A full replay would just be like any other EFL game - 90 minutes 11 v 11 and at Ewood Park. The logistics/practicalities of playing such a shortened match (fans v behind closed doors, if fans, what to charge, when, where etc etc - it is unprecedented in English football as far as I know)

Sounds good on paper. Who would referee the two games, it would be on a different ground, there would be an incentive to make sure certain opponents weren’t fit for the full game. I’m sure there would be many more scenarios.

Thought Miller was really good. No sign of being uncomfortable in a back four at all. Against Ipswich and Watford we looked really well drilled defensively with Mori tucking in when we were off the ball making a back five. Gave the opposition wingers absolutely nothing. Then when we were in possession Mori got forward and gave us options. Miller like Carter seemed to be able to drive out from the back too. Have to say Ismael has a good tactical awareness where all the players know where to be in any given situation.

I saw someone else suggest this. Pragmatic as it sounds, it simply isn't an option and I dare say would leave the EFL even more wide open to challenge from other clubs than either of the three choices they do actually have. If either Rovers or Ipswich (or both!) were to scrape promotion/a play off place or avoid relegation by 1 point the clubs that suffer will scream blue murder.

score/update From what I've seen, Clanford looks very fast on the right wing, McCoy is more the modern type of winger cutting inside from the left onto his right foot (although looks like he may be playing as a 10 today), McCoy made his U21s debut off the bench last night Assuming its the same player, Mbonzale was part of our U13 squad less than 2 years ago

Love Yuki, but I'd have him come on as sub for this one. McLoughlin also unfortunate to not come back in after suspension, but would be harsh on Miller or Wharton to drop either of them them.

There are already talks taking place, of extending the play off positions, so how about the teams in 7th and 8th playing the teams in 5th and 6th away from home with a man short and a goal down, but only play 15 minutes each way. They would probably go at it hell for leather. To add a bit of an it's a knockout theme to it, soak the pitch beforehand and make sure the ball sticks in puddles and won't bounce. It is just a joke by the way, before anyone starts to tear into me.

Opportunity here for the EFL and SKY to make a spectacle of replaying the last 20 mins. Tag the coverage on to before or after another decent audience fixture

Fair point. Less than a year ago our match vs Pompey was delayed too so the EFL will probably factor that in when making a decision, but hoping we come out of this one with 3 points or continuing the match where we left off.
