  1. Past hour
  2. After we got promoted with Howard Kendall we finished 4th once (goal difference), 5th thrice and 6th once. I think it was a lot different to the last fifteen years . God, until Mowbray, we were only in the play off positions for about three minutes under Bowyer...
  3. I thought the body language was poor from a lot of them in that first half it's not what you'd expect in the first game of a new season with everything to play for.
  4. Just for Clarity, I post as lraC (Carl) backwards.
  5. Agreed we missed the boat but you had said if they have been offered they have eventually still not good enough mind you also if trav has been offered 30k (I don’t believe so) then his agent deserves a knighthood
  6. Don had a couple of years maybe before Jack started making a difference. He funded Archibald and Ardilles didn’t he? Propped up the Riverside, put a big ad on the Blackburn End roof. Don did a good job, but he definitely had a helping hand. The Mackay years were exciting, the Saxton years steady-ish, which got him the push in the end. As I recall the years between Kendall and Mackay, the predominant feeling was a bit like now: going nowhere, no dosh, anyone any good gets sold before their prime.
  7. Fair enough. Happy to leave it at that, until O2G has had the time to respond and given us the clarity, you, I and others, request.
  8. Not sure if it has been mentioned but Miyoshi set up a goal when he came on. Not that it matters as our dawdling has cost us that one due to the permit situation.
  9. My thoughts were based on Venkys being the real owners and the agents taking advantage of how stupid they are. Many other theories are available.
  10. They werent at easter, they all said themselves. At that point, youve missed your best chance.
  11. He won't be pleased about that, you'll be getting a thumbs down for daring to question why he hasn't read the minutes despite him posting regularly in the thread where everyone else is discussing the minutes.
  12. Yep, was at Bloomfield Road, you could tell he was different gravy.
  13. Where has that information came from? No way he gets offered 30k per week not a chance
  14. Yeah, they’re the only ones daft enough to pay that sort of money.
  15. Thought the performances/body language of Travis and Tronstad tells us more about the state of the club than of the players themselves.
  16. Mostly Rams fans pissing their knickers at the thought of getting Trav.
  17. He’s at best, a very average Championship player. If there is a team prepared to pay him that coin, I would be amazed and they must be absolutely mad.
  18. Oh, there'll be someone there, quite looking forward to it.
  19. Another club may well be offering well above what we can afford. Which is why we should have offered these players deals far sooner, if we even have at all. No excuse. At least we can replace another proven Championship experienced player with a no mark from some backwater.
  20. The more outside influences, that are aware of the problems at the Rovers the better.
  21. Agreed entirely this is an income generating competition each round potentially =Β£ our players need mins together especially after watching the new ones yesterday we are Rovers we should be going for this competition
