especially if the energy levels of last night are repeated (over 90 plus minutes), but we haven't demonstrated much in terms of consistency in a positive sense this season, so perhaps it might be too much to expect us to put on a show. Feck it. Just go for it for the whole game lads. We will never criticise you for doing that...(but we mean THE WHOLE FECKING GAME!) Predictions? Nope. Speculation? Of course. Let's make them Owl all the way Ome to 'Illsborough - Rovers 3 Owls 0 Hoots mon and Haggis it's a foul feathered hangover - Rovers 1 Owls 2 That's tawny it, Chansiri's cast-off-cast-aways-cast cretinous chaos on the leafless trees of EWood Rovers 0 Wednesday 6 COYB!
  18. You everytime ignored the impact of referee poor choices of decisions. What did he actually do wrong? Or not useful sub? Did we look poorer with him on the pitch? Not at all. Baradji downgraded? What did De Neve do during his cameo that was so awful?.
  19. That's them acknowledging in a roundabout way promotion is a pipe dream and less likely than it ever even was before due to the downgrade in players.
  20. Sunderland the better team at Anfield. Liverpool got lucky again.. Good job Cheisa chased all the way back otherwise its a defeat
  21. I'd agree almost wholeheartedly with that. Personally Id add Miller to the list of players who are "Not Championship standard" and upgrade Alebiosu slightly to "very good". A pretty dismal return out of ten players. What's Owen's "data" written in - braille?
  22. And then have key players out for the Sheff Wed game ? I assume he takes players off because he knows he has to keep them relatively fresh.
  23. They got away with it to some extent with another lateish goal. 1-1. Isidor was clean through from the half way line in injury time but failed to convert the winner for Sunderland.
  24. First 30 mins yesterday were the first times I saw him actually affect a game further than 5 yards out, but as the game went on he vanished again before popping up for the goal. I said it yesterday but our issue is we've got all the attributes of a top striker spread across two players - Yuki's work rate and boundless energy and Andri's ability to lose his man and finish (generally, he's missed some sitters too). If they could teach each other they would be deadly.
  25. Ismael's just following the Venky Rovers playbook - blame anyone and anything other than ourselves. Already we've had referees, the weather, the drainage, previously we've had injuries, bad luck, the EFL, fans, parachute payments, FFP rules, covid, Eustace, nasty players, their agents, Tomasson, Broughton, administrative errors, plain hard luck. It is quite the list and it grows every season as a failing regime searches far and wide for reasons, other than their own decision making and ineptitude, why this club is a failing husk of an organisation. Obviously they can't blame the real source of pretty much all our ills - the vile group of people in India overseeing it all year in year out - nor will the lower down employees do anything that might lay blame at the door of the henchmen in the shadows doing whatever it is they are doing. Nor indeed the incompetents beneath them, promoted way beyond their capabilities or stations simply by virtue of being willing, compliant and cheap. So into the void they blame all the other things that we cannot control and which clueless supporters just love to point their fingers at and believe little old Rovers are doing their best in the big nasty world that is set up against us. I'm the first in the queue to blame refereeing competence, of which there is a catalogue, but I am not for one second having it that our pathetic home results, rapid decline down the table (play off to relegation contenders in mere months) are the fault of anyone bar those running this shambles.
  26. Ah yes. Thanks. At normal speed I initially thought the defender had got something on the ball but on watching the replay, it was a pen and a mistake by the ref. That cost us a point then.
  27. I was pissed off. Im sick of seeing our sub par team throw away points. You blamed it all on the referee and brushed over the tendency that this team and this thin group of players and poor manager have of conceding late. I didnt say that Baradji is a horrendous player. But hes not been a very useful sub, hopefully because (in December, predictably) hes still not fit. Yes, De Neve in particular was awful again, he shouldnt keep bringing him on, and Baradji and Tavares were downgrades too. Obviously Gueye who again he keeps bringing on is like De Neve playing a number of levels above his natural level.
