Ticket allocation for Norwich City

About 5/600 i think they cut it in half when there's not many expected. -
Best Case Carlos Carvalhal 6-18 month contract if we can do it. If it's 6 months, spend the rest of the season seeking out a successor for the new season. Next best option Probably someone like Rowett till the end of the season. Knows the league, should be able to grind out results to give us a fighting chance. Other options (might be out of reach) Billic, Wagner, Hasenhuttl, Cifuentes Avoid Will Still, Russell Martin, Mowbray, Hughes, Souness (really Nixon?), Chris Hughton, Karanka What I think will happen I think the club will either be looking for a relatively unknown manager from a foreign league (data driven approach) or they'll plump for a "young and upcoming" coach, a Ryan Mason type appointment which will fail spectacularly. Out of left field Can only be Damien Duff, won't happen though.

Valérien Ismaël: Former Head Coach
Tomphil2 replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
As someone has already mentioned they probably just signed off the use of whatever money was available to pay off Ismael and his crew instead of bringing more players in. Should have been done weeks ago then they could've shifted a few fringe men out and got a couple more in but we know how they dither. As i said someone has finally got big Barrys attention. -
To put a name out there; Eirik Horneland. Just sacked from Saint-Etienne after only 5 wins in 14 in the playoff race back to Ligue 1. He had a PPM on 1.62 in Ligue 2 with Saint-Etienne. Before that he was head coach at Brann SK in Norway where he won coach of the year when Brann was in second division (equal to Championship) and he then went on to win the cup and reach the UEFA playoffs with Brann. He also worked together with Sondre Tronstad in Haugesund. He would be risky, but is a coach that would suit the Championship with his no nonsense style of play and his ability to create a "togetherness" and team spirit.

That's the way I see it. I don't want some experimental, swallowed the book, play my way at all costs, manager. We need someone to come in, assess the squad's strengths (sigh) and weaknesses and fit round pegs in round holes. Results driven football... someone of the ilk of Allardyce, Dyche, Warnock. And if that means a short-term contract with a big survival bonus, so be it.
-
Bit of a punt but I wouldn't be against Bellamy being given a chance and see if he can replicate with Wales with us, like Hughes did. Get players doing more as a collective than their individual ability. However I don't think he'd put up with the garbage from the board and owners.
-
Should've gone for him instead of Ismael but they brought this guy in for the job in hand which was sell everything they could, replace with cheap development players and youth. Be quiet and coach what you are given, just keep us treading water. Gerrard or anyone with an ounce of ambition wouldn't touch it.

The key there was Eustace could see be had a good management team to work with ....
-
Cifuentes will have been on a good deal at Leicester fresh out of the PL. Three year contract I think. Don't think for one minute we'd be offering the money he wants.

"If" we win tonight. A bit off track but is everyone else having problems with the Lancashire telegraph website? I have been getting 404 type of errors and originally thought it was due to the China firewall but i'm still getting the same error in Singapore. Seems like i can't view even the homepage unless i use a VPN.

Genuinely don't see any problems tonight, even with Ismael I was confident of a win. We are poor, but this lot are the worst championship side in many a year. Of course I really hope we win to get us out of the bottom 3 but not sure I can do with the no doubt constant crowing from the club about it for the rest of the week. -
Duffy’s a prickly character by some accounts. Left his club in Ireland after winning the championship after some sort of bust up. I don’t think he’s what we need right now and would his name be touted if he wasn’t an ex Rovers favourite? Eustace went to Derby about the same time last season and got them out of relegation trouble. We need a pragmatic hard headed manger like him
-
Do people forget he has just been sacked after doing a shocking job at Leicester 😳 we have just got rid of one manager with an awful record in English football bar one job let’s not hire another
-
Local or not, Gerrard wouldn't come here under any circumstances. Genuinely no clue who they will get. No doubt there will be plenty clamouring for Johnson when we win tonight.

Valérien Ismaël: Former Head Coach

It really isnt weird though. Deadline day was right after an important home match and before an even more important home match against Sheff Weds where only a win is good enough. It was necessary to do something. -
Duffer is/was my favourite player along with Ripley. Don't want to see him anywhere near this club again under the current circumstances.

The only thing I want is a manager than is die hard and gets the players to go to war every match. There are enough battlers in the squad to ensure this. I also want a manager that has a bit of tactical nous and wants to stretch the opposition to give more freedom going forward. and I DONT want a manager who plays from side to side and tries to get a hopeless cross in.

Not really no but as you ask. Carlos Carvalhal on an 18 month contract Gary Rowett till the end of the season Billic or Wagner, if they can be tempted (I don't think they can) -
Big Sam or Mowbray until the end of the season for me then reassess. I'd go Damien Duff at the start of next season, probably wouldn't be against giving Phil Jones a shot either. (😬)

Is Will Still a genuine option?

Reckon we're likely to hear this week? Perhaps before weekend?

Ticket allocation for Norwich City

I don't know the actual number but when I looked at the seating plan to buy ours there were only the two end blocks available and one of them has rows with only a few seats in each.
