  1. Past hour
  2. I wonder if there is an option even though they’ve not said so. My reasoning - the Rover’s site says: 1. An initial three years 2 Until at least 2028.
  3. Maybe it's just a positive take instead of everyone spinning a negative thought on everything.
  4. LT saying a one year option is in the contract
  5. Hopefully can prove to be a good signing and we can keep Tronstad and Travis and have some proper competition in there. Good to get him in early and hopefully more follow soon. Surprised that hes only on a 3 year deal with no option. Perhaps a small indication that the fee is indeed smaller than advertised?
  6. Cos we brought Forshaw back and added a relatively expensive (for us) midfielder. I was scathing about Forshaw resigning but if we keep Tron, Trav and add Tav then I’ll be ok with midfield in general. But history tells us that’s not how we operate.
  7. What’s your point? End of the day Ewood was re-built for a club at the top of the Premier League. We will never, ever fill it completely (so say 28,000 home fans with 3k away) with our own fans week in week out even if we ended back in the top flight. The fanbase isn’t big enough. So if it takes a ticket offer to do it, so what?
  8. If we're paying a fee up to 2 million, he's not being brought in to sit on the bench is he?
  9. Why are people saying Forshaw signing means Travis or Tronstad leaving? Do we not remember they were all in the same squad a month or so ago????
  10. There no way most of us are buying that they're ever going to pay anything close to 2 million. This also seems like poor journalism because I think is supposed to mean euros. We will never find out the initial fee but I refuse to believe they bought a player for over a million quid.
  11. That's the worry, midfield wasn't the priority but with 2 in 2 days, something must be afoot surely... Absolutely no idea about this lad but it's certainly a more interesting signing than Forshaw, who we know is shite already.
  12. Whenever has there ever been a β€œplan”, has there fuck!
  13. Forshaw, Tavares in/ Travis, Tronstad out?
  14. I guess it comes down to whether there are three teams worse than Rovers next season. Don`t think Birmingham or Wrexham are two of them. Its not just the lack of a proper budget, its the failure to tie decent Championship players down to any reasonable contracts post Broughton. This neurotic obsession with cutting the wage bill! Whatever VI certainly has his work cut out.
  15. yeah, when in 1978 the crowd was over 27000 , not many were supporting us, things change, a few years later we won the league , ups and downs, the biggest home support i remember-after we won the league cup in 2002, against Fulham, 10 pound a ticket , we also got 26700 against Oxford, in 2018 guess what, 10 pound a ticket
  16. With all due respect... I'm not sure how you can say that unless you've watched him play numerous times.
  17. That blue chair was probably in Waggotts office, he doesn't need it anymore.
  18. Travis is history from a Rovers perspective, imo, and we will next see his value on the pitch when we experience it in opposition colours in the coming season. Hopefully he will have some consideration for the long-suffering fans who have had to endure such a long and painful downgrading of expectations on and off the pitch. Not sure why you'd be gobsmacked, when the writing has been on the wall since the end of last season. Look, if we are having a clear out, so that IV has a clean slate for next season, then so be it. But just get the fook on with it, and start a proper rebuild with bona-fide recruitment to a plan, rather than piecemeal hand to mouth getting by on a hope and ham sandwich. Now, personally I'd be gobsmacked if there was a plan πŸ˜‰ VENKYS OUT!!
  19. Have they flogged the fancy red and gold chair from the new home kit photoshoot material already
  20. Today
  21. Feels like the time we signed all those Portuguese lads.
  22. Definitely on board with the Tavares signing. Good pedigree and good age. Think he'll be a good signing. I'm almost certain he'll be the replacement for Travis though.
