The most inevitable loss in our history (allow me a bit of hyperbole), yes we were on our way to beating them once but the football gods are fickle and our home form abysmal! -

Of those players, who do you think are upgrades on those we had previously? I'll give you Gudjohnsen over Gueye (which isn't particularly difficult), but the rest? -

I hope it's called off with us winning 5-0, a second postponement might prompt enough ridicule and provoke enough outrage for us to finally do something about the pitch. -

You're beginning to sound a bit like like Ismael there, I didnt think it was a foul, but fouls get wrongly awarded or wrongly not given all the time. Just because a foul was awarded it doesn't mean we automatically have to concede from it, it's our job to defend it properly, no matter what stage of the game we're at, then it becomes a complete non issue. It's always someone else's fault with Ismael. -

I hate sounding snappy or sarcastic towards you Parson but it sounds as though you're happy to applaud them all the way down to League 1 (and maybe beyond). Could I repeat Mattyblue's question towards you, what is your opinion on the overall state of the Club and direction of travel? - Today

Big if. Equally, it will be very difficult to maintain the away form across an entire season, both will level out to a degree. Hard to close out games with some of the dreadful squad players we have. Gestede said we have a better squad at the start of the season. I know even you have agreed that he was wrong. So I dont get why you think we could challenge for the play offs with a weaker squad. -

An away end like PNE has a high percentage that don’t go to home games very often, though the ones that actually do may get together with pals that sit in different areas at home matches, plus beer and no wonder it’s far more raucous than a sparse Ewood. -
Both have the ability & potential, both also better on the ball than Pratt, Litherland is a year further along than Atcheson in terms of age & experience though. Edit - I do not think that either will feature regularly for the first team this season (barring an injury crisis in December/early January). I can see O'Riordan being recalled as cover for Miller on the right of the back 3, Pratt being cover for McLoughlin on the left, and an older head being brought in to cover/challenge Wharton in the middle on a short term or loan deal (discounting Carter this season based on his injures)

Great, has there ever been a game abandoned twice for the same reason ? -
Who of Litherland or Atcheson will follow in Pratt footsteps?

Missing my point entirely it’s not about which player was at fault or blaming or making excuses it’s about game management that is the theme that runs through each game where we have conceded in the 90+ minute -

Usually in away matches we allow the home team to dictate the tempo and we react accordingly. Our tactics sometimes reflect this by affording them more possession in certain areas and other aspects Generally this is the norm for most Championship games. In the majority of our home games we haven't really done this but allowed the visitors to dictate how the game is played with the QPR game being a good example. We allowed them to play a really slow tempo and seemed happy to match it. We have to play home games on our terms and let the opponents come up with a way to combat this and then have another way of playing according to how the game is going. -

How many of those signings would have got into last seasons fully fit team ? Gudjohnsen, maybe. Alebiosu - easily good enough but Brittain was playing well. Morishita, again maybe. After that you’ve said it. -

a bit of both. If we could sort out the home form then I think a challenge for playoffs is possibility. some signings won't work out as we have already previously discussed -
When they’ve done reduced price tickets previously, they’ve copped some flak for undermining the value of a season ticket. I suspect what they are doing here is trying to compensate for that by saying the offer is only open to s/t holders so it’s a benefit to them alone & they can bring someone of their choosing. If it was £10 ticket to anyone, then the s/t offer is undermined more than it is by doing it this way. It’s a bit like having a finite number of guest passes to the gym for your mates. The hope is that you bring your mate, they like it & sign up. You’re happy because your mate now goes to the same gym, they’re happy because they got a free visit or two & the gym is happy because they’ve acquired a new customer. It’s that principle.
