  2. I'm not disputing where he went wasn't good for him. I'm saying we needed money quickly, Palace knew and took advantage. That is the crux of the whole debate and is irrefutable.
  3. VAR can only advise on red cards, penalties, goals (scored or disallowed) or mistaken identify. Once the VAR deemed it not to be a 'clear and obvious error' the game restarted normally.
  4. You're saying it was her choice and we have no need to grumble?
  5. I'm not sure, but I wonder if Wharton has not been the same since his groin surgery mid-season. Palace continued to play him when he was struggling badly, putting off the op. This despite the fact that they have a fair few central midfielders. I don't know the details, obviously, but from afar, it was negligent, at best, and maybe even cynical. As a result of having his op. later, clubs needing a quick fix couldn't consider him for the January transfer window. He certainly wasn't great against Villa in the semi-final and outshone by Kamada, in my opinion (despite the pundits lazy bandwagoning). Hopefully, he will return to his best.
  6. Fair enough, not seen that but Unleaded is fairly reliable. I think people do forget though, he is also sharing rumours, he doesn't speak directly to all (probably many at all) of the people he talks about, and isn't infallible. But believing him is understandable.
  7. It wasn't a game for him to show his attributes unfortunately because Palace were so much on the defensive. He did make some useful interventions though.
  8. Whatever, just be dismissive about it instead of replying to the last words and sharing what the problem is.
  9. Excellent post : Get rid of Sam Allardyce as manager get a cheaper one in ..Within their first 6 weeks in charge . Nothing changes but yet some fans think they are the dogs bollocks ! Venkys Out
  10. That was the only highlight from what was one of the worst seasons in history. Thankfully Souness took a machete to that squad and built up a proper team the year after and got the job done.
  11. Good news, that'll help cover Waggotts next bonus 😭
  12. Charles Mingus - Goodbye Pork Pie Hat
  13. The fact they’ve sat on that for what, five years, says everything about this regime. Such a simple but meaningful change and they couldn’t be arsed as they have absolutely no feel for Rovers or its heritage.
  14. For me he’s a sign of the the post-PepBall future. He isn’t interested in the safe option, always looking to get the ball in to dangerous positions and to turn the opposition (even if he loses Palace possession at times)- the exact opposite of what the likes of Grealish have been turned into.
  15. Today
  16. I've watched Wharton a lot this season and thought yesterday was one of his okay games.....Amazing you still see great comments about him based on average performances...He's going to the very top!
  17. You don’t think agree that clubs take advantage of other clubs in a poor financial position. Oh, Chaddy.
  18. Disagree with this, I think Pep is one of the more humble managers when it comes to loosing, especially in this press after games...Henderson is a wind up merchant and for me should have just kept his head down instead of giving it the "I am"...He shouldn't have been on the pitch for Christ sake.
  19. Mind-boggling that one.
  20. Henderson made 6 or 7 saves. Penalty and one where I was sure it was going in the highlights. The rest were high quality too. Agree with your general point though and I'm happy to see pace and width coming back. The ball pulled back from the byeline is still the most dangerous in football.
  21. That O’Reilly had the best chance in the second half but by the time he’d switched the ball from being a right foot shot onto his “ favoured “ left foot the chance had gone ! I despair of modern footballers that are so one footed. What do the do in training ?
  22. I hope for Palace win for a different team to win something.
  23. I was thinking that. It was definitely outside the box and it was a definite handball.
  24. No I dont agree cos none of the top 6 wanted to buy him plus I think move to Palace was a good one for him cos he played regular PL football instead of being on the bench bigger club. It was right move for him and if he moved on we get around £9m so his fee will be around £31m witn the adds on He has shone and 18 months his next move he is ready now for that next step. A move to Liverpool would be good move for him in my opinion. You witness the development of Curtis Jones this season under Slot.
