  1. Past hour
  2. You might as well say “ The next time we play Barcelona “.
  3. Then cue mystery interest him in January which the Club claim they weren't expecting but "the player received an offer and he wanted to take it". They really do take everyone for mugs and by rights Ismael should have a nose as long as Pinocchio.
  4. As with all such things, there is always a tell-tale in the patterns around it. Whilst there is nothing 'illegal' per se in what appears to have been done so many times under Rovers' flag, it stinks like the bag of shite that it really and truly is. If it smells like shite, it looks like shite, and it plays like shite, well then, don't be amazed if it is actually shite, despite the protestations of the gob-shites and their acolytes. VENKYS AND VEXATIOUS ACOLYTES OUT!
  5. They’ll be presented next time we play Newcastle & Celtic….
  6. AGREF International, very much Peru based agency. The reported transfer figure was the biggest red flag, never moved for more than £1m & was average at best last season & finds himself being approached for £2m...
  7. Today
  8. Who is his agent? That was always the question we used to ask over every signing, usually you could tell if they had any chance of being good or not from that information alone.
  9. It sounds like they will take the option above in bold https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25651075.blackburn-rovers-need-right-balance-cantwell-injury/ Valerien Ismael says Todd Cantwell is “improving well” but insists that Rovers must manage his return from injury carefully. The skipper has not featured since early October after picking up a knee problem and will not be involved against QPR tonight. However, Cantwell could potentially be back in contention for Saturday’s trip to Wrexham if all goes to plan in the next few days. “At the minute it looks good but (QPR) won’t be possible,” Ismael told RoversTV. “We need to give him time. It is important when he comes back, he has to stay 100 per cent and this is a fine line to find. “We have a lot of games and don’t have a normal week to train, so we need to find the right balance to see him back. “But he is improving well. He has a couple of sessions behind him and the response was good.”
  10. Very good. "Venky apologist"! It really is such a good description. Glad you got it out into the wider world.
  11. Two utterly unpredictable clubs facing off. QPR mirrored our run of three wins with a run of three defeats having previously got to the fringes of the play-offs after recovering from starting their away campaign with a 7-1 tonking at Coventry. Expect anything from both sides. Impossible to predict this one except noting that if Ilias Chair is allowed to play well, QPR are a real handful.
  12. Really enjoyed both sections of this episode. Thanks to all involved.
  13. Optimism is one thing that we as Rovers fans cannot rely on, and a Rovers side this thin on the ground cannot afford. We need solid graft (Yuki style), a decent ref (like that is suddenly going to happen!), some modicum of 'home advantage' (even if there hasn't been any so far this season) and more than the rub of the green (and you know what they say - "The harder you work, the luckier you get...") We aren't going get all of that any time soon, so probably best to buckle up, cos Kansas is probably about to go bye bye.. Keeping it all crossed for this evening.. COYB!
  14. match report for U21 game
  15. "Who would want to buy a football club that loses tens of millions a year?" Turns out people are queuing up to do it. That's not what we're usually told. Same as with Coventry and Derby in the last few years. They got new owners and didn't end up with Bury in NW Counties equivalent. Crowds way up at both clubs and both above us in the table. Oh well
  16. Swansea are in free-fall, would be a nice team to drop as it's miles from anywhere. If we can trade Norwich / Pompey / Swansea for a Stockport / Bolton / Huddersfield / Bradford I'd be delighted!
  17. Yeah that Ipswich match has fucked us in so many ways, really is an unwanted addition to an already clustered period. We want to be as fit as possible for Wednesday (H), Oxford (H), Pompey (A), Millwall (H) over a 2 week period in December - 4 games we'll probably be favourites in all 4!
  18. We seem to have a good team spirit at the moment, that can take you a long way in this league, but we are getting desperate for some players to recover from injury. We’re losing at least one first team regular with every game at the moment. it’s not just the starting eleven that is being weakened. Players that could come on off the bench and do a job are having to start leaving the bench weakened as well.
  19. Considering he was supposed to be Travis replacement it was a monumental balls up. I'd wager my last quid whoever was responsible for bringing him in wasn't the same person who identified some of the other rather more suitable ones.
  20. Pretty much down to bare bones, just in time for the busiest part of the season
  21. Is Tavares injured or has he been deemed crap by the regime? Totally disappeared, unsurprisingly having seen him play in the first couple of games. Shocking signing.
  22. yes. had surgery on an ankle injury in October - apparently been playing with injury since early 2025 https://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/25580233.ipswich-town-sam-szmodics-undergoes-surgery-injury/
  23. Cantwell currently on 44 league appearances for Rovers, with 9 league games to play before the January window opens. My guess is that he will feature in 5 of those 9 games, so that any potential wage rise/fee to Rangers is not triggered, and he will then be sold in early January. If this is the case, it will be interesting to see if they cherry pick certain games where they think he can make the difference, citing they are "managing his fitness" as reasons for sporadic absences, or if they just say he isn't fit yet for a couple more weeks and bring him back for the last 5 games in that 9 game run starting with Oxford on Dec 9th Before someone brings this up, I will note that it is also possible that I am entirely wide of the mark and he returns at the weekend and plays regularly until January (or even the end of the season), I suppose we shall see
  24. By the same token, there's a chance we'll have to rush him back a bit earlier than we'd ideally like. There's no good time for an injury crisis, but it coming now is especially annoying. All things being equal you'd look at our games almost until Christmas as a real opportunity to put some distance between us and the bottom three, maybe even get towards the play offs for a spell.
  25. Agree above especially about the row z stuff, injury free etc just read his interview on LT and I hadn’t realised he was out for almost 18months with injuries poor lad hopefully that’s all behind him now but I wonder if our medical staff need reviewing (especially considering trons clearly played with an injury and now he’s out for a while)
