We should be spending a bit of money on a centre back that Is better than any of our defenders. But bringing back O'Riordan will leave us with Miller, Pratt,McLoughlin, Wharton and Carter 6 centre backs. Doesn't feel like they will look to bring in another defender which will be a mistake. Unless O'Riordan is being brought back for us to have a look at him and if we do sign an experienced centre back will then be sent back to Doncaster for the rest of the season. Or if Carter or Wharton are expected to be out longer term. I just don't see them having 7 centre halves registered in the squad and be harsh now to leave Pratt out in favour of O'Riordan

For the life of me I can't understand why we refuse to resign Tronstad. He's clearly the glue in midfield and all the players and Ismael love him, and he actively wants to stay. If there are 3 positions up for grabs, as far as you are concerned, if you can name 6 or more players who can play those positions, whether they are good enough, whether theyve proven themselves yet, whether they are constantly injured, it doesnt seem to matter to you. Cantwell in my opinion is a 10, not an 8. I agree regarding Tronstad that we lack a proper backup in the holding midfield department after Travis left, however. Holding midfielder coupled with a playmaker and box-to-box player is in my view a good combination in central midfield. We've lacked a central midfielder who can drive forward and attack opposition box for so many years. JDT experimented with Travis at one point but it failed. Baradji has potential to become good but I feel we need another one in case he gets injured again.

As a season ticket holder they've had my money already, but on average i spend over a £100 per game at the ground, across parking, club shop, children flag bearing and refreshments for me and the family. That's the first tap , ive turned off. Looking through my bank statements, i've spent (not including season tickets or fuel) £2146.00 this season. In the new year thats halfway to a holiday and wont be going in the clubs til in any capacity. As a supporter of 47 years, i've seen the good, the bad and the ugly but this time its different.
