  1. Past hour
  2. No option to watch tonight? Had to pay Everton to watch the home friendly!
  3. Just seen a Football League World article saying AI predicted us to finish 4th. Must have data-scraped Chaddy's posts to come up with that ๐Ÿ˜‰ No offence intended Chaddy ๐Ÿ™‚
  4. Our shirts this season (of all seasons) are not the correct design. Where are the original quarters? Or as some would have it, "The halves reversed on the back".
  5. The theory is fine but being confronted by that monstrosity was daunting. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  6. Same mistake as the site made for the Qatar match too. Time zones confuse Rovers- particularly the one between Preston and Blackburn on transfer deadline day...
  7. Funny how some couldn't 'wait and see' where he went before basically writing off his chances of doing anything other than another Nyambe heading downwards. Now its pivoted to 'he'll flop and drop in no time just wait and see' ๐Ÿคฃ
  8. Scary to think Hedges is now the starting winger. He should be nowhere near that 11 with the lack of contribution he provides. Absolutely terrible.
  9. People are allowed their own opinions, but thereโ€™s definitely an expectation that people should hold their hands up when they get it wrong. At the moment though, people that said he wouldnโ€™t get a move anywhere good, are wrong. Iโ€™m saying thatโ€™s okay, but to then say โ€˜letโ€™s see how he gets onโ€™, I donโ€™t agree, Iโ€™m afraid. โ€˜Letโ€™s wait until I might be right again in a few years?โ€™ Do me a favour. He got a good move, then if he fails and ends up back in the Champo on loan, then fair enough, but heโ€™s currently a La Liga player, when some said he was lower Championship or League one at best. They were just factually incorrect, to be fair.
  10. Outside roundabouts go clockwise inside roundabout goes anti-clockwise
  11. i had the same feeling about diaz that i had for el hadji diouf, both a bare of tosspots ,but hey, what can you do when they are banging the goals in,in diaz case,he was bloody useless for 2 seasons and only started scoring because somehow the coaching staff found what he was good at,look for the long ball, run on to it and cut inside
  12. Crazy, you spend your whole life preaching that everyone is entitled to an opinion and then suddenly because Dolan gets a move to Espanyol, then the people who doubted him are โ€œwrongโ€. Listen, for the very last time. I hope to god Iโ€™m wrong, because thereโ€™s no doubt heโ€™s a great lad. But in 100+ games, Iโ€™m saying heโ€™s crap. He wonโ€™t be the first crap player to get a great move. Heโ€™s extremely low risk in terms of wages and fees so itโ€™s probably best if everyone sits back and sees how things work out for him there before we start deciding whether anyone was right or wrong. Eh?
  13. I dont think many if any have said that he will take La Liga by storm. Thats a different argument. People suggested that he had made a mistake led by his and his agents ego because he didnt instantly sign for someone. Hes landed in La Liga before the end of July. Even had he signed for another Championship club on a more reasonable wage, that would have justified his decision. But this certainly does. Either way, its our loss. We need a right winger in now otherwise its just the Hedges without instagram.
  14. Stand in the corner, face the wall and remain silent for 48hrs.
  15. Just the latest narrative created to suit across social media to cover the disappointment of yet another asset bailing for nowt. People forget the original contract talks with Broughton actually stalled because he had no agent at the time. All that was true and he wanted to sort a new one obviously before contract talks. No doubt it's a straight toss up between the new ones coming in and saying this kid has been playing for peanuts so we want a good rise and security or as is highly likely things just got shelved and never picked up again until it was too late.
  16. Right, but thatโ€™s in the future- right now, heโ€™s playing in the top division in Spain, not a league 1 plodder or bottom end championship player at best. No need to worry about being wrong sometimes, it happens.
  17. I wouldn't mind Diaz back at Ewood, he would improve our forward line.
  18. Imagine if Dolan is a huge success at espanyol and he gets a move to real madrid or Barcelona in 2 years. I think we'll be looking back at it gutted. Who'd have thought Steven nzonzi would play for France
  19. Bet you weren't saying that, when Diaz was sticking them in the net for Rovers.
  20. I think he's class in the making, we'd have a better chance of a top 6 finish, if we could keep him for a season.
  21. 6pm UK time. I can't link the tweet right now but it's on there from this morning
  22. Today
  23. Well, I hope Dolan does brilliantly over there and looks back fondly on his time at Rovers as being fundamental in his development. He probably needed to move on to push his career on as his development had probably stalled/was stalling. Was he ever a top class player for us? No, certainly not for any extended period. But have we been a top team packed with quality to bring out the very best in each player, over that same period? Of course not. Despite some of the things he did on the pitch that frustrated the hell out of me, he has consistently been, for several years, a grafter and someone who seemed to give his all for this club, including keeping himself fit, injury free, and willing to try things (whatever the outcome). I'd thank him for that if I saw him at Ewood some day in the future. My eight-year-old son is really upset by his departure as Tyrhys was his hero. Partly because of the energy he showed on the pitch whenever we went to watch Rovers, but also because he was so patient and kind with young Rovers fans, like my boy, when he met them. So I'll choose to remember the good parts, of which there were many more with Dolan than with the majority of those who have "represented" the blue and white halves over the last decade or so. I'm encouraging my son to do the same. And to wish Dolan well with his move, which he has earned with his efforts and his perseverance.
  24. Last comment on the subject: let's see how much he plays before people start demanding others eat humble pie. There was great crowing about Brereton-Diaz when he signed for that Spanish team - they couldn't ship him out quick enough once they saw him in training.
  25. I do wish humble pie was on more menus on here. We all get stuff wrong from time to time, Iโ€™ll never understand why people just canโ€™t admit when they are wrong. Itโ€™s life, it happens.
